Abstract

According to the present disclosure, a method for providing information related to an item transaction from a user device is disclosed, comprising: obtaining a connection request from a user to a customer support center; connecting the user and the customer support center in response to the connection request; obtaining information from an electronic device associated with the customer support center notifying cancellation of a transaction for at least some of one or more items related to a first order corresponding to the user; and providing the user with information including a result of the cancellation of the transaction.

Description

{APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING INFORMATION RELATED TO ITEM TRANSACTIONS AND METHOD THEREOF}

The present disclosure relates to a device and method for providing information related to an item transaction. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to a method for providing information related to an item transaction, and a user device using the same, which connects a user and a customer support center in response to a request from the user, obtains information from an electronic device associated with the customer support center to cancel a transaction for at least some of one or more items related to a first order corresponding to the user, and provides the user with information including a result of the cancellation of the transaction.

With the development of electronic technology, e-commerce has become a part of shopping. Customers can purchase items online without having to go to a shopping mall or market, and items purchased online are delivered to the delivery address requested by the customer.

Items ordered online may differ in condition or quality from what the customer expected because the customer cannot see the actual item in person. In addition, items ordered online are not received immediately by the customer but are shipped from the distribution center and then delivered to the delivery location. Therefore, there is a possibility of various problems such as the possibility of delivery being delayed due to insufficient inventory, the item being damaged or spoiled, and the customer no longer needing the item due to delayed delivery.

Considering the characteristics of such e-commerce, it is necessary to provide a cancellation function for customer orders in order to solve various problems that occur in connection with item transactions. In particular, if a customer's order is related to multiple items and a problem occurs only for some of them, it would be undesirable for both the seller and the customer to cancel the transaction for all of the multiple items related to the order, so it would be more desirable to provide a function that allows the transaction to be canceled only for some items.

In this regard, reference can be made to prior literature such as KR20180059080A and KR20110129740A.

The problem to be solved by the present embodiment is to provide a user device and a method thereof, which obtain a connection request from a user to a customer support center, connect the user and the customer support center in response to the connection request, obtain information from an electronic device associated with the customer support center to cancel a transaction for at least some of one or more items related to a first order corresponding to the user, and provide the user with information including the result of the transaction cancellation, in order to solve the above-described problem.

The technical problems to be solved by this embodiment are not limited to the technical problems described above, and other technical problems can be inferred from the following embodiments.

A method for providing information related to an item transaction in a user device according to one embodiment comprises the steps of: obtaining a connection request from a user to a customer support center; connecting the user and the customer support center in response to the connection request; obtaining information from an electronic device associated with the customer support center notifying cancellation of a transaction for at least some of one or more items related to a first order corresponding to the user; and providing information including a result of the cancellation of the transaction to the user.

According to one embodiment, the step of obtaining the connection request may include at least one of the steps of obtaining a telephone connection request with the customer support center; and the steps of obtaining an online chat connection request with the customer support center.

According to one embodiment, the information notifying that the transaction is cancelled may include at least one of information notifying that the transaction will be stopped if the transaction has not yet been completed and information notifying that a refund for the item will be processed after the transaction has been completed.

In one embodiment, the information notifying that a refund for an item will be processed after the transaction is completed may further include information determining whether the item subject to the refund will be collected.

According to one embodiment, the information notifying that the transaction is cancelled may include at least one of information notifying which item among the one or more items is to be cancelled, information notifying the reason for canceling the transaction, and information on the amount to be paid to the user.

According to one embodiment, the reason for canceling the transaction may include at least one of the following: obtaining information from the user notifying a change in intent to purchase at least some of the one or more items; running out of stock for at least some of the one or more items; having a problem with delivery progress for at least some of the one or more items; having a problem with payment for at least some of the one or more items; and having a problem with the status of at least some of the one or more items.

In one embodiment, based on the reason for canceling the transaction, feedback may be provided regarding future trading of one or more of the items.

According to one embodiment, the method for providing information related to the item transaction may further include a step of calculating an amount to be paid to the user based on information notifying cancellation of the transaction.

