Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a un metodo de obtencion de gas de sintesis de amoniaco que comprende los siguientes pasos: a) proporcionar una materia prima de hidrocarburo, b) preparar una corriente de hidrogeno separado y una corriente de oxigeno separado por medio de la electrolisis del agua, c) proporcionar aire de proceso en el reformado autotermico al enriquecer el aire atmosferico con la corriente de oxigeno de b), d) someter al reformado autotermico una parte de la materia prima de hidrocarburo con el aire de proceso enriquecido con oxigeno a una corriente de gas de proceso que comprende hidrogeno, nitrogeno, monoxido de carbono y dioxido de carbono, e) tratar la corriente de gas de proceso retirada del paso de reformado autotermico d) en una o mas reacciones de desplazamiento de gas de agua, f) retirar el dioxido de carbono de la corriente de gas de proceso tratada con desplazamiento de gas de agua, g) purificar la corriente de gas de proceso del paso f), y h) obtener el gas de sintesis de amoniaco. Dicho metodo permite la modernizacion y/o incremento de la capacidad de produccion de una planta de gas de sintesis de amoniaco basada en reformado autotermico existente.
