Abstract
La maquina y procedimiento para el aislamiento de aceites esenciales mediante un flujo pulsante de vapor trata de una nueva tecnologia para el aislamiento de aceites esenciales que emplea flujo pulsante de vapor como agente de separacion energetica. Este vapor es generado en un recipiente de alta presion, almacenado en un tanque, desde donde se suministra a una columna de aislamiento rellena de matriz vegetal usando una valvula para generar los pulsos de vapor. Para el caso de las semillas del molle (Schinus molle L) y la cascara de Citrus sinensis O. se observa resultados similares y se pueden resumir como sigue: El rendimiento se incrementa en un 55% respecto de la destilacion con arrastre de vapor. El numero de especies aisladas se incrementa casi al doble, la productividad se incrementa en un orden de magnitud, el consumo de energia se reduce en un 30 % y el tiempo de proceso se reduce hasta a 1/5 respecto del proceso con arrastre de vapor. Por todas las ventajas demostradas, este proceso esta llamado a alcanzar el horizonte industrial mediante un escalamiento apropiado.The machine and procedure for the isolation of essential oils by means of a pulsating flow of steam deals with a new technology for the isolation of essential oils that uses pulsating flow of steam as an energetic separation agent.
