Abstract

The present invention relates to a scalp cleansing composition and a method for preparing the same, and more specifically, to a scalp cleansing composition comprising: ethanol; glycerin; vinegar; PEG-60 hydrogenated castor oil; a surfactant; 1,2-hexanediol; centella asiatica extract; licorice extract; panthenol; sodium citrate; disodium EDTA; gluconolactone; citric acid; salicylic acid; menthol; camphor; arginine; caprylyl glycol; a hydroxyacetophenone-based compound; and a balance of water, and a method for preparing the same.

Description

Composition for scalp cleansing and method for producing the same

According to embodiments of the present invention, the present invention relates to a scalp cleansing composition and a method for manufacturing the same.

The scalp is composed of the epidermis, dermis, and subcutaneous tissue. The stratum corneum of the scalp undergoes turnover, and is replaced with a new stratum corneum in a cycle of about one month. In the case of a healthy scalp, small stratum corneum sheds during turnover and is replaced with new stratum corneum cells. However, if turnover deviates from the normal state and the stratum corneum cells are partially excessive, they may clump together into visible clumps and shed, which is called dandruff. Such dandruff can be caused by increased sebum secretion from the scalp, increased proliferation and activity of microorganisms, and abnormal keratinization due to abnormal scalp metabolism.

In addition, changes in temperature or humidity during daily life, exposure to sunlight, or pollutants such as fine dust can irritate and contaminate the scalp, and the scalp condition can also worsen due to stress or nutritional deficiencies. Therefore, in order to solve these problems that can occur on the scalp, various scalp care products are used to cleanse and clean the scalp and hair.

Currently, scalp care products on the market, such as scalp scaling or scalp exfoliation management products, are applied to the hair before shampooing and then rinsed with water, or applied to the scalp, allowed to absorb, and then physically exfoliated by finger massage (e.g., physical scaling (scrubbing) function). There is the inconvenience of having to additionally use shampoo or conditioner after using the product, and secondary irritation or damage may occur due to product residue.

Therefore, there is a need for the development of a scalp and hair cosmetic composition having scalp scaling and cleansing functions that can be easily removed from scalp care products during the rinsing process, can be conveniently used with the functions of a shampoo or conditioner, and can wash away residues well or minimize damage to the scalp and hair caused by residues.

The present invention, in order to solve the mentioned problems, provides a scalp cleansing composition that minimizes physical damage to the scalp, has high removal performance for old scalp keratin and contaminants, and can remove contaminants from the scalp with mild cleansing power while reducing irritation to the scalp, while providing a shampoo or conditioning effect.

However, the problems to be solved by the present invention are not limited to those mentioned above, and other problems not mentioned will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the description below.

In one embodiment, a scalp cleansing composition comprises, per 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition, 25.0 parts by weight to 30.0 parts by weight of ethanol; 5.0 parts by weight to 10.0 parts by weight of glycerin; 5.0 parts by weight to 10.0 parts by weight of vinegar; 5.0 parts by weight to 10.0 parts by weight of PEG-60 hydrogenated castor oil; 1.0 parts by weight to 5.0 parts by weight of two or more amphoteric surfactants; 1.0 parts by weight to 5.0 parts by weight of 1,2-hexanediol; 1.0 parts by weight to 3.0 parts by weight of gluconolactone; 0.05 parts by weight to 1.0 parts by weight of panthenol; 0.05 parts by weight to 1.0 parts by weight of Centella asiatica extract; 0.05 parts by weight to 1.0 parts by weight of licorice extract; It may include 0.05 part by weight to 1.0 part by weight of salicylic acid; 0.05 part by weight to 1.0 part by weight of menthol; 0.05 part by weight to 1.0 part by weight of camphor; 0.05 part by weight to 1.0 part by weight of arginine; 0.05 part by weight to 1.0 part by weight of caprylyl glycol; 0.05 part by weight to 1.0 part by weight of a hydroxyacetophenone-based compound; 0.01 part by weight to 1.0 part by weight of citric acid; 0.01 part by weight to 1.0 part by weight of sodium citrate; 0.01 part by weight to 1.0 part by weight of disodium EDTA; and the remainder of water.

