Abstract
Un metodo para extraer y separar elementos de tierras raras que comprende proporcionar un mineral o cola que contiene tierras raras, triturar el mineral que contiene tierras raras para formar mineral en polvo; lixiviar el mineral en polvo con al menos un acido mineral, formar una solucion de lixiviacion que comprende al menos un ion metalico, elementos de tierras raras y un material solido, separar el material solido de la so lucion de lixiviacion para formar el concentrado acuoso de metales, precipitar el concentrado acuoso de metales para eliminar selectivamente el ion metalico de la so lucion de lixiviacion y obtener un precipitado de elementos de tierras raras; calentar el precipitado de elementos de tierras raras en aire para formar oxido de elementos de tierras raras, mezclar el oxido de elementos de tierras raras con una sal de amonio y calentar en aire seco/nitrogeno, formar una mezcla de sales anhidras de tierras raras en una solucion acuosa y separar los elementos de tierras raras de la so lucion acuosa por medio de un proceso de electroextraccion
