Description
샤워젤, 바디워시, 클렌징 로션, 액체 비누 및 이의 유사물(이하, 통합해서 "액체 클렌징 조성물"이라 지칭되고, 이들은 액체, 젤, 로션 또는 폼이다)은 최근 점차 인기가 많아지고 있다. 이러한 조성물은 일반적으로 피부 클렌징제로서 계면활성제의 혼합물을 함유한다. 이 조성물의 성능은 계면활성제 혼합계에서 계면활성제의 상호작용을 변형시켜 개량할 수 있다.

a) C10 -16 알코올 에톡실레이트 설페이트의 염, 베타인 계면활성제 및 알킬 폴리글루코사이드를 함유하는 계면활성제; 및 b) 조성물의 8중량% 이상의 C12 -18 지방 알코올을 함유하는 수성 조성물. 지방 알코올의 이 농도에서 조성물은 전단 박층화하고, 편사성(stringiness)의 양이 감소되거나 전혀 없는 로션 같은 외관을 보유할 수 있고, 분배했을 때 자립성이 있을 수 있다.
또한, 상기 조성물을 피부 또는 모발에 적용하고 세척(washing)하고, 경우에 따라 물로 린스하는 것을 포함하는 클렌징 방법.

계면활성제
조성물은 C10 -16 알코올 에톡실레이트 설페이트의 염, 베타인 계면활성제 및 알킬 폴리글루코사이드를 함유하는 계면활성제를 포함한다.
특정 양태에 따르면, 계면활성제의 합산된 양은 조성물의 적어도 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 또는 13중량%의 양으로 존재한다.
C10 -16 알코올 에톡실레이트 설페이트의 염은 C10 -16 알코올 에톡실레이트 설페이트의 염 중에서 어느 하나 이상으로 선택될 수 있다. 특정 양태에 따르면, C10 -16은 라우릴이다. 에틸렌 옥사이드의 평균 몰은 1 내지 30일 수 있다. 일반적으로, 평균 1 내지 3몰의 에틸렌 옥사이드가 사용된다. 이 염의 양이온은 임의의 일반적인 염 양이온, 예컨대 나트륨, 암모늄, 알칼리 금속, 알칼리 토금속, 트리에탄올아민 등일 수 있다. 특정 양태에 따르면, 나트륨이 선택된다.

알킬 폴리글루코사이드에서 알킬은 임의의 알킬 또는 이의 배합물일 수 있고, 그 예로는 데실, 라우릴 또는 코코가 있다. 특정 양태에 따르면, 알킬 폴리글루코사이드는 데실 글루코사이드를 포함한다.
특정 양태에서, 계면활성제는 계면활성제의 총 중량을 기준으로, 60 내지 70중량%의 C10 -16 알코올 에톡실레이트 설페이트의 염, 20 내지 30중량%의 베타인 계면활성제, 및 5 내지 15중량%의 알킬 폴리글루코사이드를 함유한다.
특정 양태에 따르면, 계면활성제는, 이 계면활성제의 중량을 기준으로, 66 내지 67중량%, 또는 약 66.4중량%의 C10 -16 알코올 에톡실레이트 설페이트의 염, 24 내지 25중량% 또는 약 24.4중량%의 베타인 계면활성제, 및 9 내지 10중량% 또는 약 9.2중량%의 알킬 폴리글루코사이드를 함유한다.

지방 알코올
조성물은 적어도 하나의 C12-C18 지방 알코올, 바람직하게는 C16-C18 지방 알코올을 포함한다. 구체적인 적당한 지방산은 라우릴 알코올, 미리스틸 알코올, 세틸 알코올 및 스테아릴 알코올을 포함하지만, 이에 국한되는 것은 아니다. 조성물은 단일 종류의 지방 알코올 또는 1종보다 많은 종류의 지방 알코올을 함유할 수 있다. 특정 양태에 따르면, 지방 알코올은 스테아릴 알코올을 포함한다. C12 -14 지방 알코올은 발생되는 거품의 양을 감소시킬 수 있기 때문에 C16 또는 그 이상의 지방 알코올을 사용하는 것이 바람직하다.

조성물의 운반체는 물, 바람직하게는 탈이온수 및/또는 연수를 포함한다.
피부관리제
특정 양태에 따르면, 조성물은 0중량% 내지 약 5중량%, 바람직하게는 0.1중량% 내지 약 3중량%의 피부관리제를 함유할 수 있다.
피부관리제의 성분은 조성물의 안정성 또는 효능에 악영향을 미치지 않는 한 특별히 제한되지 않는다. 피부관리제의 중요한 한 과는 연화제이다. 연화제는 부드럽고, 매끄러우며 유연한 피부 외관을 유지하는 것을 돕는 미용 성분이다. 연화제는 피부 표면 또는 각질층에 남아서 윤활제로서 작용하거나, 박리를 감소시키고 피부 외관을 개선시키는 작용을 한다.

추가 선택적 성분
조성물은 또한 당업자에게 공지된 추가 선택적 성분, 예컨대 염료 및 향료를 함유할 수 있고, 이는 조성물의 클렌징 효능에 역영향을 미치지 않고 의도한 기능을 수행하기에 충분한 양으로 존재한다. 이러한 선택적 성분은 일반적으로, 각각 조성물의 0 내지 약 5중량%로 존재하고, 합산해서 0 내지 약 20중량%로 존재한다.

