CARACTERIZADO PARA CONDUCIR LAS SOLUCIONES DE UNA EXTRACCION LIQUIDO-LIQUIDO, LAS CUALES SON MEZCLADAS EN UNA DISPERSION DENTRO DE UN ESPACIO DE MEZCLA (TANQUE DE MEZCLA-DISPERSION). DICHA DISPERSION QUE SALE DEL ULTIMO MEZCLADOR ES DESCARGADA A TRAVES DE LA PARTE SUPERIOR RANURADA DEL TUBO DE CAPTACION DIRIGIENDOSE DESDE ABAJO DEL SEDIMENTADOR HACIA LOS CANALES DE DISTRIBUCION UBICADOS EN LA PARTE INFERIOR DEL SEDIMENTADOR Y EXTENDIENDOSE HACIA LAS PAREDES LATERALES DE DICHO SEDIMENTADOR. DICHA DISPERSION ES DISTRIBUIDA UNIFORMEMENTE EN UN ESPACIO CERRADO TIPO CANAL A TRAVES DE VARIAS ABERTURAS, PRIMERO HACIA EL BORDE FRONTAL DEL SEDIMENTADOR Y LUEGO RETORNA SOBRE LA PARTE TIPO CANAL DEL EXTREMO POSTERIOR DEL SEDIMENTADOR SEPARANDOSE EN DOS SOLUCIONES CLARAS. DICHO ESPACIO CERRADO ESTA UBICADO EN LA PARTE DE FONDO DEL SEDIMENTADOR A LO LARGO DE TODO EL ANCHO DEL SEDIMENTADOR
