Claims (3)
- 원자로내에서 수직방향으로 형성된 일군(一群)의 연료봉(frel rods)(5)로 구성되어 있고, 그 연료봉이 일정한 간격을 둔 줄(rows)로 배치되어 있으며 평행하게 형성되고 자유단(free ends)에 발사 및 수신용 초음파 탐상실험헤드(ultrasonic test head)(8)(9)를 각각 가진 두개의 프로브(probes)(6)를 구성하고, 물탱크내에 설치된 연료봉 조립체에 상대적으로 이동하며, 하나의 상기 수신용 초음파 발생실험헤드(8)이 그 초음파를 발산하고 그 다른 하나의 상기 수신용 초음파 탐상실험헤드(9)가 그 발산한 초음파를 받아들이는 상기 프로브를 가진 연료봉 조립체(2)의 크기를 체크하는 방법에 있어서, 상기 프로브(6)을 측면(side)에서 상기 연료봉(5) 사이의 갭(gaps)으로 삽입시키며, 상기 프로브(6)이 이동할때 초음파방사(irradiation)가 연속적으로 행하여지고, 발신용 상기 초음파 탐상헤드와 수신용 상기 초음파 탐상헤드 사이에 있는 수로(water path)와 관련있는 피이크(peak)의 높이 및/또는 폭을 사용하여 2개의 상기 연료봉(5) 사이의 간격을 측정하는 상기 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 필요로 하는 피이크(required peak)가 2개의 연료봉(5) 사이에 있는 필요로 하는 간격(spacing)과 관련을 가지며, 실제의 피이크(actual peak)가 그 필요로 하는 피이크와 대비되도록 함을 특징으로 한 상기 방법.
- 원자로내에서 수직방향으로 형성된 일군의 연료봉(fuel rods)(5)로 구성되어 있고, 그 연료봉이 일정한 간격을 둔 줄(rows)로 배치되어 있으며, 평행하게 형성되고 자유단(free ends)의 초음파 탐상실험헤드(ultrasonic test head)(8)(9)를 각각 가진 두개의 프로브(probes)(6)을 구성하고, 물탱크내에 설치된 연료봉 조립체에 상대적으로 이동하며, 하나의 상기 초음파 탐상실험헤드(8)이 그 초음파를 발산하고 그 다른 하나의 상기 초음파 탐상실험헤드(9)가 그 초음파를 받아들이는 상기 프로브를 가진 연료봉 조립체(2)의 크기를 첵크하는 방법에 있어서, 상기 브로브(6)을 그 측면에서 상기 연료봉(5) 사이의 갭으로 삽입시켜 각각의 경우 상기 연료봉의 한줄(a row)(27)의 적어도 하나의 연료봉(5)을 수용하며, 초음파방사(ultrasonic irradiation)는 상기 프로브가 이동할때 연속적으로 행하여지고, 워터시그널 감쇄(first water signal attenuation)의 위치 1을 기록하여 그 워터시그널 감쇄의 위치를 축방향으로 볼때 동일한 연료봉상에서 여러가지의 레벨로 결정하며, 접속선(connecting line)(26)은 그 결정된 위치사이에 있는 연료봉(5)의 측단면을 재현(reproduce)시킴을 특징으로 한 상기 방법.