In one embodiment, the step of calculating an amount to be paid to the user may include at least one of the steps of determining a first amount to be returned to the user from the item price paid by the user; determining whether to return a shipping amount related to the first order to the user and at least one of a second amount to be returned; and determining whether to pay additional compensation to the user and at least one of a third amount to be paid.

According to one embodiment, the step of providing the user with information including the result of canceling the transaction may include the step of further displaying the result of canceling the transaction on a screen displaying the result of processing the first order.

According to one embodiment, the information including the result of canceling the transaction may include at least one of information including a list of items for which the transaction was canceled, information including a list of items for which the transaction was not canceled, and information including an amount to be paid to the user according to the cancellation of the transaction.

In one embodiment, the information including the list of items for which the transaction is not cancelled may include quantity information calculated by deducting a portion of a quantity of a transaction quantity from the transaction quantity, if the transaction is cancelled for a particular type of item among the one or more items.

In one embodiment, the information including the list of items for which the transaction was cancelled may include information indicating the reason for canceling the transaction.

According to one embodiment, the method for providing information related to the item transaction further includes the step of providing information suggesting a purchase of an item to the user, wherein the item suggested for purchase to the user can be determined based on a result of canceling the transaction.

A user device providing information related to an item transaction according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a transceiver, a memory storing instructions, and a processor, wherein the processor is connected to the transceiver and the memory to obtain a connection request from a user to a customer support center, connect the user and the customer support center in response to the connection request, obtain information from an electronic device associated with the customer support center notifying cancellation of a transaction for at least some of one or more items related to a first order corresponding to the user, and provide information including a result of the cancellation of the transaction to the user.

Specific details of other embodiments are included in the detailed description and drawings.

According to the present disclosure, a user device and method for providing information related to an item transaction can more flexibly resolve problems that occur in connection with an item transaction by enabling cancellation of a transaction for some of a plurality of items included in an order.

The effects of the invention are not limited to the effects mentioned above, and other effects not mentioned will be clearly understood by a person skilled in the art from the description of the claims.

The terms used in the embodiments are selected from commonly used terms as much as possible while considering the functions of the present disclosure, but this may vary depending on the intention of a technician working in the field, precedents, the emergence of new technologies, etc. In addition, in certain cases, there are terms arbitrarily selected by the applicant, and in this case, the meanings thereof will be described in detail in the corresponding description section. Therefore, the terms used in the present disclosure should be defined based on the meanings of the terms and the overall contents of the present disclosure, rather than simply the names of the terms.

Figure 1 is a schematic diagram showing a system that provides information related to item trading according to one embodiment.

According to various embodiments, a system for providing information related to item trading includes a user device (110), an electronic device (120), and an administrator's device (130). The system for providing information related to item trading according to one embodiment may further include an administrator's device (130). The system for providing information related to item trading according to one embodiment may further include a network that supports information transmission and reception among at least some of the user device (110), the electronic device (120), the administrator's device (130), and an external device.

The user device (110), the electronic device (120), and the administrator's device (130) of the system providing information related to item trading may include a transceiver, a memory, and a processor. In addition, each of the user device (110), the electronic device (120), and the administrator's device (130) means a unit that processes at least one function or operation, which may be implemented by hardware or software, or a combination of hardware and software.

Meanwhile, throughout the embodiments, the user device (110), the electronic device (120), and the administrator's device (130) are referred to as separate devices and servers, but this may be a logically divided structure and may be implemented by separate functions in one device or server. For example, the electronic device (120) may include the user device (110) or may be configured as an integral part by being combined with the user device (110). However, even in this case, the method of providing information related to a series of item transactions performed by transmitting and receiving data between the user device (110), the electronic device (120), and the administrator's device (130) may be performed similarly. In the case of a device that includes the user device (110) or is configured as an integral part by being combined with the user device (110), communication with the user device (110) may be understood as a process of exchanging data between its components (for example, with the processor of the corresponding device) within the device.

