Abstract

The invention relates to a luggage piece (1) or container having wheels (2), which comprises a braking device and a plurality of pivotable wheels (2). The braking device comprises a manual control means (3) that controls at least one Bowden cable (4), passing through at least one flexible tensioning sheath (5, 6), and controls, via each end, a means for actuating the braking of a pivotable wheel, mounted in a housing (8) connected to a pivotal axis of the pivotable wheel (2). The manual control means (3) has a first button, referred to as the activation button (3a), and a second button, referred to as the deactivation button (3b).
