본 고안은 편물을 뜨게질하는데 사용되는 대나무 뜨게바늘에 관한 것이다.The present invention relates to a bamboo knitting needle used to knit a knitted fabric.

뜨게바늘은 작업능률을 높이기 위하여 통상 유연성이 높고 무게가 가벼운 대나무를 재질로 하고 있으며, 균일하게 둥근형태로 된 봉신(棒身)의 선다부는 뾰족하게 구성되어 있다. 이러한 종래의 대나무 뜨게바늘은 선단부의 외곡선(profile)이 포물선 또는 완만한 곡선을 이루고 있는 첨단부는 날카롭게 되어 있으므로 사용자가 뜨게질을 할때 뜨게실과 선단부의 표면사이에는 균일하지 않은 마찰저항이 발생하여 뜨게실의 장력과 뜨게질의 속도를 균일하게 유지하기 어려울뿐 아니라 예리한 뜨게바늘의 첨단부가 여러가닥이 꼬여서 된 연사의 뜨게실을 관통하는 일이 자주 발생하여 편물의 균일도와 뜨게질의 능률을 저하시키는 원인이 되고 있다. 이러한 결함은 사용자들이 은연중에 인식하면서도 대체로 이러한 불편함을 감수하고 있으며, 뜨게바늘의 제조자 역시 통상적인 사고방식에 머물러 뜨게바늘의 선단부를 완만한 곡선으로 하고 첨단부를 날카롭게 구성하고 있는 것이다. 대나무는 재질상 개조하기가 용이하므로 사용자에 따라서는 통상의 대나무 뜨게바늘의 첨단부를 연마하거나 불에 그을려 무디게 하여 사용하는 경우도 있으나 변형의 적정선을 알지 못하여 최적의 형태를 구하지 못하고 있는 것이다.Knit needles are usually made of bamboo with high flexibility and light weight in order to improve working efficiency, and the tip of the bead of uniformly round shape is pointed.