선택적 성분의 구체적인 과에는 거품 촉진제로서 알칸올아미드; 보존제로서 파라벤; 완충제로서 무기 인산염, 황산염 및 탄산염; 킬레이트제로서 EDTA 및 인산염; pH 조정제로서 산 및 염기를 포함한다.
염기성 pH 조정제의 예로는 암모니아; 모노알킬 아민, 디알킬 아민 및 트리알킬 아민; 모노알칸올아민, 디알칸올아민 및 트리알칸올아민; 알칼리 금속 수산화물 및 알칼리 토금속 수산화물; 및 이의 혼합물이 있다. 하지만, 염기성 pH 조정제의 성분은 제한되지 않고, 당업계에 공지된 임의의 염기성 pH 조정제가 사용될 수 있다. 염기성 pH 조정제의 구체적이고 비제한적인 예는 암모니아; 수산화나트륨, 수산화칼륨 및 수산화리튬; 모노에탄올아민; 트리에틸아민; 이소프로판올아민; 디에탄올아민; 및 트리에탄올아민이다.

특정 양태에 따르면, 조성물은 무기 염, 예컨대 염화나트륨이 없는 것이다. 다른 특정 양태에 따르면, 조성물에 존재하는 염화나트륨(및/또는 모든 무기 염)의 양은 1wt% 이하로 제한된다.

본 발명은 이하 실시예로 더 상세하게 설명된다. 실시예는 단지 예시적이며 기술되고 청구된 본 발명의 범위를 어떠한 식으로든지 제한하지 않는다.
시험 물질
유동학 연구는 14mm 작은 날개 기하형태를 가진 TA instrument AR2000 Rheometer를 사용하여 수행했다. 전단 속도 경사를 사용하여 점도 vs. 전단 응력 반응을 수득했다.
광 검경 및 조영술은 Olympus/SIS Microsuite Five Software가 수반된 Olympus DP70 컬러 디지털 카메라를 장착한 Olympus BX61 전동식 복합 광 현미경을 사용하여 실시했다. 샤워젤 샘플은 유리슬라이드 위에 산물 1방울을 적용하고 그 위에 커버슬립 유리를 덮어서 준비했다. 샘플은 다음과 같은 투광 검경 기술을 사용하여 조사했다: 명시야, 상대비, 미분간섭대비 및 교차 극 아래에서의 편광. 사용 배율은 100x였다.
비교예
종래의 액체 클렌징 조성물의 대표적인 조성물은 본 발명의 조성물을 위한 기제 및 비교예로서 준비했다. 비교 클렌징 조성물(이하, "CCC")은 다음과 같다.
실시예
1
고농도의 지방 알코올은 CCC를 비-구조화된 점성 액체로부터 구조화된 전단 박층화 젤로 변환시켰다. 최종 산물은 로션 같은 외관을 보유했다.
샤워젤 샘플의 전단 점성은 일정 범위의 전단 속도(D) 0.01 내지 30sec- 1를 사용하여 조사했다. 젤 및 비-구조화된 점성 유체는 유동 행동을 측정하여 쉽게 구별할 수 있다. 구조화된 유체는 비뉴턴식 행동을 나타내는 반면, 비-구조화된 유체는 그렇지 않았다.
도 1은 임의의 염의 부재 하에 CCC 중에 8% 지방 알코올의 유동학적 프로필을 도시한 것이다. 대조군은 1% NaCl을 함유한 CCC였다. CCC(염 없이)는 점도가 낮기 때문에(약 32.5cps) 대조군으로 직접 사용할 수 없다. 모든 지방 알코올은 CCC를 점성 액체로부터 구조화된 젤로 변환시켰고, C12 알코올의 영향이 가장 효과적이었다.
실시예

15% 지방 알코올을 함유하는 CCC를 준비하고 편광 검경 영상을 촬영했다(도시 안됨). 편광이 비등방성 결정을 통과할 때 두 광선으로 분해하여 복굴절을 초래한다. 이 지방 알코올을 함유하는 포뮬라는 잘 분산된, 미세 비등방성 결정을 함유하여, 매끄럽고 진한 로션 같은 외관을 제공했다.
Claims (11)
- a) C10 -16 알코올 에톡실레이트 설페이트의 염, 베타인 계면활성제 및 알킬 폴리글루코사이드를 함유하는 계면활성제; 및 b) 조성물의 8중량% 이상의 C12 -18 지방 알코올을 함유하는 수성 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 계면활성제가 조성물의 적어도 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 또는 13중량%의 양으로 존재하는 조성물.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, C10 -16 알코올 에톡실레이트 설페이트의 염이 임의의 다른 계면활성제보다 많은 양으로 존재하는 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, C10 -16 알코올 에톡실레이트 설페이트의 염이 소듐 라우릴 에테르 설페이트를 함유하는 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, C10 -16 알코올 에톡실레이트 설페이트의 염이 평균 2몰의 에틸렌 옥사이드를 보유한 소듐 라우릴 에테르 설페이트를 함유하는 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 베타인 계면활성제가 코카미도프로필 베타인을 함유하는 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 알킬 폴리글루코사이드가 데실 글루코사이드를 함유하는 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 계면활성제가 이 계면활성제의 총 중량을 기준으로 C10 -16 알코올 에톡실레이트 설페이트의 염 60 내지 70중량%, 베타인 계면활성제 20 내지 30중량% 및 알킬 폴리글루코사이드 5 내지 15중량%를 함유하는 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 계면활성제가 이 계면활성제의 중량을 기준으로 C10 -16 알코올 에톡실레이트 설페이트의 염 66 내지 67중량%, 베타인 계면활성제 24 내지 25중량% 및 알킬 폴리글루코사이드 9 내지 10중량%를 함유하는 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 지방 알코올이 스테아릴 알코올을 함유하는 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 조성물을 피부 또는 모발에 적용하고 세척하고, 경우에 따라 물로 린스하는 것을 포함하는 클렌징 방법.
