Provided is a coated rice seed comprising a coating layer, said coating layer including: a polyvinyl alcohol having a degree of polymerization of 500 or more and having a degree of saponification in the range of 71.0-97.5 mol pcnt ; zinc oxide; bentonite; and a surfactant.
