SE REFIERE A UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA PRODUCIR UN PRODUCTO AMORFO QUE CONTIENE OXIDO BORICO (B2O3), QUE COMPRENDE: 1) ALIMENTAR ACIDO BORICO A UN REACTOR-MEZCLADOR PREFERIBLEMENTE HORIZONTAL DE EJE UNICO Y MEZCLAR; 2) CALENTAR DICHO ACIDO BORICO EN DICHO REACTOR-MEZCLADOR A UNA TEMPERATURA DESDE APROXIMADAMENTE 180�C A 220�C, PREFERIBLEMENTE ENTRE 195�C Y 205�C, POR UN PERIODO DE TIEMPO SUFICIENTE PARA DESHIDRATAR DICHO ACIDO BORICO Y FORMAR UN VIDRIO FUNDIDO FLUIDO QUE CONTIENE APROXIMADAMENTE 80% A 90% EN PESO DE B2O3; 3) DESCARGAR DICHO VIDRIO FUNDIDO DESDE DICHO REACTOR-MEZCLADOR A TRAVES DE MEDIOS DE ESCAPE CALIENTES; 4) ENFRIAR DICHO VIDRIO FUNDIDO PARA FORMAR UN PRODUCTO VITREO SOLIDO; Y 5) TRITURAR DICHO PRODUCTO VITREO PARA FORMAR UN PRODUCTO DE OXIDO BORICO AMORFO EN PARTICULAS QUE CONTIENE APROXIMADAMENTE 80% A 90% EN PESO DE B2O3IT REFERS TO A PROCEDURE FOR PRODUCING AN AMORPHOUS PRODUCT CONTAINING BORIC OXIDE (B2O3), INCLUDING: 1) FEEDING BORIC ACID TO A PREFERABLY HORIZONTAL MIXER REACTOR-MIXER; 2) HEATING SUCH BORICO ACID IN SUCH REACTOR-MIXER TO A TEMPERATURE FROM APPROXIMATELY 180�C to 220�C, PREFERABLY BETWEEN 195�C AND 205�C, FOR A PERIOD OF TIME ENOUGH TO DEHYDRATE SUCH BORID AID BORICO AND CONTAINS APPROXIMATELY 80% TO 90% BY WEIGHT OF B2O3; 3) DOWNLOAD SAID CAST GLASS FROM SUCH REACTOR-MIXER THROUGH HOT EXHAUST MEDIA; 4) COOLING SUCH MELTED GLASS TO FORM A SOLID GLASS PRODUCT; AND 5) CRUSHING SUCH VITREOUS PRODUCT TO FORM A PARTICULATE AMORPHIC BORIC OXIDE PRODUCT THAT CONTAINS APPROXIMATELY 80% TO 90% BY WEIGHT OF B2O3
