Abstract

본 고안의 목적은 봉투 및 엽서를 자동 공급하고 마지막 장 공급에서 종이의 꾸겨짐과 인쇄 문자의 굴곡을 개선하는데 그 목적이 있다.
상기 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 고안의 용지 공급 장치는 코크 수단들과 픽업 수단들 간에 일정한 이격 거리를 유지시키기 위한 용지 지지 수단과, 상기 용지 지지 수단을 수납하고 상기 코크 수단들과 상기 픽업 수단들 간의 이격 거리를 조정하기 위해 상기 용지 지지 수단을 좌우로 이동 가능하게 하여 상기 이격의 크기를 조정하는 노크 업 플레이트와, 상기 용지 지지 수단을 좌우로 이동시키기 위한 이송 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
이상에서 살펴본 바와 같이 본 고안에 따르면 봉투 및 엽서의 마지막 장을 공급할 때 인쇄 문자의 굴곡(skew) 및 용지 잼을 막아주는 효과가 있다.

Description

용지 공급 장치
본 고안은 용지 공급 장치에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 봉투 및 엽서의 마지막 장(last sheet)의 인쇄 품질을 개선시키기 위한 용지 공급 장치에 관한 것이다.
도 1a는 수동 용지 공급을 수행하는 경우 일반적인 용지 공급 장치를 나타낸 정면도이고, 도 1b는 수동 용지 공급을 수행하는 경우 일반적인 용지 공급 장치를 나타낸 측면도이다.
도 1a, b에 도시된 바와 같이 수동으로 봉투 및 엽서를 공급할 때 봉투 가이드 (3)를 세우고 수동으로 봉투 및 엽서를 공급하기 위해 노크 업 플레이트(knock up plate;4)를 뒤로 밀어서 1 장씩만 수동으로 급지한다.
도 2a는 자동 용지 공급을 수행하는 경우 일반적인 용지 공급 장치를 나타낸 정면도이고, 도 2b는 자동 용지 공급을 수행하는 경우 일반적인 용지 공급 장치를 나타낸 측면도이다.
도 2a, b에 도시된 바와 같이 자동으로 봉투 및 엽서를 공급할 때 봉투 가이드(3)를 세우고 봉투 가이드(3)를 기준으로 봉투 및 엽서를 비축한 후 자동으로 용지를 급지한다.
앞에서 살펴본 바와 같이, 종래의 프린터 시스템의 용지 공급 장치에서 수동 용지 공급을 지원하는 시스템은 사용자가 수동으로 용지를 1장씩만 넣어야 되는 문제점이 있었다.
한편, 자동 용지 공급을 지원하는 시스템은 수동 용지 공급의 문제를 해결하여 많은 양의 용지를 연속으로 인쇄할 수 있으나, 마지막장에서 봉투 가이드(3)를 젖혀서 사용하는데 인쇄 용지가 봉투 또는 엽서인 경우 일반적인 용지(A4 크기)보다 길이가 짧아서 좌측의 코크부(21)까지 용지가 가지 못한다.
따라서, 두 개의 픽업부들 중 우측 픽업부(12)에만 봉투 또는 엽서가 접촉되고, 좌측 픽업부(11)와 좌측 코크부(21)는 직접 접촉되므로 두 개의 픽업부(11,12)가 회전식 마찰력의 차이로 인한 인쇄 문자의 굴곡(skew) 및 종이 잼(paper jam)이 발생하는 문제점이 있었다.
본 고안의 목적은 봉투 및 엽서를 자동 공급하고 마지막 장 공급에서 종이의 꾸겨짐과 인쇄 문자의 굴곡을 개선하는데 그 목적이 있다.

