Claims (11)
- 환원성 가스가 통과하는 석탄층으로 이루어진 환원영역에서 금속 산화물을 환원시킴으로써 금속 및 금속합금을 회수하는 방법으로서, 환원된 액상의 용해금속 및 용해 슬래그를 덮는 탈가스 석탄층인 하부 정적층, 중간 정적층 및 상부 정적층으로 구성된 3개의 정적 석탄층을 제공하는 낟계와, 일산화탄소(CO)로 이루어진 고온의 환원성 가스를 형성하기 위해서 상기 중간 정적층내로 산소와 산소함유가스중 어느 하나의 가스를 도입하는 단계와, 산소와 산소함유 가스중 어느 하나의 가스 및 탄소 입자들의 연소가스를 상기 상부 정적층내로 도입하는 단계와, 그리고 환원된 액상의 용해금속 및 용해 슬래그를 형성하도록 상기 중간 정적층내로 산소와 산소함유가스중 어느 하나의 가스를 도입하는 높이 윗쪽으로 소정의 거리만큼 떨어진 위치에서 미세입자의 산화물 장입재를 도입하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 미세입자의 산화물 장입재가 최대 6mm의 결정입도를 가지는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 3개의 정적 석탄층이, 5 내지 100mm의 결정입도를 갖는 석탄으로 형성되는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 석탄이 5 내지 30mm의 결정입도를 갖는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 중간 정적층 및 상기 상부 정적층의 두께가 1 내지 4m의 범위에서 유지되는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 중간 정적층과 상기 상부 정적층에서 형성된 폐가스가 상기 환원영역을 구성하는 상기 중간 정적층과 상기 상부 정적층을 통과하여 외부로 배출되는 단계와, 상기 폐가스로 부터 분진상의 탄소입자들을 분리시키는 단계와, 산소와 산소함유가스중 어느 하나의 가스와 함께 상기 탄소입자들을 상기 상부 적정층을 지향하고 있는 버어너로 공급하는 단계를 더 포함하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 분리된 상기 탄소입자들은 고온상태로 상기 버어너로 도입되는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 탄소입자로 부터 제거된 폐가스를 미세입자의 산화물 장입재용 운반매체로서 사용하는 단계를 더 포함하는 방법.
- 환원성 가스가 통과하는 석탄층으로 이루어진 환원영역에서 금속 산화물을 환원시킴으로써 금속 및 금속합금을 회수하는 장치로서, 환원된 액상의 용해금속(3)과 용해 슬래그(4)를 덮는 탈가스 석탄층인 하부 정적층(A), 중간 정적층(B) 및 상부 정적층(C)으로 이루어진 3개의 중첩된 정적 석탄층이 내부에 형성되어 있고, 괴상의 석탄장입용 장입구(7), 일산화탄소(CO)로 이루어진 고온의 환원성 가스를 형성하기 위하여 산소와 산소함유 가스중 어느 하나의 가스를 도입하도록 상기 하부 정적층(A)과 상기 중간 정적(B) 사이에 링 형태로 배치된 취입관(8), 미세입자의 산화물 장입재를 도입하도록 상기 취입관(8)으로 부터 소정의 거리만큼 윗쪽으로 떨어져서 링 형태로 배치된 취입관(9), 및 산소와 산소함유가스중 어느 하나의 가스 및 탄소입자들을 도입하도록 상기 중간 정적층(C) 사이에 링 형태로 배치된 버어너(10)가 구비되어 있는 , 내화성 라이닝을 갖춘 직립로형 용해 가스 발생로(1)와, 상기 용해가스 발생로 (1)내에서 형성된 폐가스를 배출시키기 위하여 상기 용해 가스 발생로(1)의 상부로 부터 외부로 연장된 배출관(11)과, 그리고 산소와 산소함유 가스 중 어느 하나의 가스 및 탄소입자들을 상기 용해가스 발생로(1)내로 도입하기 위하여 상기 버어너(10)에 연결된 공급관(14,15)을 포함하는 장치.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 폐가스로 부터 탄소입자들을 분리하기 위하여 상기 가스배출관에 제공되고 배출단부를 갖추고 있는 고온 사이클론 및, 상기 고온 사이클론의 상기 배출단부와 상기 버어너를 유체연결시키는 수단을 포함하는 장치.
- 제10항에 있어서, 배출단부를 갖춘 추가의 고온 사이클론과, 상기 고온 사이클론과 상기 추가의 고온 사이클론을 유체 연결시키는 연결관과, 상기 연결관으로 들어오는, 산화물 장입재용 장입수단과, 그리고 상기 추가의 고온 사이클론의 상기 배출단부와 미세입자의 산화물 장입재용 취입관을 연결시키는 운반관을 더 포함하는 장치.
