Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un proceso para recuperar metales de valor del mineral (50) y se configura para reducir en forma considerable o eliminar la necesidad de una instalacion de almacenamiento de relaves. Este objeto se alcanza a traves de un sistema de procesamiento integrado, disenado para mejorar la proporcion de residuo de arena de la flotacion de gruesos (62) con respecto a la cantidad de relave que surge de la flotacion de finos (72), y luego la mezcla de una proporcion de los materiales de ganga de la flotacion de finos y gruesos en una pila (82) de libre drenaje.
