Claims (43)
- 무한한 길이와 제1면 및 제2면을 갖고 변형 온도 범위를 갖는 편평하고 변형 가능한 물질인 연속 웨브를 성형된 물질로 변형하는 방법에 있어서, 웨브의 길이 방향으로 이동하여 웨브를 길이 방향으로 운반하는, 성형 구조물의 성형면에 인접한 웨브의 제1면을 성형 구조물 위에 제공하는 단계와 웨브가 상기 성형면 쪽으로 변형되게 할 만큼 충분한 힘과 질량 흐름을 가져서 상기 웨브가 3차원 형상으로 변형될 수 있게 하는 액체 분류를 상기 웨브의 제2면에 가하는 단계 및, 상기 단계중 웨브 웨브가 변형 온도 범위 아래로 유지되도록 상기 웨브의 온도를 조절하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 연속 웨브를 성형된 물질로 변형하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 웨브는 용융 온도 범위가 있는 열가소성 필름을 포함하고, 상기 변형 온도 범위는 상기 필름의 용융 온도 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 열가소성 필름은 폴리에틸렌, 저밀도 폴리에틸렌, 선형 저밀도 폴리에틸렌, 폴리프로필렌 및 이 물질들을 함유하는 혼성 중합체와 혼합물로 구성된 그룹으로 부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 필름은 약 0.01㎜내지 약 0.04㎜의 두께를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제2항에 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 성형하기 전의 필름의 표면 외관과 기계적 성질들이 성형된 필름에도 실질적으로 보유되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 구멍내부에 측벽과 양끝을 갖는 함몰부들을 포함하고 상기 성형면 내부의 구멍으로 부터 대향면까지 개방되어 있는 모양진 성형면과 대향면을 갖는 성형 구조물을 사용하여 음각 및 천공된 물질의 웨브를 제조하는 방법으로서, 액체 분류는 상기 물질의 웨브에 기공을 생성하는 충분한 힘과 질량 흐름으로 웨브의 제2면에 가해지고, 상기 액체 분류의 적어도 일부가 상기 웨브의 기공과 상기 성형면의 구멍 및 상기 성형 구조물을 통해 흐르며, 상기 액체 분류는 상기 웨브가 함몰부 안으로 연장되게 하고 상기 웨브의 제1면이 함몰부의 측벽돌 쪽으로 가압되게 하는 충분한 힘과 질량 흐름을 가져서 천공된 돌기들이 상기 웨브에 성형되게 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 액체 분류가 구멍들을 통해 상기 성형 구조물안으로 흐르는 지역에 있는 성형구조물의 대향면 아래에 진공이 가해지는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제6항 또는 제7항에 있어서, 상기 성형면의 운동 방향에서 수직하게 볼 때, 액체 분류가 이동 방향에 설치되어 한 지점에서 상기 성혐면에 부딪쳐서, 액체 분류가 상기 성형면에 접근할 때의 상기 액체 분류의 이동 방향과 상기 액체 분류가 성형면에 부딪치는 상기 지점으로 부터의 상기 성형면의 운동방향 사이의 각도가 예각이 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 성형면은 약 4m/sec이상의 선형 속도로 웨브의 길이 방향으로 이동하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 웨브의 일부만이 성형되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 음각 및 천공된 웨브의 각 돌기들은 필름 제2면의 일부를 포함하는 내측면과 필름 제1면의 일부를 포함하는 외측면을 가지며, 성형전의 상기 필름은 제1면 및 제2면 중 적어도 한 면에 표면 거침을 나타내고, 상기 필름은 상기 음각 및 천공된 필름의 각 돌기 측벽의 내외면중 적어도 한 면의 일부분에 표면 거침을 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 편평한 물질의 제1면에 표면 거침을 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 성형면은 함몰부 사이에 표면이 거친 랜드 지역을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 액체 분류는 고압 분무 노즐로부터 웨브의 제2면에 가해지고, 액체는 적어도 약 350N/㎠(1000psig)의 압력에서 상기 분무 노즐로 공급되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.

- 제19항에 있어서, 상기 성형면의 구멍 내부에서 대향면까지 개방되어 있는 성형면은 구멍 내부에 측벽과 양끝을 가진 함몰부들을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제20항에 있어서, 상기 성형면은 함몰부 사이에 표면에 거친 랜드 지역을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제19항 내지 제21항에 있어서, 액체 분류를 가하는 수단은 고압 분무 노즐을 포하하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제22항에 있어서, 상기 노즐은 기계 횡단 방향으로 약 30°미만의 팬 각도를 가진 편평한 팬형 분무로 액체 분류를 제공하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제22항에 있어서, 상기 노즐은 성형면의 운동 방향에 수직하게 바라볼 때, 액체 분류가 이송 방향을 가지며, 상기 액체 분류의 이송 방향과 상기 성형면의 이동 방향 사이의 각도가 예각인 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제19항에 있어서, 상기 웨브의 온도 조절 수단은 액체 분류의 온도를 조절하는 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 최대 두께 T로 분리된 제1면과 제2면을 갖는 중합체 필름을 포함하는 음각 및 천공된 물질에 있어서, 상기 물질은 평면을 형성하는 상부면을 갖는 랜드 지역과 상기 필름의 제2면의 일부 및 상기 필름의 제1면의 일부를 포함하는 하부면으 포함하며, 상기 필름은 상기 랜드 지역의 상부 및 하부면중 적어도 하나의 면이 거칠고 천공된 돌기를 포함하며, 상기 각 돌기는, 상기 평면내에 위치하는, 직경 D의 원이 내접할 수 있는 단면적을 갖는 제1구멍과, 상기 평면 아래의 아주 멀리 떨어져 있는 제2구멍과, 상기 측벽의 내측면과 외측면 중 적어도 한 면이 상기 평면으로 부터의 평균 깊이가 적어도 약 L/4인 표면 거침을 나타내고 상기 제2구멍에 인접한 상기 측벽의 내외측면 양쪽의 표면이 매끄러운 필름의 제2면의 일부를 포함하는 내측면과 상기 필름의 제1면의 일부를 포함하는 외측면을 가지고 상기 제2구멍의 외주 둘레를 상기 평면에 수직한 방향으로 측정하여 상기 평면으로 부터 평균 깊이 L을 갖는, 상기 제1구멍과 제2구멍을 서로 연속하여 연결하는 측벽과, 적어도 약5의 L/T비 및, 적어도 약 0.5의 L/D비를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 음각 및 천공된 물질.
