DONDE LA COMPOSICION COMPRENDE: a) UN ACEITE BASE NATURAL Y/O SINTETICO, TAL COMO ACEITE COMBUSTIBLE O LUBRICANTE; Y, b) COMO SUSTANCIA MARCADORA UN NIVEL DETECTABLE DE UNO O MAS COMPUESTOS DE FORMULA (A) EN DONDE: R1-R9 SON IGUALES O DIFERENTES Y SE ELIGEN INDEPENDIENTEMENTE DE H, ALQUILO C1-C15 Y OTROS GRUPOS NO CONJUGADOS; R10 SE ELIGE DE H Y ALQUILO C1-C15; Y R11 ES UN GRUPO CONJUGADO. EL METODO INCLUYE PONER EN CONTACTO DICHA COMPOSICION DE ACEITE CON UNA TIRA DE ENSAYO QUE CONTIENE UN COMPUESTO ACIDO COLOCADO SOBRE LA MISMA, DE MODO QUE LA SUSTANCIA MARCADORA PRODUCE UNA REACCION DE COLOR AL HACER CONTACTO CON DICHA TIRA. EL COMPUESTO ACIDO SE SELECCIONA DE ACIDO TRICLOROACETICO, ACIDO CLORHIDRICO, ACIDO SULFURICO, ACIDO 4-DODECILBENCENOSULFONICO, ACIDO PICRICO Y ACIDO BENCENOSULFONICOWHERE THE COMPOSITION INCLUDES: a) A NATURAL AND / OR SYNTHETIC BASE OIL, SUCH AS COMBUSTIBLE OIL OR LUBRICANT; AND, b) AS A MARKER SUBSTANCE, A DETECTABLE LEVEL OF ONE OR MORE COMPOUNDS OF FORMULA (A) WHERE: R1-R9 ARE THE SAME OR DIFFERENT AND ARE CHOSEN INDEPENDENTLY OF H, C1-C15 ALKYL AND OTHER NON-CONJUGATED GROUPS; R10 IS CHOSEN FROM H AND C1-C15 ALKYL; AND R11 IS A CONJUGATED GROUP. THE METHOD INCLUDES CONTACTING SAID OIL COMPOSITION WITH A TEST STRIP CONTAINING AN ACID COMPOUND PLACED ON IT, SO THAT THE MARKER SUBSTANCE PRODUCES A COLOR REACTION ON CONTACT WITH SUCH STRIP. THE ACID COMPOUND IS SELECTED FROM TRICHLOROACETIC ACID, HYDROCHLORIC ACID, SULFURIC ACID, 4-DODECILBENZENOSULPHONIC ACID, PICRIC ACID AND BENZENOSULPHONIC ACID
