상기 스위칭 층의 이색성 염료 중 적어도 하나가 아조 화합물, 안트라퀴논, 벤조티아다이아졸, 다이케토피롤로피롤 및 릴렌으로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 광학 스위칭 소자. - 제 1 항 내지 제 12 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 편광 층과 인접하는 기판 층이 중합체로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는, 광학 스위칭 소자. - 제 1 항 내지 제 13 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 소자가 공간 내에서 만곡된(curved) 것을 특징으로 하는, 광학 스위칭 소자. - 제 1 항 내지 제 14 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 소자가 하나 이상의 기판 층을 포함하고,
