Abstract

The present invention relates to a cell access method for acquiring initial synchronization using two pilot channels in a quasi-synchronous code division multiple access (CDMA) system, A first step in which a base station controller transmits a synchronization signal to the plurality of base stations in order to provide a cell access method using two pilot channels in order to acquire a fast initial synchronization while allowing the base station controller to perform fast initial synchronization; A second step of the mobile station establishing synchronization with a cluster pilot using one of the two pilot channels; And a third step of establishing synchronization with a cell pilot using another channel among the two pilot channels through the predetermined cluster synchronization channel, so that the mobile station does not need to use expensive equipment such as GPS, It is possible to use the system in an indoor or underground environment where GPS can not be used, and to operate independently from an external system such as GPS.
