Abstract

본 발명은 에어백 유니트에 관한것으로, 하우징(2) 및 덮개(3)를 포함하며, 하우징(2) 및 덮개(3)는 비교적 견고하며 2개의 구성요소를 포함하는 스냅조인트(snap joint)에 의해 상호연결되며, 그 구성요소들은 하우징(2) 및 덮개(3)에 의해 각각 지지된다. 그 구성요소들중 적어도 하나는 탄성을 지닌다. 제1구성요소중 적어도 하나의 지지부를 지니며, 타 구성요소는 그 지지부와 계합하는 수단을 지닌다. 탄성요소는 하우징(2)에 고정되거나 그 하우징과 일체로 형성된다.

Claims (12)

  1. 용기 또는 하우징 및 덮개를 포함하며, 상기 하우징 및 덮개는 비교적 견고하며, 상기 하우징 및 덮개는 스냅 조인트(snap joint)에 의해 상호 연결되며, 상기 스냅 조인트는 2개의 구성요소를 포함하며, 상기 구성요소들은 하우징 및 덮개에 의해 각각 지지되며, 상기 구성요소들중 적어도 하나는 탄성을 지니며, 상기 제1구성요소는 적어도 하나의 지지부를 지니며, 타 구성요소는 상기 지지부와 계합하는 수단을 지니며, 상기 적어도 하나의 탄성 구성요소는 하우징에 고정되거나 그 하우징과 일체로 형성되는 에어백 유니트(air-bag unit)
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 탄성요소는 하우징의 일부를 형성하는 내부 용기로부터 이격되며, 덮개와 일체로 형성된 요소는 내부용기와 탄성요소 사이에 배치되는 에어백 유니트.
  3. 제1항 또는 2항에 있어서, 상기 각각의 지지부는 상기 제1구성요소상에 형성된 돌출부상에 제공된 표면을 포함하는 에어백 유니트.
  4. 제1,2 또는 3항에 있어서, 접촉부와 계합하기 위한 수단은 상기 타구성요소에 형성된 구멍을 포함하는 에어백 유니트.
  5. 선행항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 지지부와 계합하는 수단을 지니는 구성요소는 탄성 구성요소인 에어백 유니트.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 덮개에 의해 지지되는 구성요소는 지지부를 지니며, 그요소에는 덮개가 하우징에 고정될때 초기위치로부터 탄성요소를 이동시키는 웨지(wedging)수단이 제공되는 에어백 유니트.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 웨지수단은 상기 제1구성요소상에 제공된 돌출부에 형성되는, 제2항에 종속되는 바와 같은 에어백 유니트.
  8. 선행항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 하우징 및 탄성요소는 금속으로 형성되는 에어백 유니트.
  9. 선행항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 덮개는 플라스틱 재료로 형성되는 에어백 유니트.
  10. 선행항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 덮개와 하우징은 리벳 또는 스크류등에 의해 상호 부가적으로 연결되는 에어백 유니트.
  11. 첨부도면을 참조로 본원에 설명되며 그 도면에 도시된 바와같은 에어백 유니트.
  12. 본원에 설명된 어떠한 신규한 부품 또는 그 부품들의 결합.