According to one embodiment, the surfactant includes a sultaine-based surfactant and a betaine-based surfactant, and a mixing ratio (by mass) of the sultaine-based surfactant to the betaine-based surfactant may be 1:0.5 to 1:2.

According to one embodiment, the betaine surfactant includes at least one or more of Coco-Betaine, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Lauramidopropyl Betaine, Lauryl Betaine, Undecylenamidopropyl Betaine, Minkamidopropyl Betaine, and Shea Butteramidopropyl Betaine, or a combination thereof, and the sultaine surfactant includes Lauryl Sultaine, Lauryl Hydroxysultaine, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Coco-Hydroxysultaine. and Lauramidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, or a combination thereof.

According to one embodiment, the scalp cleansing composition further includes lactobionic acid and pyrrolidroxamic acid; and each of these may be present in an amount of 0.01 part by weight to 0.5 part by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition.

According to one embodiment, the mixing ratio (by weight) of the panthenol, the purslane extract, and the licorice extract may be 1:0.5 to 2:0.5 to 2.

According to one embodiment, the scalp cleansing composition may be a scalp cleansing toner or shampoo.

According to one embodiment, a method for manufacturing a scalp cleansing composition comprises the steps of: mixing a first component and purified water to form an aqueous phase in a first reactor; mixing a second component and ethanol to form an oily phase in a second reactor; introducing the oily phase into the first reactor and mixing to solubilize the oily phase in the aqueous phase; adding a third component to the first reactor after the solubilizing step to form a mixture; adjusting a pH of the mixture; and filtering. , wherein the first component is glycerin, vinegar, a surfactant, panthenol, gluconolactone, 1,2-hexanediol, and disodium editiate, the second component is PEG-60 hydrogenated castor oil, salicylic acid, menthol, camphor, a hydroxyacetophenone-based compound, and caprylyl glycol, the third component is 1,2-hexanediol, a centella asiatica extract, and a licorice extract, and the step of adjusting the pH may be to adjust the pH of the mixture to 4.5 to 6.5 by adding an appropriate amount of arginine, citric acid, and sodium citrate.

According to one embodiment, the method for preparing a scalp cleansing composition may be a method for preparing a scalp cleansing composition according to an embodiment of the present invention.

The scalp cleansing composition of the present invention has an excellent scalp keratin removal effect, excellent removal performance for old scalp keratin, and a good scalp contaminant cleansing effect, and can be easily washed off with water, and can also provide a shampoo or conditioning effect to the hair.

Since the scalp cleansing composition of the present invention can maintain its quality for a long time after opening, it can prevent the scalp care (e.g., exfoliation) effect from deteriorating.

Hereinafter, the scalp cleansing composition of the present invention and the method for manufacturing the same will be specifically described with reference to examples. However, the present invention is not limited to these examples.

According to one embodiment, the scalp cleansing composition of the present invention may include: ethanol; glycerin; vinegar; PEG-60 hydrogenated castor oil; two or more amphoteric surfactants; 1,2-hexanediol; gluconolactone; panthenol; centella asiatica extract; licorice extract; salicylic acid; menthol; camphor; arginine; caprylyl glycol; hydroxyacetophenone compound; citric acid; sodium citrate; disodium EDTA; fragrance; and a balance of water.

According to one embodiment, the scalp cleansing composition can effectively remove scalp contaminants or wastes (e.g., dust, sweat, sebum, bacteria, oil, residues and compounds of scalp styling products, scalp shampoos, rinses, conditioning agents, treatments, etc.), dead skin cells, dandruff, etc. In addition, it can provide excellent cleansing power while reducing physical damage and lowering the occurrence of irritation, wounds, etc.

