Abstract
Description
Claims (12)
- (a) 가수분해성 올레핀계 불포화 실란에 의해 가교결합될 수 있는 열가소성 중합체를, 중합체가 배럴을 통해 전방추진되도록 위치하여 회전하는 전방추진 스크류와 배럴을 포함하는 압출기의 공급대역으로 도입시키고; (b) 도입된 중합체를 배럴내에서 압출 및 용융시키고; (c) 압축 및 용융된 중합체를 상기 압출기의 방출 말단에 위치한 압출기 믹서로 통과시키고; (d) 적당량의 혼합용 성분을, 상기 압출기 배럴내에서 중합체가 압축 및 용융된 후, 중합체내로 사출시키고; (e) 혼합용 성분과 압축 및 용융된 중합체를 믹서내에서 혼합시키고; (f) 생성된 혼합물을 믹서로부터 압출기 다이를 통하여 압출시켜 중합체를 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 단계(c)의 압출기 믹서가 배럴의 방출말단과 동일축 방향으로 위치하여 배럴로부터 압축 및 용융된 중합체를 공급받는 중공 고정자내에 스크류와 동일축 방향으로 위치하여 스크류에 의해 고정자내에서 회전할 수 있는 회전자를 포함하며; 고정자 및 회전자의 표면이 회전자와 고정자의 원주상으로 신장된 다수의 요면 캐비티 열(row of cancave cavities)을 포함하고; 상기 열이, 고정자 상의 열이 회전자 상의 열로부터 축 방향으로 오프세트(offset)되고 고정자와 회전자 상의 인접한 열들의 캐비티가 축방향으로 중첩되도록, 축방향으로 서로 이격되어 있으며; 고정자 상의 인접한 열들의 캐비티가 원주상으로 오프세트되어 있고, 회전자 상의 인접한 열들의 캐비티가 원주상으로 오프세트되어 있어서, 믹서를 통과하는 압축 및 용융된 중합체에 고-전단 혼합 작용을 제공하며, 단계(d)의 혼합용 성분이 가수분해성 올레핀계 불포화 실란 및 유리 라디칼 발생 성분을 포함하고; 단계 (e)의 혼합 공정을 가수분해성 실란이 중합체에 그래프트될 때까지 수행함을 특징으로 하여, 성형된 가교결합 압출 중합제품을 제조하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 단계(f)로부터 생성된 압출성형 제품을, 이에 함유된 중합체가 가교결합될 때까지 실란올 축합 촉매의 존재하에서 H2O로 처리하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 혼합용 성분이 실란올 촉합촉매를 포함하는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 중합체가 폴리에틸렌인 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 유리 라디칼 발생성분이 유기 퍼옥사이드인 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 축합촉매가 디부틸주석 디라우레이트인 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 유리 라디칼 발생성분이 디큐밀 퍼옥사이드인 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 가수분해성 실란이 비닐트리메톡시 실란인 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 캐비티가 반구형인 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 혼합용 성분이 비닐 트리메톡시실란, 디큐밀퍼옥사이드 및 디부틸주석 디라우레이트를 포함하는 방법.
- (a) 중공배럴; (b) 배럴 내부에 회전가능하도록 장착되어 열가소성 중합체를 배럴을 통하여 전방추진시키고 배럴 내부의 중합체를 압축 및 용융시키는 전방 추진 스크류; (c) 압출기의 방출 말단에 위치한, 압축 및 용융된 중합체에 신속한 분산성 혼합작용을 제공하기 위한 압출기 믹서; (d) 고정자를 통과하는 압축 및 용융된 중합체내로 유체 혼합용 성분을 사출시키기 위해 고정자의 상부 말단부에 위치한 사출기; 및 (e) 혼합용 성분들의 압출 및 용융된 중합체로의 유동은 허용하지만 고정자로부터 사출기로의 유동은 방지하기 위한, 사출기와 연결시킨 역류방지 밸브를 포함하는 압출기에 있어서, 수단 (c)의 압출기 믹서가 배럴의 방출말단과 동일축 방향으로 위치하여 배럴로부터 압출 및 용융된 중합체를 공급받는 중공 고정자 및 고정자내에 스크류와 동일축 방향으로 위치하여 스크류에 의해 고정자내에서 회전할 수 있는 회전자를 포함하며, 고정자 및 회전자의 표면이, 믹서를 통과하는 압축 및 용융된 중합체에 신속한 분산성 혼합작용이 제공되도록, 회전자와 고정자의 원주상으로 신장된 다수의 요면 캐비티 열을 포함하고; 상기 열이 고정자 상의 열이 회전자 상의 열로부터 축방향으로 오프세트되고 고정자와 회전자 상의 인접한 열들의 캐비티가 축방향으로 중첩되도록, 축방향으로 서로 이격되어 있으며, 고정자 상의 인접한 열들의 캐비티가 원주상으로 오프세트되어 있고, 회전자 상의 인접한 열들의 캐비티가 원주상으로 오프세트되어 있으며, 수단(d)의 사출기가 고정자를 통해 유동하는 압축 및 용융된 중합체의 표면 하부에 위치한 방출 팁을 포함함을 특징으로 하는, 실란 가교결합 중합 제품을 제공하기에 특히 적합한 압출기.
- 제11항에 있어서, 캐비티가 반구형인 압출기.
