Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a composiciones farmaceuticas que contienen dos principios activos siendo uno de ellos un analgesico antiinflamatorio no esteroideo conocido como meloxicam o una de sus sales farmaceuticamente aceptables y el otro un analgesico antiinflamatorio no esteroideo conocido como clonixinato de lisina. Cuando se combinan ambos farmacos en proporciones especificas, la combinacion produce efectos farmacologicos de analgesia que indican una super-aditividad (sinergia) asi como una potenciacion del efecto antiinflamatorio, por lo que es posible usar menos cantidad de ambos farmacos para lograr los mismos efectos terapeuticos que cuando se usan solos. Al disminuir la cantidad de cada farmaco en la combinacion, los efectos colaterales asociados con cada uno de ellos se reducen en numero y en grado, por lo tanto esta estrategia terapeutica puede ser una herramienta promisoria en el alivio del dolor agudo moderado a severo con la ventaja de tener menos efectos adversosThe present invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing two active principles, one of them being a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory analgesic known as meloxicam or one of its pharmaceutically acceptable salts and the other a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory analgesic known as lysine clonixinate.
