Abstract
Se refiere a un metodo para la manufactura de un anillo vaginal, donde el anillo vaginal comprende al menos un agente terapeuticamente activo y un cuerpo que comprende un elastomero de siloxano entrecruzado. El metodo comprende manufacturar el cuerpo en forma de una varilla que tiene un primer extremo y un segundo extremo y dar forma al cuerpo para obtener un anillo colocando una pieza de union entre el primer extremo del cuerpo y el segundo extremo del cuerpo, donde la pieza de union comprende un elastomero de siloxano no entrecruzado que tiene un peso molecular promedio en peso de 650-850 g/mol y un catalizador de entrecruzamiento, y curado de la pieza de union durante un periodo de tiempo de 1-30 segundos utilizando una temperatura de 125-220°C
