Abstract

Un aparato y un metodo para ajustar el angulo de canal de un mecanismo de transporte de cinta transportadora y para corregir automaticamente la acumulacion en la cinta transportadora a lo largo de los lados de la cinta transportadora durante la operacion de la cinta. El aparato y el metodo estan dirigidos a un ensamblaje de rodillos de soporte que pivotea a traves de un punto alto sobre un marco de base. El ensamblaje de rodillos de soporte incluye un puntal de base horizontal y puntales laterales en angulo en cada lado del puntal de base. Montados de forma giratoria sobre el puntal de base horizontal hay un par de rodillos centrados paralelos que rodean un punto de pivote situado centralmente. Montado de manera giratoria en cada puntal lateral en angulo esta un rodillo lateral de forma conica respectivo en el que un extremo inferior del rodillo lateral permanece a una distancia fija del elemento lateral, mientras que la distancia entre el extremo superior y el puntal lateral en angulo es ajustable mediante una barra roscada utilizando tuercas de seguridad para fijar de forma liberable los rodillos laterales en angulo a un angulo deseado. Durante la operacion de la cinta, si se produce acumulacion en la cinta transportadora, el ensamblaje de rodillos de soporte pivotea automaticamente para corregir y volver a centrar la cinta sobre los rodillos centrales paralelos
