Abstract

A release film for producing a green sheet according to the present invention includes the base material 11, the smoothed layer 12 and the release agent layer 13. The smoothed layer 12 is formed by heating a smoothed-layer-forming composition to be cured. The smoothed-layer-forming composition contains a melamine resin having a mass average molecular weight of 950 or less as a main component. The release agent layer 13 is formed by heating a release-agent-layer-forming composition to be cured. The release-agent-layer-forming composition contains a melamine resin as a main component and a polyorganosiloxane. An arithmetic average roughness Ra1 of the outer surface 131 is 8 nm or less and a maximum projection height Rp1 of the outer surface 131 is 50 nm or less.