According to one embodiment, the ethanol may be applied without limitation as long as it is a product having a grade applicable to a cosmetic composition, which facilitates availability, dispersion, and mixing according to the characteristics of each component of the composition, and can effectively remove product deterioration, sebum, waste, keratin, boils, etc. of the scalp (or hair). Considering the mentioned function and the phase stability of the composition, the ethanol may be included in an amount of 25.0 to 30.0 parts by weight with respect to the scalp cleansing composition.

In one embodiment, the glycerin can provide functions such as a hair and skin conditioning agent, a moisturizer, etc. For example, the glycerin can be CAS No. 56-81-5 (or EC No 200-289-5(I)). In one embodiment, the glycerin can be included in an amount of 5.0 parts by weight to 10.0 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition. This is to provide the functions mentioned, reduce the feeling of residue, and prevent clogging of pores in the scalp or skin trouble due to use of a large amount.

According to one embodiment, the scalp cleansing composition may further comprise ethylhexylglycerin. This may provide effective conditioning and moisturizing properties for the scalp and hair, deodorizing properties of the composition (e.g., inhibiting bacterial growth), and a solvent function for dissolving the components of the composition. For example, the ethylhexylglycerin may be CAS No. 70445-33-9. For example, the ethylhexylglycerin may be included in a mixing ratio (w/w) of 0.01 to 0.5 with respect to the glycerin to provide the aforementioned functions and prevent residue during the cleansing process.

According to one embodiment, the vinegar may be a liquid composed of diluted acetic acid obtained by naturally and/or artificially fermenting barley malt, apple wine, wine, distilled alcohol or beer, molasses, etc. as Western vinegar. In one embodiment, the PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil may provide surfactant and cleansing functions. For example, the PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil may correspond to CAS No. 61788-85-0. In one embodiment, the PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil may be included in an amount of 5.0 parts by weight to 10.0 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition. By applying the mentioned content range, the scalp cleansing function (e.g., removal of dead skin cells, waste products, and contaminants) can be provided, and product residues can be minimized during the rinsing process with water.

In one embodiment, the surfactant includes an amphoteric surfactant, and may include, for example, alkyl betaines, alkyl sultaines, alkylamidoalkyl betaines, alkyl amidopropyl hydroxy sultaines, alkylamphoacetates, alkyl diamphoacetates, etc. having _C8 to _C24 carbon atoms. In one embodiment, the surfactant may reduce irritation and increase cleansing power and foaming power by applying two or more amphoteric surfactants. In particular, Coco-Betaine is a natural surfactant extracted from coconut oil and may provide the functions of a conditioner, a viscosity agent, and a foaming agent. It is a mild, hypoallergenic surfactant that does not excessively stimulate the skin mucosa, and can provide antibacterial and antistatic effects and a conditioning effect.

For example, the betaine-based surfactant may further include at least one or more of alkyl betaines, amido betaines, sulfobetaines, hydroxysulfobetaines, amidosulfobetaines, phosphobetaines, imidazolinium betaines, alkyl amido betaines, alkylamidepropyl betaines, alkyldimethyl amine betaines, alkyldimethyl betaines, apricotamidopropyl betaine, coco amido betaine, coco betaine, cocoamidopropyl betaine, cocodimethyl betaine, lauryl betaine, lauryl amidopropyl betaine, witgermamidopropyl betaine, isostearamidopropyl betaine, myristamidopropyl betaine, palmitamidopropyl betaine, undecylanamidopropyl betaine, and 2-alkyl-N-carboxymethyl-N-hydroxyethyl imidazolinium betaines. Here, alkyl may be alkyl having 8 to 24 carbon atoms.

For example, the sultaine-based surfactant may include at least one or more of Lauryl Sultaine, Lauryl Hydroxysultaine, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Coco-Hydroxysultaine, and Lauramidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, or a combination thereof.

