Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a un producto retardante de llama que consiste de una solucion acuosa que comprende: - un componente de carbono hidroxilado, - un agente intumescente adecuado para por lo menos parcialmente, o incluso completamente, deshidratar el componente de carbono hidroxilado, de tal manera que genere, bajo el efecto del calor, una espuma carbonosa, - un agente tixotropico, elegido por tener una viscosidad que aumenta como resultado de la adicion de agua en ausencia de cizallamiento, teniendo la solucion una concentracion suficiente del componente de carbono hidroxilado y el agente intumescente de modo que, cuando se agrega agua a dicha solucion, la viscosidad de los mismos aumenta en ausencia de cizallamiento.
