Abstract
본 발명은 준동기 방식으로 동작하는 코드 분할 다중 접속 시스템(CDMA)에서 두개의 파일럿 채널을 사용하여 초기 동기를 획득하는 셀 접속 방법에 관한 것으로, 기지국 구분용으로 다수의 시퀀스를 사용하여 간단한 셀 계획이 가능하도록 하면서도 빠른 초기 동기를 획득하기 위하여 두개의 파일럿 채널을 사용하는 셀 접속 방법을 제공하기 위하여, 기지국 제어기가 상기 다수의 기지국에 동기 신호를 전송하는 제1단계; 이동국은 두 개의 파일럿 채널 중 하나의 채널을 사용하는 클러스터 파일럿에 동기를 설정하는 제2단계; 및 상기 이동국은 기설정된 상기 클러스터 동기 채널을 통하여 상기 두개의 파일럿 채널중 다른 하나의 채널을 사용하는 셀 파일럿에 동기를 설정하는 제3단계를 포함하여 GPS와 같은 고가 장비를 사용하지 않아도 되므로 기지국 설치 비용을 줄일수 있고,GPS를 사용할 수 없는 실내나 지하 환경에서도 사용이 가능하고, GPS등의 외부 시스템과 독립적으로 운용할 수 있는 효과가 있다.The present invention relates to a cell access method for acquiring initial synchronization using two pilot channels in a quasi-synchronous code division multiple access (CDMA) system, A first step in which a base station controller transmits a synchronization signal to the plurality of base stations in order to provide a cell access method using two pilot channels in order to acquire a fast initial synchronization while allowing the base station controller to perform fast initial synchronization; A second step of the mobile station establishing synchronization with a cluster pilot using one of the two pilot channels; And a third step of establishing synchronization with a cell pilot using another channel among the two pilot channels through the predetermined cluster synchronization channel, so that the mobile station does not need to use expensive equipment such as GPS, It is possible to use the system in an indoor or underground environment where GPS can not be used, and to operate independently from an external system such as GPS.