According to one embodiment, the mixing ratio (by mass) of the sultaine surfactant to the betaine surfactant may be 1:0.5 to 1:2. Preferably, it may include coco-betaine (CAS No. 68424-94-2) and lauryl hydroxysultaine. This can increase the hair and skin conditioning functions of the sultaine surfactant to the betaine surfactant as well as the cleansing and foaming effects, thereby providing the scalp care and shampooing or conditioning effects of the scalp cleansing composition at the same time.

According to one embodiment, the surfactant may be included in an amount of 1.0 to 5.0 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition. By applying such an amount, hair and skin conditioning functions can be provided, scalp cleansing power can be increased, and the residual feeling of the composition's components can be reduced.

In one embodiment, the surfactant may be free of anionic surfactants.

According to one embodiment, the surfactant may further include an amphoteric surfactant of at least one or more of Sodium Lauroamphoacetate or Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate, Sodium Cocoyl Alaninate, TEA-Cocoyl Glutamate, and Potassium Cocoate, or a combination thereof.

In one embodiment, the 1,2-hexanediol may be an alcohol-based aqueous solvent and a preservative. For example, the 1,2-hexanediol may be CAS No. 6920-22-5 (or EC No. 230-029-6). In one embodiment, the 1,2-hexanediol may be included in an amount of 1.0 to 5.0 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition. By applying the aforementioned content, the availability and mixing of the components may be facilitated, and the preservability of the product may be improved.

According to one embodiment, the 1,2-hexanediol is added in a further mixture with t-butyl alcohol (CAS No. 75-65-0), wherein the t-butyl alcohol comprises a mixing ratio (w/w) of 0.02 to 1 with respect to the 1,2-hexanediol, which can increase the availability and dispersibility of the component in the solvent.

According to one embodiment, the gluconolactone, as a skin conditioning agent, is a polyhydroxy acid (PHA) with a relatively large molecular weight, has little skin irritation, increases moisture retention and a skin barrier, and can provide a conditioning effect and an exfoliating effect. For example, the gluconolactone may be CAS No. 90-80-2. According to one embodiment, the gluconolactone may be included in an amount of 1.0 to 3.0 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition. By applying the mentioned content range, the conditioning effect and the exfoliating effect can be enhanced, and the residual feeling can be reduced.

According to one embodiment, the panthenol may provide the functions of a hair and skin conditioning agent and a moisturizer. For example, the panthenol is a precursor of vitamin B5, is broken down in the body and converted into pantothenic acid, and the panthenol may provide functions of strengthening the skin barrier, skin regeneration, moisture supply, and moisturizing. For example, the panthenol may be CAS No. 81-13-0 (D-Form) or 16485-10-2. According to one embodiment, the panthenol may be included in an amount of 0.05 to 1.0 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition. By applying the mentioned content, it is possible to prevent scalp drying due to cleansing, activate moisture supply and scalp regeneration, and soothe irritation and reduce residual feeling, thereby preventing pore clogging.

According to one embodiment, the Centella Asiatica Extract may be a natural extract extracted from the whole plant of Centella asiatica, having a conditioning agent (softener) function. For example, the Centella Asiatica Extract may be CAS No. 84696-21-9 or 84776-24-9. According to one embodiment, the Centella Asiatica Extract may be included in an amount of 0.05 part by weight to 1.0 part by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition. By applying the mentioned content, the function of the Centella Asiatica Extract can be effectively provided, while preventing skin irritation and reducing the feeling of residue during the cleansing process.

According to one embodiment, the Glycyrrhiza Uralensis (Licorice) Extract has a conditioning agent (softener) function and may be a natural extract extracted from the whole plant of Glycyrrhiza uralensis. For example, the Glycyrrhiza Uralensis Extract may be CAS No. 94349-91-4. The Glycyrrhiza Uralensis Extract may be included in an amount of 0.05 to 1.0 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition. By applying the aforementioned content, the function of the Glycyrrhiza Uralensis Extract can be effectively provided, while preventing skin irritation and reducing the feeling of residue during the cleansing process.