According to an embodiment, the user device (110), the electronic device (120), and the administrator's device (130) may include a plurality of computer systems or computer software implemented as network servers. For example, at least some of the user device (110), the electronic device (120), and the administrator's device (130) may refer to a computer system and computer software that are connected to a lower device that can communicate with another network server through a computer network such as an intranet or the Internet, receive a task performance request, perform the task accordingly, and provide the performance result. In addition, at least some of the user device (110), the electronic device (120), and the administrator's device (130) may be understood as a broad concept that includes a series of applications that can operate on a network server, and various databases built therein. For example, at least some of the user device (110), the electronic device (120), and the administrator's device (130) may be implemented using a network server program provided in various ways according to an operating system such as DOS, Windows, Linux, UNIX, or MacOS.

The user device (110) is a device for a user to purchase an item through an e-commerce website, and may include a computer device, a mobile communication terminal, a server, etc. The user device (110) may be implemented as a computer or a portable terminal that can transmit and receive various information with the electronic device (120) through a network. The user device (110) may provide information received from the electronic device (120) to the user, and may receive input from the user and transmit it to the electronic device (120). The input received from the user may include various forms of input, such as a click using a mouse, a touch using a touch pad or a touch screen, voice recognition, and other electronic inputs.

The user device (110) may receive information from an electronic device (120) or the like and provide it to the user. Depending on the embodiment, the user device (110) may directly generate information and provide it to the user, or may reconstruct information received from an electronic device (120) or the like and provide it to the user.

More specifically, the user device (110) obtains a connection request from the user to the customer support center, and connects the user and the customer support center in response to the connection request. The customer support center is associated with the electronic device (120). The customer support center may be managed by the electronic device (120), but is not limited thereto. In addition, even when the customer support center is managed by the electronic device (120), the specific support information may be transmitted by a separate device or a natural person, etc. According to one embodiment, the customer support center is managed by the electronic device (120), but the specific customer support information is provided through the manager's device (130) used by the manager, and the electronic device (120) may transmit the customer support information received from the manager's device (130) to the user device (110). In this regard, the customer support information may include a response corresponding to a customer's inquiry, an approval response corresponding to a customer's transaction cancellation request, and additionally provided compensation information.

In some embodiments, customer support information may be generated directly from the electronic device (120) and provided to the user device (110).

The user device (110) obtains information notifying a change in status for at least some of one or more items related to the first order corresponding to the user from an electronic device associated with the customer support center. That is, the information notifying a change in status may be for all or some of the items related to the first order.

Information notifying a change in status for at least some of the items related to the first order may include information notifying that a transaction for at least some of the items related to the first order is canceled, information notifying that a re-delivery is performed for at least some of the items related to the first order, and the like. For convenience of explanation, an embodiment will be described below in which the information notifying a change in status corresponds to information notifying that a transaction for at least some of the items is canceled, but the following explanation may also be applied to other cases in which the information notifying a change in status corresponds to information notifying that a re-delivery is performed.

The user device (110) provides the user with information including the result of changing the status of at least some of one or more items related to the first order (hereinafter, for convenience of explanation, described as “information including the result of canceling a transaction”).

More detailed information regarding the operation of the user device (110) is described later in FIGS. 2 and 3, etc.

The electronic device (120) is a device that generates various information and provides the information to other servers and devices, and may include a computer device, a mobile communication terminal, a server, etc. For example, the electronic device (120) may generate information notifying that a transaction for at least some of the items related to an order is canceled and provide the information to the user device (110). The electronic device (120) may generate at least some of the various information based on information and requests received from other servers and devices. For example, the information notifying that a transaction for at least some of the items related to an order is canceled may be information generated in response to a transaction cancellation request received from the administrator's device (130). However, the information generated by the electronic device (120) is not limited to being generated based on information and requests received from other servers and devices.

In addition, the electronic device (120) can manage a customer support center and connect users with the customer support center in response to requests from user devices (110), etc. The customer support center can be a center that plays a role in solving problems that arise in connection with item transactions by receiving various requests or complaints from customers and providing various information such as responses, instructions, and compensation in response thereto.

The manager's device (130) may include a computer device, a mobile communication terminal, a server, etc. The manager's device (130) may be a terminal operated and managed by the manager, and may be a terminal used to perform a series of management operations. For example, the manager's device (130) may receive customer inquiries or complaints from the electronic device (120), and based on the inquiries or complaints, input (or request or instruct the electronic device (120)) a response or compensation to be provided to the customer. According to one embodiment, the manager's device (130) may provide a user interface on a screen, etc., and receive input from the manager through the user interface and transmit it to the electronic device (120).

