Description
Claims (11)
- (a) 고체 불균일 수소화 촉매의 장입물(charge)을 각각 함유하는, 직렬로 연결된 제1 및 제 2 수소화 영역을 포함하는 수소화 장치를 제공하고, (b) (i) 수소 함유 가스 및 (ii) 혼화성 희석제중에 용해된 불포화 유기 화합물을 함유하는 액상을 제 1 수소화 영역의 상부에 연속적으로 공급하고, (c) 제 1 수소화 영역을 수소화시키기 위한 온도 및 압력 조건하에 유지시키고, (d) 액상을 제 1 수소화 영역을 통하여 하부로 통과시키고, (e) 제 1 수소화 영역의 하부로부터 중간 반응 생성물을 연속적으로 회수하고, (f) 제 1 수소화 영역의 하부로부터 가스상 유출물을 회수하고, (g) 단계 (e)로부터 액체 형태의 중간 반응 생성물을 제 2 수소화 영역의 상부에 공급하고, (h) 제 2 수소화 영역을 수소화시키기 위한 온도 및 압력 조건하에 유지시키고, (i) 중간 액체 반응 생성물을 제 2 수소화 영역을 통해 하부로 통과시키고, (j) 수소 함유 공급 가스를 제 2 수소화 영역의 상부에 공급하고, (k) 제 2 수소화 영역의 하부로부터 가스상 유출물 스트림을 회수하고, (l) 단계(k)로부터의 가스상 유출물 스트림 물질을 공급하여 단계(b)의 수소 함유 가스를 형성시키고, (m) 제 2 수소화 영역의 하부로부터 스트림을 함유하는 액체 수소화 생성물을 회수하며, (n) 수소화 장치로부터 단계(f)의 가스상 유출물 스트림 물질을 퍼징(purging)시킴을 포함하여, 불포화 유기 화합물을 상응하는 수소화 생성물로 연속적으로 수소화 시키는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 단계(j)의 수소 함유 공급가가 다몰량의 수소 및 소몰량의 하나 이상의 불활성 가스를 함유하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 혼화성 희석제가 수소화 생성물을 함유하는 방법.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 불포화 유기 화합물과 혼합시키기 위한 단계(m)의 액체 수소화 생성물 스트림 일부를 재순환시켜 단계(b)의 액상(ii)을 형성시키는 추가의 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 불포화 유기 화합물이 알데히드이고, 수소화 생성물이 알콜인 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 알데히드가 n-부티르알데히드이고, 알콜이 n-부탄올인 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 알데히드의 탄소수가 약 7 내지 약 17인 방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 알데히드가 2-에틸헥스-2-에날이고, 알콜이 2-에틸헥산올인 방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 알데히드가 2-프로필헵트-2-에날이고, 알콜이 2-프로필헵탄올인 방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 알데히드가 운데카날이고, 알콜이 운데칸올인 방법.
- 제 6 항 내지 제10항중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 제 1 수소화 영역에 대한 입구 온도가 약 90℃ 내지 약 220℃의 범위이고, 압력이 약 5 내지 약 50바아의 범위인 방법.