상기 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 고안의 용지 공급 장치는 코크 수단들과 픽업 수단들 간에 일정한 이격 거리를 유지시키기 위한 용지 지지 수단과, 상기 용지 지지 수단을 수납하고 상기 코크 수단들과 상기 픽업 수단들 간의 이격 거리를 조정하기 위해 상기 용지 지지 수단을 좌우로 이동 가능하게 하여 상기 이격의 크기를 조정하는 노크 업 플레이트와, 상기 용지 지지 수단을 좌우로 이동시키기 위한 이송 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로한다.
이하, 상기한 본 고안의 목적들, 특징들, 그리고 장점들을 첨부된 도면에 나타낸 본 고안의 바람직한 실시예를 통해 보다 상세히 설명한다.
도 3a는 일반 용지를 인쇄하는 경우 본 고안의 용지 공급 장치를 나타낸 정면도이고, 도 3b는 일반 용지를 인쇄하는 경우 본 고안의 용지 공급 장치를 나타낸 측면도이다.
도시된 바와 같이 노크 업 플레이트(4)에 코크부(23)가 구비된 용지 지지부(10)를 삽입하여 일반용지를 사용할 때 용지 지지부(10)의 위치를 도 3a와 같이 위치시켜 용지 공급에 방해를 주지 않게 한다. 이때 용지 지지부(10)는 도 3b에 도시된 바와 같이 노크 업 플레이트(4)의 하측에 위치하게 된다. 이는 노크 업 플레이트(4)가 도면의 A부분에 도시된 바와 같이 계단 형태로 우측 부분이 상기 용지 공급 장치의 두께만큼 돌출되어 있으므로 가능하다.
도 4a는 봉투 및 엽서를 인쇄하는 경우 본 고안의 용지 공급 장치를 나타낸 정면도이고, 도 4b는 봉투 및 엽서를 인쇄하는 경우 본 고안의 용지 공급 장치를 나타낸 측면도이다.
도시된 바와 같이 노크 업 플레이트(4)에 용지 지지부(10)를 삽입하여 봉투 및 엽서를 인쇄할 때 용지 지지부(10)의 위치를 도 4a와 같이 가→나의 위치로 이동시킨다. 이때 용지 지지부(10)는 레일(13)을 타고 올라가서 도 4b에 도시된 바와 같이 노크 업 플레이트(4)보다 높은 면을 유지해서 픽업부(12)부가 코크부(23)와 밀착되는 상태가 되기 때문에 코크부(21)와 픽업부(11)는 계속해서 일정한 이격(gap) 거리(즉, 용지 지지부(10)의 두께에 해당되는 크기)를 유지하게 되므로, 이 봉투의 마지막 장을 공급할 때 코크부(21)와 픽업부(11)가 접촉되지 않음으로써 용지 공급에 방해를 주지 않아 올바른 인쇄를 할 수 있다. 이는 노크 업 플레이트(4)에서 "나" 부분이 "가" 부분보다 높이가 높음에 따라 기인한 것이다.
이상에서 살펴본 바와 같이 본 고안에 따르면 봉투 및 엽서의 마지막 장을 공급할 때 인쇄 문자의 굴곡(skew) 및 용지 잼을 막아주는 효과가 있다.
이상 본 고안의 바람직한 실시예에 대해 상세히 기술되었지만, 본 고안이 속하는 기술 분야에 있어서 통상의 지식을 가진 사람이라면, 첨부된 청구 범위에 정의된 본 고안의 정신 및 범위를 벗어나지 않으면서 본 고안을 여러 가지로 변형 또는 변경하여 실시할 수 있음을 알 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 본 고안의 앞으로의 실시예들의 변경은 본 고안의 기술을 벗어날 수 없을 것이다.

Claims (7)

  1. 용지의 로딩하기 위해 회전 운동하는 복수의 픽업 수단과, 상기 용지를 상기 픽업 수단에 밀착시키도록 상기 각각의 픽업 수단에 일대일로 대응하는 복수의 코크 수단을 포함하는 용지 공급장치에 있어서, 상기 복수의 픽업 수단들 중 상기 용지에 밀착되지 않은 소정의 픽업 수단과 상기 소정의 픽업 수단에 대응하는 소정의 코크 수단 간에 일정한 이격 거리를 확보하기 위한 이격 확보수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 용지 공급 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 이격 확보 수단은, 상기 코크 수단들과 상기 픽업 수단들 간에 일정한 이격 거리를 유지시키기 위한 용지 지지 수단; 상기 용지 지지 수단을 수납하고 상기 코크 수단들과 상기 픽업 수단들 간의 이격거리를 조정하기 위해 상기 용지 지지 수단을 좌우로 이동 가능하게 하여 상기 이격의 크기를 조정하는 노크 업 플레이트; 및 상기 용지 지지 수단을 좌우로 이동시키기 위한 이송 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 용지 공급 장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 이송 수단은, 두 단계 구조의 형상을 갖는 레일인 것을 특징으로 하는 용지 공급 장치.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 노크 업 프레이트에서, 상기 용지 지지 수단이 좌우 이동하는 거리만큼 상기 노크 업 프레이트를 양분하여 제 1 부분이 제 2 부분보다 상기 용지 지지 수단 두께만큼 돌출되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 용지 공급 장치.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 노크 업 프레이트는, 상기 소정의 픽업 수단과 상기 소정의 픽업 수단에 대응하는 상기 소정의 코크 수단 간에 일정한 이격 거리를 확보하기 위해 상기 용지 지지 수단을 상기 제 2 부분으로 이동시켜 상기 용지 지지 수단의 두께만큼의 이격 거리를 확보하는 것을 특징으로 하는 용지 공급 장치.
  6. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 노크 업 프레이트는, 상기 복수의 픽업 수단을 모두가 상기 용지에 밀착되면 상기 복수의 픽업 수단들과 이에 대응하는 상기 복수의 코크 수단들 간에 추가적인 이격을 확보하지 않게하기 위해 상기 용지 지지 수단을 상기 제 1 부분으로 이동시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 용지 공급 장치.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 복수의 픽업 수단과 상기 복수의 코크 수단은 각각 두 개인 것을 특징으로 하는 용지 공급 장치.