The operations related to a series of information processing methods according to various embodiments may be implemented by a single physical device, or may be implemented in a manner in which multiple physical devices are organically combined. For example, some of the components included in the system providing information related to item trading may be implemented by one physical device, and the remaining parts may be implemented by another physical device. For example, one physical device may be implemented as a part of the user device (110), and the other physical device may be implemented as a part of the electronic device (120) or another external device. In some cases, each component included in the system providing information related to item trading may be distributed and arranged in different physical devices, and the distributed components may be organically combined to perform the functions and operations of the system providing information related to item trading. For example, the user device (110) of this specification includes at least one sub-device, and some of the operations described as being performed by the user device (110) may be performed by the first sub-device, and other operations may be performed by the second sub-device.

FIG. 2 is a flowchart illustrating an operation of an information processing method of a user device in a system that provides information related to item trading according to an embodiment of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 2, a user device (110) according to an embodiment obtains a connection request from a user to a customer support center (201). The connection request according to an embodiment may include a telephone connection request with a customer support center. The connection request according to an embodiment may include an online chat connection request. In addition, the connection request may include various methods for communicating with the customer support center, such as various communication services conducted online (e.g., chatbots and video calls), without being limited to a specific method.

In response to the connection request, the user device (110) connects the user and the customer support center (202). The operation of the user device (110) connecting the user and the customer support center may be interpreted as including various operations for mediation between the customer support center and the user. For example, even if the direct subject that conveys the user's intention to the customer support center and receives a response from an employee of the customer support center (e.g., an administrator who operates the administrator's device (130)) is the electronic device (120), if the user device (110) transmits a user input to the electronic device (120) or receives an employee's response from the electronic device (120) and outputs it on the screen, the user device (110) may be interpreted as connecting the user and the customer support center.

The user device (110) obtains information from the electronic device (120) notifying that a transaction for at least some of the items related to the first order corresponding to the user is to be cancelled (203). The information notifying that the transaction is to be cancelled may include at least one of information notifying that the transaction is to be stopped if the transaction is not yet completed and information notifying that a refund for the items is to be processed after the transaction is completed. Depending on the embodiment, the information notifying that the transaction is to be cancelled may include information that prevents the transaction from being initiated.

If the information notifying that a transaction is cancelled includes information notifying that a refund for an item is processed after the transaction is completed, the information notifying that a refund is processed according to an embodiment may further include information determining whether to collect (at the delivery location) the item subject to the refund. In this regard, whether to collect the item subject to the refund may be determined by the electronic device (120), but is not limited thereto, and various devices may be the determination subject. According to an embodiment, the user device (110) that has received the information notifying that a refund is processed may determine whether to collect the item subject to the refund.

Whether or not to collect an item subject to a refund may be determined by considering the price of the item, the weight and volume of the item, the ease of assigning workers for collection, etc., but is not limited to a specific example.

Information notifying cancellation of a transaction according to an embodiment may include at least one of information notifying an item for which the transaction is to be cancelled among one or more items, information notifying a reason for canceling the transaction, and information on an amount to be paid to the user. Information on an amount to be paid to the user may include, in addition to the item price to be directly refunded to the user, additional information on an amount to compensate for the user's inconvenience. In addition, although information on an amount to be paid to the user has been described for convenience of explanation, this should be understood as a concept including various compensations that can be paid to the user, and may include various types of compensations such as coupons that can be used like cash, coupons that can be used for a discount when purchasing an item, or other gifts.

According to an embodiment, the reasons for canceling a transaction may be divided into a first cancellation reason for canceling some of one or more items related to the first order and a second cancellation reason for canceling all of one or more items related to the first order. However, this is exemplary, and depending on the embodiment, at least some of the reasons for canceling a transaction may be applied to both cases of canceling some of one or more items related to the first order and cases of canceling all of them.

Reasons for canceling a transaction according to an embodiment of the present invention may include at least one of the following: obtaining information from a user notifying a change in intent to purchase at least some of one or more items; running out of stock for at least some of the items; a problem with the delivery of at least some of the items (including cases where delivery fails and cases where delivery is made but is delayed by a specified deadline); a problem with the payment of at least some of the items; and a problem with the condition of at least some of the items (e.g., where the product is damaged, spoiled, or expired).