According to one embodiment, the mixing ratio (by weight) of the herb extract, the licorice extract, and the panthenol may be 1:0.5 to 2:0.5 to 2.

According to one embodiment, the scalp cleansing composition may further comprise a natural extract providing a conditioning function. For example, at least one or more of Zanthoxylum Piperitum Fruit Extract (CAS No. 97404-53-0), Pulsatilla Koreana Extract (extracted from the whole plant of Pulsatilla koreana), and Usnea Barbata (Lichen) Extract (CAS No. 84696-53-7) or a combination thereof may be further included. The additional natural extract may be included in a mixing ratio (w/w) of 0.01 to 0.1 with respect to the licorice extract so as to increase the conditioning function and reduce the residual feeling. When applied as a mixture thereof, they may all be included in the same content (e.g., 1:1:1). For example, it may be included in an amount of 0.005 parts by weight to 0.1 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition.

According to one embodiment, the salicylic acid can be applied as a conditioning agent, a preservative, an exfoliating agent, and/or a pH adjusting agent. For example, the salicylic acid can be CAS No. 69-72-7. According to one embodiment, the salicylic acid can be included in an amount of 0.05 parts by weight to 1.0 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition. That is, it can be added in an appropriate amount to adjust the pH of the composition to form a weakly acidic region.

In one embodiment, the menthol may be an aromatic compound for providing a flavoring agent or a refreshing sensation, for example, I-menthol, racemic menthol, etc. For example, the menthol may be selected from CAS No. 1490-04-6, 15356-70-4, 2216-51-5, or 89-78-1. In one embodiment, the menthol may be present in an amount of 0.05 part by weight to 1.0 part by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition. By applying the aforementioned content, a refreshing sensation may be provided when the product is used, and skin irritation and residual sensation may be reduced.

According to one embodiment, the camphor is a ketone derived from or synthetically obtained from the wood of the camphor tree (Cinnamomum camphora) and may be CAS No. 76-22-2 or 464-49-3. According to one embodiment, the camphor has the functions of a fragrance and a plasticizer and may be included in an amount of 0.05 to 1.0 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition.

According to one embodiment, the camphor may be further mixed with at least one of Cinnamomum Camphora (Camphor) Leaf Extract (CAS No. 92201-50-8), Cinnamomum Camphora (Camphor) Bark Oil (CAS No. 8008-51-3), and Cinnamomum Camphora (Camphor) Branch/Leaf Extract (CAS No. 92201-50-8). Each of these may be included at a mixing ratio (w/w) of 0.01 to 0.1 with respect to the camphor. Preferably, the Cinnamomum Camphora (Camphor) Branch/Leaf Extract can be applied for fragrance and skin conditioning.

According to one embodiment, the arginine has the function of a flavoring agent, a hair conditioning agent, and/or a skin conditioning agent, and can be applied as a pH adjusting agent. For example, the arginine can be CAS No. 74-79-3 (L-Form) or 7200-25-1. According to one embodiment, the arginine can be included in an amount of 0.05 part by weight to 1.0 part by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition. That is, it can be introduced in an appropriate amount to adjust the pH of the composition to form a weakly acidic region.

According to one embodiment, the caprylyl glycol can enhance antibacterial and preservative effects in an environment where a surfactant is present, as an antimicrobial agent and antioxidant (i.e., a preservative), in addition to the functions of a hair conditioning agent and a skin softening agent. For example, the caprylyl glycol can be CAS No. 1117-86-8. The caprylyl glycol can be, based on 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition,

It can be included in an amount of 0.05 to 1.0 parts by weight. This can enhance the conditioning function and reduce residual feeling and irritation. In addition, the caprylyl glycol can be added together with the hydroxyacetophenone compound to provide excellent antibacterial and preservative effects against both bacteria and fungi (yeast and mold).

