Description
Claims (6)
- 방출 물질이 금속 산화물 형태로 존재하고, 금속 산화물은 음극의 작동시에 계속 감소되어 표면에 원자형태로 확산되어서 단원자 막을 형성하는, 고온 용융하는 비금속 물질을 포함한 처리된 디스펜서 음극 제조 방법에 있어서, (가) 수소가 포함된 대기중에서 어니일링에 의하여 음극을 세척하는 단계와, (나) 붕소가 음극상에 증착될 정도의 온도로 가스상태의 붕소 화합물을 포함한 가스 대기내에서 음극을 가열하는 단계와, (다) 음극을 진공이나 비반응 분위기에서 상기 음극의 작동 온도까지 가열하여, 상기 작동온도에서 잠시동안 유지시켜서, 비금속 물질의 붕소를 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스펜서 음극 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 가스 상태의 붕소 화합물은 디보란(B2H6)인 것을 특징으로 하는 디스펜서 음극 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 비금속 물질은 (가)단계 전에 거칠게 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스펜서 음극 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 금속 산화물은 원소 주기율표 Ⅲ-B의 스칸듐-단 금속중의 어느 한 금속 산화물인 것을 특징으로 하는 디스펜서 음극의 제조 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 금속 산화물은 토륨 산화물이고, 비금속 물질은 텅스텐인 것을 특징으로 하는 디스펜서 음극 제조 방법.
- 제1항에서 청구된 바와 같은 방법에 의해서 제조된 붕소 처리된 디스펜서 음극.
