Claims (6)
- 부설중 받게 되는 탄성 응력을 견디고 회복하기에 충분한 탄성강도를 지니는 가닥(strand)들을 포함하며, 축방 배치되어 연장되는 꼬여진 부재(strand member); 상호간 주변 이격상태로 상기 꼬여진 부재 둘레에 나선형으로 감겨 상기 꼬여진 부재와 접촉하는 다수의 튜브; 상기 가닥들 사이의 공간을 포함하는 상기 꼬여진 부재내의 공간에 배치되어 그 공간을 채우는 비압축성 유체; 상기 각각의 튜브에 헐겁게 수용된 적어도 하나의 광섬유; 상기 튜브의 내측과 상기 광섬유 사이의 공간에 배치되어 그 공간을 채우는 비압축성 유체; 상기 튜브 및 상기 꼬여진 부재 둘레를 방수하며, 최내측이 상기 튜브 및 상기 꼬여진 부재와 접촉하며, 상기 튜브들 사이에 채워지며, 케이블 사용중 받게 되는 압축력을 견디기에 불충분한 압축저항을 지니는 플라스틱제 외장(sheath); 을 포함하며, 사용중 받게 되는 기계적 응력을 자체적으로 견딜 수 있는 상기 플라스틱제 외장의 외부에는 꼬여진 부재가 존재하지 않으며, 자체적으로 수압을 견딜 수 있는 광섬유(들)의 외부에는 상기 꼬여진 부재가 존재하지 않아 매설시 받게 되는 상기 수압을 견딜 수 있는 해저용 광섬유 케이블.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 꼬여진 부재는 상기 꼬여진 부재와의 사이에 어떠한 공간을 제거하도록 상기 꼬여진 부재 상부에 밀접하게 부착된 플라스틱 층을 지니며, 상기 튜브는 상기 플라스틱층의 외표면 둘레에 나선형으로 감겨 그 외표면과 접촉하는 해저용 광섬유 케이블.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 플라스틱제 외장은 폴리오레핀 및 지방족 폴리아미드로 구성된 그룹으로부터 선택되는 해저용 광섬유 케이블.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 꼬여진 부재는, 나선형으로 감긴 가닥의 층들에 의해 형성되며, 상기 인접하는 가닥의 층들은 마주하여 나선형으로 감겨지며, 상기 가닥들은 강, 지방족 폴리아미드 및 탄소 섬유로 구성된 그룹으로 부터 선택된 높은 인장응력 재료로 만들어지는 해저용 광섬유 케이블.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 꼬여진 부재는 상기 꼬여진 부재의 축방향으로 연장하는 전기 전도성 금속 요소를 포함하는 해저용 광섬유 케이블.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 전기 전도성 금속 요소는 구리와이어인 해저용 광섬유 케이블.