According to one embodiment, the hydroxyacetophenone compound can help dissolve lipophilic compounds as well as antibacterial agents and antioxidants (i.e., preservatives). In addition, it is friendly to the skin and can improve skin moisturizing function, skin soothing effect, and skin barrier strengthening. For example, it can be a natural substance extracted from plants such as comfrey, zelkova tree, and wheat sprouts. For example, the hydroxyacetophenone compound can be selected from a compound represented by the following chemical formula 1.

In one embodiment, in the chemical formula 1, R ₁ is selected from hydrogen or methyl, and R ₂ may be selected from hydrogen, a hydroxyl group, or a -OCH ₃ group. For example, a mixture of 3-hydroxyacetophenone and 4-hydroxyacetophenone can be applied to enhance the antiseptic function, skin moisturizing and barrier, and improve the soothing effect. The mixing ratio (w/w) thereof may be 1:1 to 2 (e.g., 3-hydroxyacetophenone: 4-hydroxyacetophenone).

According to one embodiment, the hydroxyacetophenone compound may be included in an amount of 0.05 to 1.0 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition. By applying the mentioned content range, the antiseptic function can be increased and skin irritation and residual feeling can be reduced.

In one embodiment, the citric acid may be used as a pH adjusting agent and as a moisturizer. It is primarily used to adjust the acid-alkaline balance and may provide properties of an antioxidant and preservative. In one embodiment, the citric acid may be included in an amount of 0.01 to 1.0 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition.

According to one embodiment, the sodium citrate is applied as a preservative and pH adjuster, for example, the sodium citrate may be CAS No. 994-36-5, 6132-04-3 (dihydrate) or 68-04-2 (anhydrous). The sodium citrate may be included in an amount of 0.01 part by weight to 1.0 part by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition. That is, it may be added in an appropriate amount to adjust the pH of the composition to form a weakly acidic region.

According to one embodiment, the disodium EDTA can provide excellent antibacterial and antiseptic effects against both bacteria and fungi (yeast and mold) by providing a preservative function. For example, it can be CAS No. 139-33-3 or 6381-92-6. The disodium EDTA can be included in an amount of 0.01 part by weight to 1.0 part by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition. By applying the mentioned content range, it is possible to provide preservative and antiseptic functions and reduce scalp irritation and residual feeling.

According to one embodiment, the scalp cleansing composition further includes a fragrance, and the fragrance may be present in an amount of 0.01 to 1.0 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition. Any fragrance applicable to a cosmetic composition may be applied without limitation, and is not specifically mentioned herein.

According to one embodiment, the scalp cleansing composition may further include C6-12 perfluoroalkylethanol, which acts as a conditioning agent, and the C6-12 perfluoroalkylethanol may be included in an amount of 0.05 parts by weight to 2 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition. According to one embodiment, the C6-12 perfluoroalkylethanol may be included in a mixing ratio (w/w) of 0.01 to 0.2 with respect to the glycerin.

According to one embodiment, the scalp cleansing composition may further include lactobionic acid. The lactobionic acid is a polyhydroxy acid (PHA) derived from Milk Sugar, has an excellent exfoliating effect, and may provide a scalp protection function. For example, the lactobionic acid may be CAS No. 96-82-2. According to one embodiment, the lactobionic acid may be included in an amount of 0.1 part by weight to 1 part by weight per 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition.

According to one embodiment, the scalp cleansing composition may further include caprylhydroxamic acid (CAS No. 7377-03-09) to enhance antibacterial and antiseptic functions. The mixing ratio (w/w) of the hydroxyacetophenone compound to the caprylhydroxamic acid may be 1:1:0.8 to 1.2.

According to one embodiment, the lactobionic acid and pyrrolidroxamic acid may each be included in an amount of 0.01 to 2 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition.

According to one embodiment, the mixing ratio (w/w) of the lactobionic acid to the pyrrolidone hydroxamic acid may be 1:0.1 to 1.

According to one embodiment, the water corresponds to a solvent and may be included as a remainder to adjust the concentration or viscosity depending on the intended use of the scalp composition. For example, the water may be included as purified water in an amount of 20 to 50 parts by weight or 10 to 15 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the scalp cleansing composition.

