Abstract
La presente solicitud proporciona, entre otros, anticuerpos o fragmentos de union a antigeno de los mismos, dirigidos al GRP78 de superficie celular expresado en celulas tumorales, celulas tumorales endoteliales y celulas cancerosas en estadio inicial. Estos anticuerpos anti GRP78 y fragmentos de union a antigeno de los mismos tienen una alta afinidad por GRP78 y son menos inmunogenicos en comparacion a sus anticuerpos parentales no modificados en una especie determinada, por ejemplo la humana y funcionan para inhibir GRP78. De forma relevante, estos nuevos anticuerpos aislados y fragmentos de union a antigeno de los mismos atenuan la senalizacion P13K y promueven la apoptosis en celulas tumorales, mientras que al mismo tiempo no afectan a las celulas normales. Estos anticuerpos y fragmentos de union a antigeno de los mismos son utiles para tratamientos terapeuticos para el cancer dirigidos a UPR
