도 2는 본 발명의 바람직한 제1 실시예에 따른 전지 모듈의 사시도와 일측정면도이다.

도4는 본 발명의 바람직한 제1 실시예에 따른 전지 셀의 부피 팽창에 따른 소화부의 변화를 설명하기 위한 도면이다.
도 5는 본 발명의 바람직한 제2 실시예 및 제3 실시예에 따른 파쇄부를 설명하기 위한 평면도이다.
도 6은 본 발명의 바람직한 변형 실시예에 따른 파쇄부를 설명하기 위한 단면도이다.

Claims (11)
- 수직 방향 또는 수평 방향으로 적층된 복수개의 파우치형 전지 셀; 및
상기 파우치형 전지 셀 인근에 위치하는 소화부;를 포함하고,
상기 소화부는 소화물질이 내장된 소화팩, 상기 파우치형 전지 셀과 상기 소화팩 사이에 개재된 압전 소자, 및 상기 파우치형 전지 셀과 상기 소화팩 사이에 개재된 하나 이상의 파쇄부를 포함하되,
상기 파쇄부는, 상기 압전 소자에서 발생한 전압에 의해 소정 각도로 변형되어, 상기 소화팩을 파단시키는 칼날부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 소화부가 구비된 전지 모듈.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 소화팩은 상기 파우치형 전지 셀의 일면 또는 양면과 밀착하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 소화부가 구비된 전지 모듈.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 압전 소자는 상기 파우치형 전지 셀의 일면 중앙에 위치하며, 상기 압전소자와 상기 파쇄부 사이에는 연결회로가 구비된 것을 특징으로 하는 소화부가 구비된 전지 모듈.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 파쇄부는, 상기 파우치형 전지 셀 또는 소화팩에 고정되는 결합부, 및 상기 결합부에서 연장된 칼날부를 포함하며, 상기 칼날부는 전기 활성 고분자(Electro Active Polymer)로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 소화부가 구비된 전지 모듈.
- 제4항에 있어서,
상기 파쇄부는 상기 파우치형 전지 셀의 전극 리드 인근에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 소화부가 구비된 전지 모듈.

- 제4항에 있어서,
상기 칼날부는 상기 결합부 가장자리를 따라 복수개 구비된 것을 특징으로 하는 소화부가 구비된 전지 모듈.
- 제4항에 있어서,
상기 칼날부는 상기 결합부와 동일한 두께로 연장되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 소화부가 구비된 전지 모듈.
- 제4항에 있어서,
상기 칼날부는 상기 결합부 가장자리에서 멀어질수록 두께가 감소하는 것을 특징으로 하는 소화부가 구비된 전지 모듈.
- 제8항 또는 제9항에 있어서,
상기 칼날부와 상기 결합부가 연결되는 부분에는 홈부가 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 소화부가 구비된 전지 모듈.
- 제1항 내지 제5항, 제7항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 전지 모듈을 포함하는 배터리 팩.
