Description
Claims (7)
- 투명한 제1및 제2의 기판이 액정을 사이에 끼워서 상호 평행으로 배치되고, 상기 제1기판의 안쪽면에는 매트릭스배열된 표시화소와, 각각의 상기 표시화소에 접속된 박막트랜지스터와, 각열의 상기 박막트랜지스터의 소오스에 접속되고, 구동전압을 그들 박막트랜지스터에 공급하기 위한 소오스선과, 각 행(行)의 상기 박막트랜지스터의 게이트에 접속되어 그들을 ON·OFF제어하는 게이트신호를 공급하기 위한 게이트선이 배설되고, 상기 제2기판의 안쪽면에는 모든 상기 표시화소와 공통해서 대향하는 투명한 공통전극이 설치되어 있는 계조액정표시패널에 있어서, 각 상기 표시화소는, 상기 제1기판상에 형성된 투명한 절연층과, 상기 절연층의 한쪽면위에 서로 갭을 두어서 형성된 적어도 2개의 표시화소전극과, 상기 절연층의 다른 쪽면위에 설치되고, 상기 갭의 거의 전체영역 및 상기 적어도 2개의 부화소전극의 각각 미리 결정된 영역과 각각 오버랩하는 적어도 1개의 제어콘덴서전극, 상기 제어콘덴서전극과 상기 박막트랜지스터의 드레인전극은 상기 2개의 부화소전극의 한쪽에 접속되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 계조액정표시패널.
- 제1항에 있어서, 각 상기 표시화소에 대응하는 상기 박막트랜지스터의 상기 드레인전극은 상기 절연층의 상기 적어도 2개의 부화소전극과 동일한 쪽의 면에 형성되고, 상기 드레인전극은 상기 한쪽의 부화소전극에 직접접속되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 계조액정표시패널.
- 제1항에 있어서, 각 상기 표시화소에 대응하는 상기 박막트랜지스터의 상기 드레인전극은 상기 절연층의 상기 적어도 2개의 부화소전극과 반대쪽의 면에 형성되고, 상기 드레인전극은 상기 절연층에 형성된 콘택트홀을 통과해서 상기 한쪽의 부화소전극에 접속되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 계조액정표시패널.
- 제1항에 있어서, 각각의 상기 표시화소의 상기 박막트랜지스터는 상기 제1기판의 거의 전체면에 걸쳐서 형성된 상기 절연층을 각각 게이트절연층으로서 공유하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 계조액정표시패널.
- 제1항에 있어서, 각 상기 표시화소의 상기 부화소전극은 상기 절연층의 상기 제1기판쪽면에 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 계조액정표시패널.
- 제1항에 있어서, 각 상기 표시화소의 상기 제어콘덴서전극은 상기 절연층의 상기 제1기판쪽면에 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 계조액정표시패널.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 절연층의 상기 제어콘덴서전극과 동일한 쪽면에 상기 제어콘덴서전극과 간격을 두어서 또 1개의 제어콘덴서전극이 형성되고, 상기 또 1개의 제어콘덴서전극은 상기 2개의 부화소전극의 다른쪽과 소정의 면적에서 오버랩하는 영역을 가지고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 계조액정표시패널.