- 제26항에 있어서, 상기 필름은 랜드 지역의 하부면 위에 표면 거침을 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는 음각 및 천공된 물질.
- 최대 두께 T로 분리된 제1면과 제2면을 갖는 중합체 필름을 포함하는 음각 및 천공된 물질에 있어서, 상기 물질은 평면을 형성하는 상부면을 갖는 랜드 지역과 천공된 돌기들을 포함하는 필름의 제2면의 일부 및 상기 필름을 제1면의 일부를 포함하는 하부면을 포함하며, 상기 각 돌기는, 상기 평면내에 위치하는, 직경 D의 원이 내접할 수 있는 단면적을 갖는 제1구멍과 상기 평면 아래로 아주 멀리 떨어져 있는 제2구멍과, 적어도 약 2의 인수만큼 다른 직경들을 갖는 인접한 천공 돌기를 갖는 상기 필름의 제2면의 일부를 포함하는 내측면과 상기 필름의 제1면의 일부를 포함하는 외측면을 가지고 상기 제2구멍의 외주 둘레를 상기 평면에 수직한 방향으로 측정하여 상기 평면으로 부터 평균 깊이 L을 갖는, 상기 제1구멍과 제2구멍을 서로 연속적으로 연결하는 측벽과, 적어도 약5의 L/T비 및, 적어도 약 0.5의 L/D비를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 음각 및 천공된 물질.
- 제28항에 있어서, 필름도 적어도 약 5의 인수만큼 다른 직경을 갖는 인접한 천공 돌기를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 음각 및 천공된 물질.
- 제29항에 있어서, 필름은 적어도 약 10의 인수만큼 다른 직경들을 갖는 인접한 천공 돌기를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 음각 및 천공된 물질.
- 제30항에 있어서, 인접한 천공 돌기는 적어도 약20의 인수만큼 다른 직경을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 음각 및 천공된 물질.
- 제28항에 있어서, 제1구멍이 불규칙한 형상의 단면적을 가지고 있어 적어도 2개의 직경 D 인 원들이 그 안에 내접하지만 서로 중첩되지 않고, 상기 2개의 원들이 적어도 약2의 인수만큼 다른 직경을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 음각 및 천공된 물질.
- 제32항에 있어서, 2개의 원들이 적어도 약5의 인수만큼 다른 직경을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 음각 및 천공된 물질.
- 제32항에 있어서, 2개의 원들이 적어도 약10의 인수만큼 다른 직경을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 음각 및 천공된 물질.
- 제26항에 있어서, 상기 필름은 제2구멍에 인접한 측벽의 외측면과 내측면 양측에 매끄러운 표면을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 음각 및 천공된 물질.
- 제26항에 있어서, 상기 필름은 랜드 지역의 상부면과 하부면중 적어도 한면위에, 그리고 측벽의 내측면과 외측면중 적어도 한면위에 상기 평면에서 적어도 약 L/4의 평균 깊이로 표면 거침을 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는 음각 및 천공된 물질.
- 제26항에 있어서, L/T비가 적어도 약10인 것을 특징으로 하는 음각 및 천공된 물질.
- 제26항 또는 제27항에 있어서, 상기 필름은 평면으로 부터 적어도 약 L/2의 깊이로 표면 거침을 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는 음각 및 천공된 물질.
- 제26항에 있어서, L/T비가 적어도 약15인 것을 특징으로 하는 음각 및 천공된 물질.
- 제26항에 있어서, L/D비가 적어도 약0.7인 것을 특징으로 하는 음각 및 천공된 물질.
- 제26항에 있어서, L/D비가 적어도 약1.0인 것을 특징으로 하는 음각 및 천공된 물질.
- 제26항에 있어서, 중합체 필름은 폴리에틸렌, 저밀도 폴리에틸렌, 선형 저밀도 폴리에틸렌, 폴리프로필렌, 및 이 물질들을 소량 함유하는 혼성 중합체 및 혼합물들로 구성된 그룹으로부터 선택되는 열가소성 필름인 것을 특징으로 하는 음각 및 천공되 물질.
