QUE COMPRENDE: a) LIXIVIAR UN METAL, DE PREFERENCIA METAL PRECIOSO, CON UNA SOLUCION DE TIOSULFATO; b) RECUPERAR LOS METALES LIXIVIADOS MEDIANTE INTERCAMBIO IONICO CON UNA RESINA DE INTERCAMBIO IONICO CON BASE FUERTE DE PREFERENCIA; Y, c) ELUIR LA RESINA CON UN SISTEMA ELUYENTE QUE CONTIENE: i) UN PRIMER COMPONENTE DE SULFITO QUE INCLUYE UN ION DE SULFITO (SULFITO DE SODIO) Y/O BISULFITO, O HIDROSULFITO; Y, ii) UN SEGUNDO COMPONENTE ELUYENTE COMPRENDIENDO CUALQUIER ESPECIE QUE PROMUEVA EL INTERCAMBIO IONICO O DESORCION DE UNA ESPECIE METALICA PROVENIENTE DE LA RESINA DURANTE LA ELUSION, TAL COMO UNA ESPECIE IONICA SELECCIONADA DE HALURO (CLORURO DE SODIO), NITRATO (NITRATO DE AMONIO), POLITIONATO (POLITRIONATO CON LA PRESENCIA DE SULFITO REDUCIENDO LA FORMACION DE TETRATIONATO) Y ESPECIES ANIONICAS DE TIOCIANATO. LA CONCENTRACION DE SULFITO EN EL SISTEMA ELUYENTE ES ENTRE 0,05 M Y 1 M, Y LA CONCENTRACION COMBINADA DE SULFITO Y BISULFITO ES ENTRE 0,5 M Y 2M; Y EL pH DEL SISTEMA ELUYENTE ES MANTENIDO ENTRE 4,5 Y 8WHICH INCLUDES: a) LEACHING A METAL, OF PREFERENCE PRECIOUS METAL, WITH A THOSULFATE SOLUTION; b) RECOVER LEAKED METALS THROUGH IONIC EXCHANGE WITH AN ION EXCHANGE RESIN WITH STRONG BASE OF PREFERENCE; AND, c) ELUTE THE RESIN WITH AN ELUENT SYSTEM THAT CONTAINS: i) A FIRST SULPHITE COMPONENT THAT INCLUDES A SULPHITE ION (SODIUM SULPHITE) AND / OR BISULPHITE, OR HYDROSULPHITE; AND, ii) A SECOND ELUENT COMPONENT, INCLUDING ANY SPECIES THAT PROMOTES THE ION EXCHANGE OR DESORPTION OF A METALLIC SPECIES COMING FROM THE RESIN DURING ELUSION, SUCH AS A SELECTED IONIC SPECIES OF HALIDE () AMMONIUM NITHATE () SODIUM NITATE CHLORIDE , POLYTHIONATE (POLYTHRIONATE WITH THE PRESENCE OF SULPHITE REDUCING THE FORMATION OF TETRATHIONATE) AND ANIONIC SPECIES OF THIOCYANATE. THE CONCENTRATION OF SULPHITE IN THE ELUENT SYSTEM IS BETWEEN 0.05 M AND 1 M, AND THE COMBINED CONCENTRATION OF SULPHITE AND BISULPHITE IS BETWEEN 0.5 M AND 2M; AND THE pH OF THE ELUYENT SYSTEM IS MAINTAINED BETWEEN 4.5 AND 8
