Abstract
La presente invencion describe un procedimiento de generacion de gemelos homocigoticos por biparticion embrionaria sin el uso de micromanipuladores. Los embriones utilizados fueron en estado de morula los cuales fueron divididos manualmente con microcuchilla en un medio de manipulacion. Luego de la division, los embriones fueron transferidos a un medio de cultivo, para ser luego transferidos a un mamifero receptor. La produccion artificial de gemelos homocigoticos puede realizarse aun en condiciones de campo a partir de embriones en estadio de morulaThe present invention describes a method of generating homozygous twins by embryonic bipartition without the use of micromanipulators. The embryos used were in morula state which were divided manually with a microblade in a manipulation medium. After division, the embryos were transferred to a culture medium, to be later transferred to a recipient mammal. The artificial production of homozygous twins can be carried out even under field conditions from embryos in the morula stage