According to one embodiment, the extract in the present specification may be purchased and used as a commercially available one, and in some cases, may be manufactured by a method commonly applied in the technical field of the present invention, for example, in the case of the extract, a pressing extraction method, a solvent extraction method, etc., but is not limited thereto.

According to one embodiment, the scalp cleansing composition may be a scalp cleansing toner or shampoo.

According to one embodiment, the scalp cleansing composition of the present invention can be manufactured by preparing an aqueous phase and an oil phase, mixing them, and then performing a pH adjustment process after they are available. This forms an optimal available state by considering the characteristics (such as solubility) of each component, and by mixing them, excellent phase stability can be achieved, and performance degradation due to long-term storage can be prevented. In addition, since it provides an excellent scalp care function and has a shampoo and/or conditioning function, the product can be easily washed off by a simple washing with water after being applied to the scalp, and the feeling of use can be improved by reducing the feeling of residue, and the shine and texture of the hair can be improved.

According to one embodiment, the method for preparing the scalp cleansing composition may include: a step of mixing a first component and purified water to form an aqueous phase in a first reactor; a step of mixing a second component and ethanol to form an oily phase in a second reactor; a step of introducing the oily phase into the first reactor and mixing to solubilize the oily phase in the aqueous phase; a step of adding a third component to the first reactor after the solubilizing step to form a mixture; a step of adjusting a pH of the mixture; and a step of filtering.

According to one embodiment, the method for manufacturing the scalp cleansing composition may have the same components and composition of the final product as or refer to the scalp cleansing composition mentioned above.

According to one embodiment, the step of forming the water-soluble component may include placing the first component including glycerin, vinegar, a surfactant, panthenol, gluconolactone, 1,2-hexanediol, and disodium editiate into a first reactor, adding purified water, and mixing and dissolving the first component while stirring.

According to one embodiment, the step of forming the oil phase may include placing the second component including PEG-60 hydrogenated castor oil, salicylic acid, menthol, camphor, a hydroxyacetophenone-based compound, and caprylyl glycol into a second reactor, adding ethanol, and mixing and dissolving while stirring.

According to one embodiment, the step of solubilizing the oil phase within the water phase comprises introducing the oil phase into a first reactor and mixing it with the water phase within the first reactor, so that the water phase and the oil phase in a soluble state are mixed and solubilized, thereby providing a uniformly dispersed or mixed composition.

In one embodiment, the step of adding the third component to the first reactor to form a mixture comprises adding the third component to a mixture of the aqueous phase and the oil phase within the first reactor to form a composition by mixing the mixture. The third component may be 1,2-hexanediol, a centella asiatica extract, and a licorice extract.

According to one embodiment, the step of adjusting the pH may include adjusting the pH of the mixture to 4.5 to 6.5 by adding appropriate amounts of arginine, citric acid, and sodium citrate.

According to one embodiment, the first component, the second component, and the third component are classified as available components according to the solvent, and additionally or selectively added components can also be classified according to these criteria to determine the order of addition. For example, the first component may further include lactobionic acid and pyrrolidroxamic acid. The second component may further include C6-12 perfluoroalkylethanol and ethylhexylglycerin.

According to one embodiment, all processes can be performed at a temperature of room temperature (rt) to 15° C. unless otherwise specified.

Example

According to the ratio shown in Table 1, they were sequentially introduced, stirred, and mixed. That is, glycerin, vinegar, surfactant, panthenol, gluconolactone, 1,2-hexanediol, and disodium editiate and purified water were mixed in the first reactor to prepare an aqueous portion. PEG-60 hydrogenated castor oil, salicylic acid, menthol, camphor, hydroxyacetophenone-based compounds, caprylyl glycol and ethanol were mixed in the second reactor to prepare an oily portion, which was then introduced into the first reactor and mixed with the aqueous portion. Next, 1,2-hexanediol, centella asiatica extract and licorice extract were added to the mixture and mixed, and then arginine, citric acid and sodium citrate were added to adjust the pH to 5. The final mixture was passed through a mesh filter to separate lumpy foreign substances, etc., to obtain a scalp cleansing composition (i.e., scalp cleansing toner).

