Abstract

A semirigid pack made of thin cardboard that is formed from a blank which has or forms a front wall (14), rear wall (15), side walls (16,17) located alongside one another and which has a peripheral strip (28) which is provided on one side, is continuous along the entire length and has folding tabs for a (base) wall (20). In the region of the peripheral strip (28), punched portions in the form of offcut-free punched lines are formed, specifically transversely directed cut lines for folding flaps and arcuate compensating punched portions. As a result, the pack can be produced in an offcut- or residue-free manner from a blank which is severed from a material web (34).
