Abstract

Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

The invention relates to bottle stoppers, namely bottle stoppers, which can withstand the high pressure of carbon dioxide contained in the bottle, in particular, the pressure of a strongly carbonated drink, namely, the pressure of champagne or sparkling wine.

STATE OF THE ART

The global market for sparkling and sparkling wines is developed and already exceeds 2 billion bottles per year, produced in more than 50 countries. One of the main and particularly important aspects is the correct and safe sealing of this type of bottle.

At present, two main sealing methods are used for corking sparkling wines - corking with a cork oak bark cork and corking with a mushroom-shaped plastic cork. Both methods are designed to withstand the high pressure of carbon dioxide in the drink. However, for reliable fixation of such plugs, additional use of wire fastening ("muselet") is required.

Current polymer champagne corks, made according to the latest technology, do not yield, and are superior to bark corks in many of their physical and mechanical properties.

Sparkling wines on the market are subject to various and specific requirements, the most important of which are: uniformity of wine characteristics (sealing, aging, behavior after uncorking and retention of organoleptic properties), market acceptability (standard appearance of the mushroom-shaped cork), as well as high quality that meets the price.

A known stopper for bottles of champagne or other carbonated liquids, made as a cylindrical body of polymeric material with annular projections on the outer surface of the body and with a closed flange having a flanged buffer region which is adapted to the neck of the bottle, characterized by the fact that the inner surface of the body is made of rigidity edges (Application RU 95116768/13, 28.09.1995, ONLY B65D 39/00). The disadvantage of the known solution is that the production of the hermetic plug shell requires the use of a press mold of complex design.

For example, a reusable cap for glass bottles intended to hold a strongly carbonated drink (champagne) is known (DE 3732112, TIK B65D 39/00, 1984.03.29). The known cap is made in one piece of plastic, has a thread on the inside, which is designed to screw onto a corresponding connecting thread located on the neck of the bottle. An elongated flange is made inside the cap to fit inside the neck of the bottle, which serves as a stopper. In the inner part of the cork, around the flange, an annular protrusion is made, which, together with the flange, is intended for sealing the internal space of the bottle.

The disadvantage of this cork is the insufficient reliability of its fixation on the bottle, when the pressure inside the bottle increases due to the release of carbon dioxide during shaking, which can cause the cork to suddenly shoot out of the bottle.

A reusable snow cap for champagne bottles is known from the prior art (EP0079552, TIK B65D 41/04, publ. 1983.05.25). This cap differs from the above cap in that it has additional radial protrusions on the outer side of the flange, which are designed for increased pressure resistance. However, there is no protrusion at the base of the flange, which reduces the above-mentioned cap property. In this way, the disadvantage of the described cap is also its unreliable fixation on the bottle when the internal pressure rises due to the release of carbon dioxide when shaking the drink. In addition, the use of such caps requires the use of special bottles with a screw crown, which prevents the use of domestically produced bottles for sparkling wines.

The closest analogue in terms of technical essence, compared to the claim, is the cork of bottles of champagne and other carbonated liquids, made as a hollow cylinder with sealing rings in the sealing part of the cork and the head of the outer shell, which has a groove running along the profile of the crown of the bottle, where the cylinder inlet flange has a hemispherical shape ( RU 189699, ONLY B67B, 30.11.1966). The disadvantage of this stopper is the unreliable fixation in the bottle, this stopper requires additional fastening, as well as the technological possibilities for sealing highly carbonated liquids are small.

The task of the invention

In view of the prior art, the object of the invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art. Additionally, it is preferred that the sealing portion of the stopper be less rigid than the outer shell, as the sealing portion must conform to the neck of the bottle for a perfect seal, while the outer shell must rigidly fix the stopper on the bottle and be resistant in itself.

Technical result

The technical result to be achieved by the invention is the increased reliability of the device operation, which ensures hermetic sealing due to the reliable retention of the cork, increases the degree of fixation of the outer shell on the sealing part, which prevents the outer shell of the cork from twisting when pulling the cork from the neck of the bottle.

