자전차 앞. 뒷바퀴 동시 브레이크장치

본 고안은 앞, 뒷바퀴가 동시에 제동되는 브레이크장치에 있어서 좌우측 어느쪽의 손잡이 브레이크를 사용하더라도 자전차의 뒤바퀴부터 제동이 걸린 다음 앞바퀴가 제동되게 하여 자전차 제동시에 균형이 깨져서 탑승자가 넘어지는 등 위험을 제거하기 위한 자전차 앞, 뒷바퀴 동시 브레이크장치의 개량에 관한 것이다.
종래에는 자전차 손잡이 브레이크와 앞, 뒷바퀴 브레이크가 따로따로 자전차에 장치되어 있기 때문에 파열로 인하여 충돌과 추돌사고를 유발하는 경우가 종종 있었으므로 이를 시정하기 위하여 자동봉 상하에 브레이크선을 동시에 걸착하여 앞, 뒷바퀴가 동시에 제동되게 하므로서 브레이크의 어느하나가 파손되더라도 제동이 걸리게 한 것이 있었으나, 이 경우는 앞, 뒷바퀴가 동시에 재동되므로서 탑승자의 균형이 깨져 넘어질 위험을 면치 못하였다.
본 고안은 이와같은 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 브레이크를 편심캡에 동시 결착하여 뒷바퀴 브레이크선 결착공을 앞바퀴 브레이크선 결착공 보다 피치원상의 거리를 멀게 하므로서 브레이크 작동시 뒷바퀴에 제동이 먼저 걸리게 하여 탑승자의 균형을 유지하게 한 것으로서, 본 고안을 첨부도면에 의거 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다.
와이어 안내공(3)(3')(4)(4')이 상하로 천설된 갑체(1) 내벽 일측에 너트공(2')이 형성된 축봉(2)을 내향돌설하고 축공(6)과 와이어 결착공(7)(7')(7")(7'")이 친설된 편심캠(5)을 상기 축봉(2)에 감삽유설하여 코일스프링(8)으로 탄지하고 와이어 결착공(7)에는 왼손브레이크선(11)을, 와이어 결착공(7')에는 오른손 브레이크선(11')을, 축공(6) 중심에서 가까운 피치원상의 와이어 결착공(7")에는 앞바퀴 브레이크선(12)을, 축공(6) 중심에서 먼 피치원상의 와이어 결착공(7'")에는 뒷바퀴브레이크선(12')을 각각 결착하고, 뚜껑(9)을 씌운 후 볼트(10)로 체결하여 된 것이다.
본 고안의 작용효과를 설명하면 다음과 같다.
장설된 왼손브레이크선(11)과 오른손브레이크선(11')이 편심캡(5)의 축공(6) 중심에서 동일거리에 형성된 결착공(7)(7')에 결착되어 있으므로 좌우 레버가 각 와이어의 부착위치에 관계없이 항상 일정하게 작동되며 어느한쪽에 고장이 나더라도 브레이크가 작동되므로 안전하고 뒷바퀴브레이크선(12')은 편심캠(5)의 축공(6) 중심에서 거리가 먼 피치원상에 위치하는 와이어 결착공(7"")에, 앞바퀴 브레이크선(12)을 편심캠(5)의 축공(6) 중심에서 거리가 가까운 피치원상에 위치하는 결착공(7")에 결착함으로 뒷바퀴부터 제동이 걸린 앞바퀴가 제동되므로 급브레이크로 인하여 탑승자가 균형을 잃고 넘어가는 것을 방지할 수 있고, 브레이크 제동으로 인한 충격이 뒷바퀴부터 가해지므로서 차체에 무리가 가지 않으며, 뒷바퀴브레이크선(12')과 앞바퀴브레이크선(12)이 편심캡(5)에 결착되어 있으므로 일측 브레이크가 파손되었더라도 다른 일측이 제동되므로 브레이크 파열로 인한 사고를 방지할 수 있는 매우 유용한 고안이다.

  1. 와이어 안내공(3)(3')(4)(4')이 상하로 천설된 갑체(1) 내벽 일측에 너트공(2')이 형성된 축봉(2)을 내향 돌설하고 축공(6)과 와이어 결착공(7)(7')(7")(7"")이 천설된 편심캠(5)을 상기 축봉(2)에 감삽유설하여 코일스프링(8)으로 탄지하고 와이어 결착공(7)에는 왼손브레이크선(11)을, 와이어 결착공(7')에는 오른손브레이크선(11')을 축공(6) 중심에서 가까운 피치원상의 와이어 결착공(7")에는 앞바퀴 브레이크선(12)을, 축공(6) 중심에서 먼 피치원상의 와이어 결착공(7"")에는 뒷바퀴브레이크선(12')을 각각 결착하고 뚜껑(9)을 씌운 후 볼트(10)로 체결함을 특징으로 하는 자전차 앞, 뒷바퀴 동시 브레이크장치.
