제1도는 본 고안의 일부를 절결한 정면도.

본 고안은 각종 용도로 사용되는 관과 관을 연결하는 관 연결구에 관한 것으로서 관내를 흐르는 높은 유체압에도 연결된 관이 연결구로 부터 분리됨이 없이 긴밀한 밀폐효과로 누수됨을 방지할 수 있도록 한 것이다.
종래에도 여러종류의 관 연결구가 많이 안출된 바 있으나 이는 소켓에 나사맞춤된 조임구를 돌려 고무재의 패킹링을 압축할시 조입구의 회전력에 의하여 패킹링이 뒤틀리거나 마멸케되어 누수를 방지하는 패킹의 역활을 충분히 달성시킬수 없는 결점이 있었다.
본 고안은 이와 같은 결점을 해결하기 위하여 패킹과 조임구의 사이에 별도의 압축링을 개재시켜 패킹링을 직선방향으로 압축시킬수 있도록 하여 패킹링이 손상됨을 방지할수 있도록 함으로서 누수방지효과를 향상시킬수 있도록 한 것이다.
연결관체(1)(1')의 단부에 나사를 형성한 조임구(2)(2')를 끼운 다음 쐐기링(3)(3')과 패킹링(4)(4')을 차례로 끼우고 조임구(2)(2')를 소켓(5)의 나사부에 나사조임하게 된 것에 있어서 쐐기링(3)(3')과 패킹링(4)(4')의 사이에 압착링(6)(6')을 개재시켜서 된 것이다.
이와 같이 된 본 고안은 공지의 관 연결구와 같이 조임구(2)(2')를 돌려 패킹링(4)(4')을 압착시키게 되는 것으로 본 고안은 쐐기링(3)(3')과 패킹링(4)(4')사이에 별도의 압착링(6)(6')을 개재하였기 때문에 조임구(2)(2')의 회전력이 압착링(6)(6')에 의하여 상쇄되어 패킹링(4)(4')은 거의 직선으로 이동하는 압착링(6)(6')에 의하여 압착케됨으로 종래와 같이 패킹링(4)(4')이 조임구(2)(2')의 회전력에 의하여 뒤틀리거나 손상을 입을 염려가 없게되어 누수방지효과가 향상됨은 물론이다.
또한 쐐기(3)(3')에 의하여 조임구(2)(2')와 연결관(1)(1')외면과의 압접상태가 양호하게 되어 고압에도 관이 쉬 분리되지 않는 효과가 있다.
