Abstract

Se presenta un sistema y un metodo para mantenimiento de un rotor de un generador. El sistema incluye un carro para transportar el rotor. Al menos un dispositivo de direccionamiento del carro esta dispuesto en el carro para dirigir el carro cuando se atraviesa a lo largo del patin de extraccion durante el mantenimiento del rotor. El dispositivo de direccionamiento del carro esta fijado al carro de una manera tal que es accesible desde encima del carro. El dispositivo de direccionamiento del carro es ajustable de tal manera que un centro del carro se alinea con un rail central del patin de extraccion cuando se atraviesa a lo largo del patin de extraccion durante el mantenimiento del rotor.
