본 발명은 음식 폐기물을 처리하는 방법에 관한 것인데 보다 구체적인 특징은 폐기된 음식물을 미분쇄하여 마이크로 웨이브 유전가열장치가 설비된 처리실에 투입하여 전자파를 이용하여 가열건조시키고 살균처리하므로서 가축사료를 비롯하여 재활용 가치가 높도록 한 처리방법에 관한 것이다.
종래에는 음식 폐기물을 분쇄하여 발효시키거나 건소시켜서 사료나 비료를 만드는 방법에 소개된 바 있다. 그러나 종래의 방식은 막대한 설비가 필요하게되고 부대 장치가 많이 소요되는 반면에 완전 살균처리가 되지 않아 처리물이 쉽게 부폐하는 이유 등으로 활용가치가 매우 떨어지는 불편이 있었다.
본 발명은 위와 같은 종래의 결점을 시정하기 위하여 개발한 것으로 음식 폐기물을 미분하여 처리실에 넣고 마이크로 웨이브 유전가열방식으로 가열 처리하므로서 신속한 건조와 완전한 살균이 가능케 되는 것인데 이를 보다 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다.
음식 폐기물을 수거하여 분쇄가능한 것과 그렇지 못한 것으로 분류하고 분쇄가능한 것만을 취선하여 미분쇄 장치에 투입하여 분쇄시키고 분쇄된 음식 폐기물은 제 3 도에 표시한 바와 같은 처리실(301)에 투입하여 전자파 에너지로 가열처리케 되는데 본 발명의 처리실(3)에는 전자파를 통과시키는 재질로 만들어진 콘베어벨트(4)가 투입구에서 배출구 사이에 다단으로 지그재그 형태로 배치되어 있고 상부에 마이크로 웨이브 발생장치(8)와 도파관으로 연결된 마이크로 웨이브 복사혼(802)이 설치되어 처리실에 마그네트론 주파수 2.45GHz의 전자파를 복하하도록 장치되며 처리실 주벽으로 증기 배출처리용 배기닥트(302)가 장치되어 있고 처리실 하부에는 일측으로 배출관(5)이 설치되어 이송스크류(6)가 장치되어 있다.
이와 같이 구성된 본 발명은 미분쇄된 음식 폐기물이 처리실에 투입되면 콘베어 벨트를 따라 이동하는 동안에 마이크로 웨이브 발생장치에서 발생되어 복사되는 전자파 에너지가 음식 폐기물에 접촉되어 유전가열방식에 의한 가열 작용이 일어나 가열처리되므로 수분이 증발하면서 건조되게 되면서 살균이 성취되게 되므로 수분은 배기 닥트로 강제처리되고 건조된 폐기물이 배출관으로 처리되는 것이다.
이렇게 처리된 폐기물은 살균되어서 변질이 쉽게 되지 않아 가축사료 등으로 유용하게 활용될 수 있고 폐기물을 자원으로 활용할 수 있는 유익한 이점을 얻을 수 있으며 폐기물의 발생량도 현저히 줄일 수 있는 이점도 얻는 것이다.

Claims (1)

  1. 음식 폐기물을 선별하여 미분쇄하고 이것을 마이크로 웨이브 발생장치(8)(801)(802)가 시설되어 전자파 에너지를 공급할 수 있고 피처리물을 이동시키는 콘베어 벨트(4)와 같은 이송수단과 배기닥트(302) 및 배출장치가 구비된 전자파 처리실(301)에 투입하여 마그네트론 주파수 2.45GHz로 상압하에서 일정시간 처리함을 특징으로 하는 음식 폐기물의 처리방법.
