M은 수소, 알칼리 금속 양이온, 알칼리 토금속 양이온, 암모늄, 선형 C1 내지 C4 알킬 또는 분지형 C3, C4 알킬 라디칼에 의해 일치환, 이치환, 삼치환 또는 사치환된 암모늄, 선형 C1 내지 C4 하이드록시알킬 또는 분지형 C3, C4 하이드록시알킬 라디칼에 의해 일치환, 이치환, 삼치환 또는 사치환된 암모늄, 선형 C1 내지 C4 알킬 또는 분지형 C3, C4 알킬 라디칼 또는 선형 C1 내지 C4 하이드록시알킬 또는 분지형 C3, C4 하이드록시알킬 라디칼의 혼합물에 의해 이치환, 삼치환 또는 사치환된 암모늄, 또는 상기 양이온들의 혼합물을 포함하거나 이들로 필수적으로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는, 음이온 전하와 균형을 맞추기 위한 양이온을 나타내고,
R7이 선형 C1 내지 C4 알킬 또는 분지형 C3, C4 알킬인 경우, n은 적어도 1이고/이거나, R8이 선형 C1 내지 C4 알킬 또는 분지형 C3, C4 알킬인 경우, m은 적어도 1이다.) - 제1항에 있어서,
R9 및 R10이 서로 독립적으로 메틸, 에틸, 프로필 또는 아이소프로필, 바람직하게는 메틸을 나타내는 화합물. - 제1항에 있어서,
R7 및/또는 R8이 수소, 메틸 또는 에틸을 나타내고, 바람직하게는 R7 및 R8 중 하나 또는 둘 다는 R1 또는 R6을 각각 가진 질소 원자에 대해 파라 위치에 있고, 단, R7 또는 R8 중 적어도 하나는 메틸 또는 에틸인 화합물. - 제1항 또는 제3항에 있어서,
R7 및/또는 R8이 메틸을 나타내고, 바람직하게는 R7 및 R8 중 하나 또는 둘 다는 R1 또는 R6을 각각 가진 질소 원자에 대해 파라 위치에 있는 화합물. - 제1항 내지 제3항 중 적어도 한 항에 있어서,
X 및 Y가 SO3M을 나타내고,
M이 Li+, Na+, K+, ½ Ca2 +, ½ Mg2 +, 선형 C1 내지 C4 알킬 또는 분지형 C3, C4 알킬 라디칼에 의해 일치환, 이치환, 삼치환 또는 사치환된 암모늄, 선형 C1 내지 C4 하이드록시알킬 또는 분지형 C3, C4 하이드록시알킬 라디칼에 의해 일치환, 이치환, 삼치환 또는 사치환된 암모늄, 선형 C1 내지 C4 알킬 또는 분지형 C3, C4 알킬 라디칼 또는 선형 C1 내지 C4 하이드록시알킬 또는 분지형 C3, C4 하이드록시알킬 라디칼의 혼합물에 의해 이치환, 삼치환 또는 사치환된 암모늄의 군으로부터 선택되는, 음이온 전하와 균형을 맞추기 위한 양이온을 나타내고,

X 및 Y가 SO3M을 나타내고,
M이 Na+를 나타내고,
m 및 n이 1인 화합물. - 제5항에 있어서,
X는 R1을 가진 질소 원자에 대해 메타 위치에 있고, Y는 R6을 가진 질소 원자에 대해 메타 위치에 있는 화합물. - 제1항 및 제3항 내지 제6항 중 적어도 한 항에 있어서,
R1 및/또는 R6이 수소를 나타내는 화합물. - 제1항 및 제3항 내지 제7항 중 적어도 한 항에 있어서,
R2 및 R4
및/또는
R3 및 R5가 서로 독립적으로 하이드록시에틸 및/또는 하이드록시아이소프로필, 바람직하게는 하이드록시에틸을 나타내는 화합물. - 제1항 내지 제8항 중 적어도 한 항에 따른 적어도 하나의 식 (2)의 화합물을 5 내지 60중량% 포함하는 농축된 수성 조성물.
- 제9항에 있어서,
살생물제, 증점제, 셰이딩 착색제, 가용화제, 폴리(바이닐 알코올) 및 폴리에틸렌 글라이콜과 같은 중합체, 또는 염화 나트륨과 같은 무기 염 중 하나 이상의 첨가제를 포함하는 농축된 수성 조성물. - 제9항 또는 제10항에 있어서,
상기 수성 조성물이 슬러리인 수성 조성물. - 사이아누릭 할라이드(cyanuric halide)를 식 (4)의 화합물 및/또는 식 (5)의 화합물과 제 1 단계에서 반응시키고, 제 1 단계의 반응 생성물을 식 (6)의 화합물과 제 2 단계에서 반응시키거나,
또는 사이아누릭 할라이드를 식 (6)의 화합물과 제 1 단계에서 반응시키고, 제 1 단계의 반응 생성물을 식 (4) 및/또는 식 (5)의 화합물과 제 2 단계에서 반응시키며,
제 2 단계의 반응 생성물을 식 (7)의 화합물 및/또는 식 (8)의 화합물과 제 3 단계에서 반응시키거나, 또는
제 2 단계의 반응 생성물을 식 (9)의 화합물 및/또는 식 (10)의 화합물과 제 3 단계에서 반응시키는, 제1항 내지 제8항 중 적어도 한 항에 따른 식 (2)의 화합물의 제조 방법.

R7, R8, X, Y, m 및 n은 제1항 내지 제6항 중 적어도 한 항에서 정의된 바와 같은 의미를 갖는다.)

상기 반응이 수성 매체 중에서 수행되고, 제 1 단계는 0℃ 내지 20℃ 범위의 온도 및 pH= 4 내지 6 범위의 pH값에서 수행되고, 제 2 단계는 20℃ 내지 80℃ 범위의 온도 및 pH= 6 내지 7.5 범위의 pH값에서 수행되며, 제 3 단계는 60℃ 내지 102℃ 범위의 온도 및 pH= 7.5 내지 9 범위의 pH값에서 수행되는 방법. - 펄프의 현탁액을 제공하는 단계,
제9항 내지 제11항 중 적어도 한 항에 따른 수성 조성물을 펄프의 건조 섬유를 기준으로 0.01 내지 5중량% 첨가하여, 증백된 펄프를 얻는 단계,
블렌드의 물을 빼내는 단계,
블렌드를 종이 시트로 프레스 및 건조하는 단계
를 포함하는, 종이를 백색화(whitening)하는 방법. - 직물, 종이, 보드 및 부직포의 광증백(optical brightening)을 위한 제1항 내지 제8항 중 적어도 한 항에 따른 식 (2)의 화합물 또는 제9항 내지 제11항 중 적어도 한 항에 따른 농축된 수성 조성물의 용도.
- 제15항에 있어서,
상기 식 (2)의 화합물이 펄프에 첨가되는 용도.
