Claims (9)
- 수산화 지르코늄과 이트륨 또는 세륨 중에서 선택된 안정화 원소의 수산화물과의 혼합물을 하소하여, 수득된 안정화 지르코니아를 분쇄 및 필요시 체질하여, 안정화 지르코니아를 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 상기 수산화 지르코늄과 안정화 원소의 수산화물과의 혼합물이, (a) ZrO2로 표시하여 5∼35중량%의 Zr을 함유하는 불화 황산 지르코늄 입자의 PH 약 0∼3 인 수성 현탁액 : 및 산화물 형태로 표시된 5∼20중량%의 안정화 원소를 함유하는 안정화 원소의 염의 수용액으로 이루어진 혼합물(여기서, 불화 황산 지르코늄의 수성 현탁액과 안정화 원소염의 수용액의 상대량은 안정화 원소 산화물/ZrO2의 몰비로 약 1/100∼20/100에 상응한다)을 PH7 이상의 암모니아 또는 수산화 알칼리로 중화시키고, (b) 수득된 수산화물의 혼합물을 여과 분리하고, 필요시 암모니아 또는 수산화 알칼리가 첨가된 물을 사용하여 중성에 가까운 PH로 세척한 다음, 재 여과하고, (C) 필요시, 상기 수득된 수산화물의 혼합물을 질산 또는 염산 수용액에 현탁하여 세척한 다음(이때, 수득된 현탁액의 PH는 안정화 원소의 수산화물의 용해 PH보다 높아야 하고 8을 초과하지 않아야 한다), 이를 여과하여 수득된 것임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 중화 단계에서 불화 황산 지르코늄의 입자가 약 3∼10㎛의 평균 입도를 나타냄을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, 중화 단계(a)에서 안정화 원소의 산화물/ZrO2의 몰비는 안정화 원소가 이트륨일때는 1/100∼10/100이고 상기한 원소가 세륨일때는 5/100∼20/100임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 중화 단계에서 안정화 원소의 산화물/ZrO2의 몰비는 상기한 원소가 이트륨일때는 2/100∼6/100 이고 상기한 원소가 세륨일때는 8/100∼15/100 임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 2항에 있어서, 중화 단계를 PH10이상의 암모니아 또는 PH13이상의 가성 소다에 의해 수행함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 2항에 있어서, 중화 단계에서 불화 황산 지르코늄의 수성 현탁액이 ZrO2의 형태에 표시된 20∼30%의 Zr를 함유하며, 안정화 원소의 염의 용액이 상기한 원소의 산화물의 형태로 표시된 10∼15% 의 안정화 원소를 함유함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 2항에 있어서, 중화단계(a), 세척 조작 단계(b) 그리고 산에 의한 경우에 따른 세척 단계(c)를 20∼100℃ 의 온도에서 수행함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 2항에 있어서, 산 세척 단계(c)를 안정화 원소가 이트륨일때는 7∼8 의 PH에서, 또는 안정화 원소가 세륨일때는 3∼8 의 PH에서 실시함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 2항에 있어서, 중화 단계(a)를 10.5 의 PH에서 암모니아에 의해 수행하고, 세척 조작단계(b)를 동일 PH에서 암모니아 용액에 의해 수행하며, 세척 단계(c)를 7.5의 PH에서 수행함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
