Claims (10)
- 첨가제로서 희토류 산화물을 함유하는 UO2또는 UO2와 PuO2의 혼합물로부터의 출발분말을 단광으로 압분한 다음, 이 단광을 1500-1750℃ 범위의 온도에서 및 환원가스 분위기에서 소결하여 압축시킴으로써 산화핵연료 소결체를 제조하는 방법으로서, 소결온도에서의 유지시간이 1 내지 4시간 범위내에서 선정되고, 압분에 사용되는 출발분말이 (a) 4 내지 7㎡/g 범위의 비표면적 및 (b) 0.5㎛ 이하의 평균 결정직경중 하나 또는 2개의 특징을 갖는 UO2부분을 가지며, 5 내지 500중량ppm의 알루미늄 또는 5 내지 50중량ppm의 티탄을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 산화핵연료 소결체의 제조법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 5 내지 200중량ppm의 알루미늄을 함유한 출발분말이 압분에 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 산화핵연료 소결체의 제조법.
- 제1항에 있어서, UO2부분의 결정격자에 포함된 알루미늄 및 티탄이외의 다른 이물질의 함량이 200중량ppm 이하인 출발분말이 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 산화핵연료 소결체의 제조법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 분말의 원래입도가 변하지 않는 혼합단계에서, 산화물 또는 수산화물 분말형태의 알루미늄 또는 티탄을 출발분말에 첨가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 산화핵연료 소결체의 제조법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 첨가제로서 10중량% 이하의 희토류 산화물이 함유된 출발분말이 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 산화핵연료 소결체의 제조법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 첨가제로서 2 내지 10중량%의 희토류 산화물이 함유된 출발분말이 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 산화핵연료 소결체의 제조법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 첨가제로서 희토류 산화물이 10 내지 20중량% 함유된 출발분말이 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 산화핵연료 소결체의 제조법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 첨가제로서 Gd2O3를 함유하는 출발분말이 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 산화핵연료 소결체의 제조법.
- 제1항에 있어서, UO2부분의 평균결정직경이 0.2㎛ 내지 0.01㎛인 것을 특징으로 하는 산화핵연료 소결체의 제조법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 첨가제로서 4 내지 10중량%의 희토류 산화물을 함유하는 출발물질이 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 산화핵연료 소결체의 제조법.
