Abstract
Se divulga un sistema de Agente de Control Biologico (BCA) que comprende momias de cochinillas harinosas parasitadas procesadas. Las momias de cochinillas harinosas parasitadas modificadas y procesadas estan esencialmente desprovistas de sus extremidades y del recubrimiento ceroso. En el nuevo sistema de BCA, las momias de cochinillas harinosas parasitadas modificadas se procesan de manera que se retira su recubrimiento ceroso y se extraen sus extremidades sin impactar en su viabilidad como anfitrion para las pupas del parasitoide. Las momias de cochinillas harinosas parasitadas modificadas del sistema de BCA se colocan en empaques especialmente adaptados para entregar y distribuir las momias de cochinillas harinosas parasitadas modificadas a las plantas con infestaciones de cochinillas harinosas. Tambien se presenta un metodo para preparar y almacenar las momias de cochinillas harinosas parasitadas procesadas como un BCA