ESSENCE OF THE INVENTION

The mentioned technical result is achieved when the bottle stopper includes a sealing sleeve installed in the neck of the bottle and an outer shell installed on the sealing sleeve, where the sealing sleeve and the outer shell are made as separate parts from polymeric materials and mutually fixed in the axial and radial directions.

Optimally, the sealing sleeve 1 and the outer shell 4 are made in different colors.

It is better when the sealing sleeve 1 and the outer shell 4 are made of polymer materials with different elasticity and stiffness indicators.

It is better when the inner surface of the outer shell 4 is provided with appropriate fixing means such as fixing vertical ribs 10, which are in interaction with the axial edges 6 of the sealing sleeve 1, and an annular support is made, which is in interaction with the annular groove 7 of the sealing sleeve 1.

It is better if the outer shell is transparent.

DESCRIPTION OF IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INVENTION

The bottle stopper includes a sealing sleeve 1 with annular sealing edges 2, a lower flange 3, an outer shell 4, which has a groove 5 running along the crown of the bottle. The outer surface of the upper part of the sealing sleeve 1 has axial protrusions 9 that interact with corresponding vertical edges 10 of the outer shell 4 to fix the plug in the radial direction. On the outer side surface of the sealing sleeve 1, fixing means are made in the form of axial ribs 6, with an annular groove 7 located between them. The inner surface of the shell 4 includes an annular support 8, located in front of the groove 7, which, under the action of force, engages with the upper support of the axial ribs 6, preventing for details to disconnect during bottle opening. In addition, the sealing sleeve 1 includes an annular wall 11 and stiffening ribs 12, and the outer shell 4 is made with an inner wall annular protrusion 13, which closely contacts the inner surface of the wall and rests against the stiffening ribs 12, thus preventing the wall annular protrusion 13 from being compressed, under the action of the force of the ring support 8 when the cork is removed from the neck of the bottle. Said locking means between the sealing sleeve 1 and the outer shell 4 ensure reliable fastening between said parts in the axial and radial direction when pulling the cork, since the outer shell 4 cannot twist when pulling the cork from the neck of the bottle.

The sealing sleeve 1 and the outer shell 4 are made of polymeric materials, where the selected materials may have different elasticity and stiffness properties. For example, the sealing sleeve 1 may be made of a softer polymeric material such as low-density polyethylene, etc., because the sealing portion must conform to the neck of the bottle for perfect sealing, but the outer shell 4 may be made of a stiffer polymeric material such as polyethylene or polycarbonate , because it has to fix the stopper rigidly in the neck of the bottle and, therefore, it must not give way.

The stopper is made of high-quality food-grade polymer materials resistant to alcoholic media. The aforementioned stopper can be used for sealing bottles of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, both carbonated (champagne, sparkling wines, etc.) and non-carbonated ("still" wines, etc.).

The outer casing 4 and the sealing sleeve 1 can be produced in various different colors, if the customer so wishes. The outer shell 4 can also be made of a transparent polymer material.

The parts are produced by pressure casting.

The outer shell 4 and the sealing sleeve 1 are assembled by locking (clicking), ensuring reliable fastening due to the locking means between the parts.

During bottle capping, the sealing sleeve 1 is axially pressed into the bottle neck until its crown rests against the groove 5 of the outer shell 4. At this time, the annular protrusions 2 on the outer surface of the sealing sleeve 1 come into close contact with the inner surface of the bottle neck due to the gas pressure on the lower flange 3, which allows maintaining a high carbon dioxide pressure of the drink and increases the reliability of the sealing of the internal space of the bottle.

A plug according to claim 1, characterized in that the inner surface of the outer shell (4) is provided with corresponding locking means in the form of corresponding vertical ribs (10) in interaction with the axial ribs (6) of the sealing sleeve (1) and an annular projection (13 ), located in interaction with the annular groove (7) of the sealing sleeve (1). 6.
