높은 인장 강도를 지닌 중합체성 생성물의 제조방법.

제1도 및 제2도는 파단 인장 강도와 인취율 간의 관계, 및 영 모듈러스와 인취율 간의 관계를 나타낸다. 이들 도면은 인취율이 증가함에 따라 파단 인장 강도 및 영 모듈러스가 명백하게 증가함을 보여주고 있다.
최대 인취율은 43임이 발견되었으며 수득될 수 있는 기계적 특성의 최대 값은 파산 신장 강도 3.0Gpa, 영 모듈러스 102Gpa 및 파단 연신 3%이다. 제3도는 이러한 중합체에 대한 전형적인 응력-장력 곡선을 나타낸다.

Claims (11)

  1. 증기 침착 중합반응에 의해 파단 연장 강도의 이론치가 1OGpa이상인 화학적으로 비-가교-결합된 중합제성 물질을 형성시키고, 이 물질을 실질적으로 산소를 함유하지 않는 조건하에서 1O을 초과하는 인취율로 인취시킴을 특징으로 하여, 높은 인장 강도를 지닌 중합체성 생성물을 제조하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 중기 침착 중합 반응에 의해 형성된 중합체성 물질의 파단 인장 강도의 이론치가 15Gpa이상, 바람직하게는 2OGpa 이상임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 중기 침착 중합 반응에 의해 생성된 중합체성 물질이 일반식(I a) 및/ 또는 (Ⅱ a)(여기서, 벤젠환은 하나 이상의 할로겐 원자, C1-C6알킬 그룹, C2-7알카노일 그룹, C2-7알카노일옥시 그룹 및/ 또는 시아노 그룹으로 치환될 수 있다)의 단위를 함유하는 동중 중합체 또는 공중합체로 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 중합체성 물질이 일반식(I b) 및/ 또는 (Ⅱ b)(여기서, 벤젠환은 하나 이상의 할로겐원자, C1-C6알킬 그룹, C2-7알카노일 그룹, C2-7알카노일옥시 그룹 및/ 또는 시아노 그룹으로 치환될 수 있다)의 이가 라디칼을 증기 침착중합 반응시킴으로씨 형성됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  5. 제3 또는 4항에 있어서, 중기가 일반식(1c) 및/ 또는 (Ⅱ b)(여기서, 벤젠환은 하나 이상의 할로겐원자, C1-C6알킬 그룹, C2-7알카노일 그룹, C2-7알카노일옥시 그룹 및/ 또는 시아노그룹으로 치환될 수 있다)의 이합체를 열분해함으로써 수득됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  6. 제1 내지 5항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 중기 침착 중합 반응에 의해 형성된 물질이 평균 분자량이 104내지 l07, 바람직하게는 105내지 l06, 가장 바람직하게는 300,O0O 내지 800,OOO인 중합체로 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  7. 제1 내지 6항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 중합체성물질이 인취율 2O 이상, 바람직하게는 3O 이상, 가장 바람직하게는 4O 이상으로 인취됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  8. 제1 내지 7항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 중합체성물질이 질소 또는 이상기체와 같은, 불활성 기체 대기중에서 인취됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  9. 제1 내지 8항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 중합체성물질이 중합체의 콘디스(condis) 결정 조건 범위내의 온도에서 인취됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 중합체성 물질이 폴리(파라-크실렌)을 함유하며 231℃ 내지 중합체의 융점, 바람직하게는 287℃ 내지 융점 온도에서 인취됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  11. 제1 내지 1O항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 청구한 방법을 사용하여 제조된, 바람직하게는 필름, 고체 섬유, 동공 섬유, 사(yarn) 또는 리본 형태의 중합체성 생성물.