(1) Bubble generation power

In order to compare the foaming power (the degree to which bubbles are generated) of each of the examples and comparative examples, 250 ml of each 5% aqueous solution was taken and bubbles were generated at 800 rpm for 20 seconds (3 sets) using the rotor of a foam tester (SITA foam tester R-2000, manufacturer: SITA Messtechnik GmbH). After the rotor was stopped, the volume (mL) of the generated bubbles was measured. The results are shown in Table 1.

(2) Hair residue

To measure the amount of amphoteric surfactants remaining on hair in the examples and comparative examples, a Rubine Dye Test was conducted.

1 g of the composition of Examples and Comparative Examples was rubbed on a wool swatch with 10 g of 33°C water for 1 minute, and then washed with running water for 30 seconds. After washing, the wool swatch was immersed in a 0.5% Rubin dye solution for 3 minutes, and the degree of color development was measured using a colorimeter to obtain a colorimeter contrast value (ㅿa) indicating the degree of red color development. As a result, the amount of hair residue could be confirmed as described in Table 2.

Rubin dye is an anionic pigment and ionically bonds with the amphoteric surfactant complex adsorbed on the scalp and hair. Therefore, when the degree of Rubin dye dyeing is analyzed by a chromaticity meter, the amount of surfactant remaining on the scalp and hair can be compared. If the degree of Rubin dye dyeing is high, the ㅿa value, which indicates the degree of redness of the chromaticity meter indicating the degree of coloring, increases, which means that there is a lot of surfactant residue that damages the hair.

In Table 2, it can be confirmed that the products of Examples 1 to 4 of the present invention have excellent foaming power and a small amount of residue on the hair/scalp after washing by using two or three types of amphoteric surfactants. On the other hand, it can be confirmed that Comparative Examples 1 and 2 have weak foaming power and a large amount of residue, and Comparative Example 3 has increased foaming power but a large amount of residue.

The present invention can provide a scalp cleansing composition that reduces damage and irritation to the scalp/hair and has high cleansing power.

(3) Sensory evaluation

Evaluation of scalp improvement effects

Examples 1 to 4 and Comparative Examples 1 to 3 were prepared as evaluation products, applied to the scalp once a day for two weeks, then washed with water. After using each product, a questionnaire was administered to the subjects as shown in Table 3 to conduct a sensory evaluation of the scalp improvement effect. The evaluation scale was 0 to 5 points. The self-diagnosis criteria for each item are as shown in Table 3 below. The results of the sensory evaluation are the averages of 5 people in each Comparative Example group and 6 people in each Example group, and are shown in Table 4 below.

It can be confirmed that the scalp cleansing composition of the present invention effectively cleanses scalp contaminants, dead skin cells, etc., has excellent effects of improving scalp itchiness, improving dead skin cell loss, and improving scalp odor, and is hypoallergenic.

Evaluation of hair conditioning effects

Examples 1 to 4 and Comparative Examples 1 to 3 were prepared as evaluation products, applied to the scalp once a day for two weeks, washed with water, and after using each product, the subjects (15 men and 15 women) were surveyed as in Table 3 to conduct a sensory evaluation of the conditioning effect on the hair. The evaluation scale was 0 to 5 points. The average value as a result is shown in Table 5. The self-diagnosis criteria for each item are as follows: Hair feel: very good: 5, good: 4, average: 3, bad: 2, very bad: 1

In Table 5, it can be confirmed that the hair is made soft and the scalp and hair are well cleansed without any residue due to the conditioning effect. That is, it can be confirmed that the scalp cleansing composition of the present invention is excellent in improving the scalp condition, scalp cleansing, and hair conditioning effects due to the antibacterial action.
