본 고안은 욕조의 바닥에 단열재와 전기히터를 배열하고 그 위에 문살 형태로된 나무재질의 침상을 전기히터와 상하 간격을 두고 설치한 다음 욕조에 모래를 채워 전기히터에 의하여 소정의 온도로 가열하면서 바닥에서처럼 모래찜질을 할수 있게한 모래찜질용 욕조에 관한 것이다.
종래 여름철의 태양열에 가열된 모래에 몸을 묻어 찜질하는 일은 오래된 일종의 민간요법의 하나로 신경통 비만증 치료등에 유효한 것으로 알려져서 특히 노인들이 애용하고 있다.
그러나 여름의 한정된 계절에만 모래찜질을 할수 있을 뿐이고 더욱이 모래가 있는 강가 또는 바닷가에 가야만 하기 때문에 계절에 관계없이 일반 가정이나 목욕탕등에서의 모래찜질을 바라고 있으면서 아직 그에 적절한 모래찜질 욕조가 출현되지 못하고 있는 실정이었다.
본 고안은 이러한 실정을 감안하여 계절에 관계없이 아무때나 실내에서 전천후적으로 모래찜질을 할수 있게 하기 위하여 사람이 누을수 있는 크기의 욕조의 바닥에 단열판과 열반사판을 깔고 그위에 공지한 전기히터를 적당한 간격으로 배치하여 전열로 모래를 가열할 수 있게하고 전기히터의 상부측에 약간의 공간을 두고 문살형 태로된 나무재질의 침상을 설치하여 직접 몸이 전기히터에 접촉되지 않게 한 다음 모래찜질용 모래를 욕조안에 채워두고 필요시에 전기 히터에 의하여 모래를 적정온도로 가열한다음 통상의 요령으로 모래찜질을 하고 필요에 따라 약쑥이나 환약제등을 모래에 혼합하여 모래의 열에 의하여 약제의 유효성분을 발산시키어 모래찜질의 효능을 향상시킬 수있게 안출 한 것으로 이를 도면에 의하여 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다.
사람이 편히 누울수 있는 크기로된 욕조(1)의 바닥에 단열재(2)와 스텐인레쓰 금속재질의 열반사판(3)을 적층되게 형성하고 열반사판의 표면에 공지한 전기히터(4)를 지그재그로 배치하여 고정구(5)로 고정시키며 문살형태로 구성된 나무재질의 침상(6)을 전기히터(4)와 약간의 상하간격이 유지되게 평면적으로 설치하여 침상(6)의 상하로 찜질용 모래(7)을 욕조(1)안에 채워전기히터(4)에 의하여 모래를 원하는 임의 온도로 가열할 수 있게 된 것이다.
도면중 미설명 부호 8은 온도조절기이다.
이와 같이된 본 고안은 공지한 온도조절기(8)에 의하여 모래의 가열한 온도를 40℃ 또는 60℃등 자기가 원하는 온도로 설정하여 전기히터(4)에 의하여 모래(7)을 가열하면 모래는 열전도성이 큰 광물질이므로 전기히터(4)의 표면에 접촉된 모래로 부터 욕조(1)에 담긴 모래전체에 열이 전도되어 해변의 모래와 달리 모래전체가 가열되며 이때 욕조(1)에 누어서 모래를 덮어 통상의 요령으로 모래찜질을 하고 모래찜질중에도 온도를 임의로 높힐 수 있으며 또한 찜질의 목적에 따라 약쑥이나 기타 한방약제등을 모래에 섞어 모래의 열에 의한 약제의 유효성분을 발산시키어 인체의 피부에 유익하게 할수도 있고 또한 바다 모래처럼 적절한 량의 염분을 첨가 유지시킬수도 있으며 또한 여러차례 모래찜질후 모래를 살균소독할 필요성이 있는 경우에는 욕조에 사람이 들어가지 않고 전기히터(4)에 의한 모래(7)의 가열온도를 상당히 높혀서 가열 살균하면서 반복적으로 사용하는 것으로 욕조의 바닥에 단열재와 열반사판을 적층 형성한 다음 그 위에 공지한 전기히터를 설치하였기 때문에 욕조의 하방으로 열의 손실을 방지할 수 있고 또한 전기히터의 상부측에 문살형태의 침상을 설치하였기 때문에 욕조에 담긴 모래는 전기히터에 의하여 목적하는 온도로 간편하게 가열조절할 수 있는 동시 모래찜질시에 몸이 침상에 의하여 직접 전기히터에 접촉되는 것을 방지하므로 전기 히터에 몸이 델 우려가 전혀없고 전기히터에 의하여 모래의 온도를 임의로 가변시킬 수 있으므로 약쑥이나 한약제등을 모래의 열에 의하여 발산할 수 있는 조건으로 가열시킬수도 있고 각 사람의 건강조건이나 신체조건에 적절한 온도로 모래찜질을 할수 있으며 구조가 간단하여 사용 및 취급이 간단하여 공중 목욕탕이나 가정의 실내에 설치하여 계절에 관계없이 바다에 가지 않고도 전천후적으로 보다 편리하게 임의로 모래찜질을 할수 있는 효과가 있다.

- 욕조(1)의 바닥면에 단열재(2)와 금속재질의 열반사판(3)을 적층형성하여 열반사판의 표면에 공지한 전기히터(4)를 지그재그로 배치하고 문살형태의 나무재질로된 침상(6)를 전기히터(4)와 상하 간격을 두고 평면적으로 설치하여 욕조(1)내에 찜질용 모래(7)를 채워 넣어서된 모래찜질용 욕조.
