Claims (4)
- 데이터전극구동장치가 화상데이터를 액정표시장치 패널에 전송하여 휘도 균일성을 향상시키기 위한 액정표시장치의 구동장치에 있어서,상기 데이터전극구동장치는,라인별 화상데이터를 일시적으로 저장하고, 상기 화상데이터를 전송하는 래치 레지스터 회로;상기 래치 레지스터 회로로부터 상기 화상데이터를 전송받아 스위치 제어 신호로 가공하는 스위치 제어 회로;상기 스위치 제어 신호를 검출하고, 상기 스위치 제어 신호가 스케닝 주기동안 변화하지 않는 경우 카운트 횟수를 하나씩 증가시키고, 각각의 데이터 전극의 대기 전압 오프셋의 수를 계산하며, 상기 대기 전압 오프셋의 수를 오프셋 시간으로 변환하고, 상기 데이터 전극을 상기 오프셋 시간 동안 중간 전위로 시프트하는 검출 카운트회로;상기 검출 카운트회로를 거친 상기 스위치 제어 신호를 디지털 신호에서 스위치를 제어할 수 있는 신호로 변환하는 전압 레벨 시프터;상기 전압 레벨 시프터로부터 상기 스위치를 제어할 수 있는 신호를 전송받아 스위치 소자를 통하여 데이터 전극 신호를 송출하는 구동장치 송출회로를 포함하는 액정표시장치의 구동장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 오프셋 시간은 상기 대기 전압 오프셋의 수에 비례하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구동장치.
- 화상데이터를 액정표시장치의 데이터 전극 구동장치로 전송하는 방법에 의하여 휘도 균일성을 향상시키기 위한 액정표시장치의 구동방법에 있어서,스케닝 주기동안 각각의 데이터 전극의 대기 전압 오프셋의 수를 계산하는 검출 카운트 회로를 이용하여, 상기 대기 전압 오프셋의 수를 오프셋 시간으로 변환하는 단계와;상기 오프셋 시간 동안 데이터 전극을 중간 전위로 시프트하는 단계와;상기 오프셋 시간이 종료되면 상기 데이터 전극을 다음 데이터에 대한 전위로 시프트하는 단계를 포함하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 오프셋 시간은 상기 대기 전압 오프셋의 수와 비례하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