More detailed examples of reasons for canceling a transaction are described later with reference to Figures 5 and 6.

According to an embodiment, information notifying cancellation of a transaction may be generated based on information received from the administrator's device (130), generated based on information received from the user, generated directly by the electronic device (120), and the like, and may be generated based on various methods. For example, a reason for cancellation of a transaction may be determined in response to an administrator input received through a user interface provided on the screen of the administrator's device (130). In this regard, the administrator input may be received in response to a user's request, but is not limited thereto, and there may be various cases, such as an administrator entering a reason for cancellation of a transaction under his/her own judgment, or an employee related to delivery execution, such as a delivery person, entering a reason for cancellation of a transaction. Alternatively, a reason for cancellation of a transaction may be determined in response to a complaint filed by a user through a customer support center or a user's request.

Based on the reason for canceling the transaction, feedback regarding future trading of the item may be provided. Such feedback may be provided by the electronic device (120), may be determined by the administrator based on the suggestion information provided by the electronic device (120), and may be provided based on the results directly determined by the administrator without making a separate suggestion, and various embodiments may exist. The provided feedback may include various examples. For example, if the reason for canceling the transaction is due to a delay in delivery, the provided feedback may include information suggesting or instructing that additional delivery personnel be hired to reduce the workload of each delivery personnel. Alternatively, if the reason for canceling the transaction is due to a complaint that the item does not have enough remaining shelf life, the provided feedback may include information suggesting or instructing that the minimum remaining shelf life hurdle required when shipping the item be increased. Alternatively, if the reason for canceling the transaction is due to a damaged item, the provided feedback may include information suggesting or instructing that more replenishing materials be used. These feedbacks may be applied to all items at once, but depending on the embodiment, they may be applied only to cancelled items, or only to related items of cancelled items, and further, the scope of items to which the feedback is applied may be determined on a per-feedback basis (for example, if transaction cancellations due to item damage occur frequently only for certain items, more replenishing materials may be instructed to be used only for those items).

According to one embodiment, the user device (110) may calculate an amount to be paid to the user based on information notifying that a transaction is cancelled. The user device (110) may calculate an amount to be paid to the user based on at least one of the following operations: determining a first amount to be returned to the user from the item price paid by the user; determining whether to return the delivery amount related to the first order to the user and at least one of the second amount to be returned; and determining whether to pay additional compensation to the user and at least one of the third amount to be paid. For example, if the user purchases an item worth 10,000 won but cancels it due to a delay in delivery, the user device (110) may determine the first amount to be 10,000 won, return the delivery amount, determine the second amount to be 3,000 won, pay additional compensation, and determine the third amount to be 5,000 won, thereby determining to return a total of 18,000 won. Alternatively, if a user purchases an item worth 10,000 won but cancels it due to a simple change of mind, the user device (110) may determine the first amount as 10,000 won, decide not to return the delivery amount, and decide not to pay additional compensation, thereby determining a total of 10,000 won to be returned. In this regard, in addition to the case where the delivery amount is not returned, there may be various embodiments, such as the case where the delivery amount is returned but the amount calculated by multiplying the delivery amount by the ratio of the number of cancelled items to the total number of items traded is returned. In addition, if a third amount is paid, the amount to be paid may be determined by considering the specific reason for cancellation. For example, if the item is damaged, a higher level of compensation may be paid than if the item has some time left on its shelf life but the shelf life is somewhat imminent.

As in the example above, the amount to be paid to the user may be determined by considering the reason for cancellation of the transaction. In particular, whether to pay the second amount and the third amount and the specific amount thereof may be determined by considering the reason for cancellation of the transaction.

The user device (110) provides the user with information including the result of canceling the transaction (204). According to one embodiment, the user device (110) may provide the user with the result of canceling the transaction by further displaying it on the screen displaying the result of processing the first order. In this regard, the screen displaying the result of processing the first order may be understood as a broad concept that includes not only the result after the processing of the first order is completed, but also a screen displaying the process in which the first order is being processed and a screen displaying that the first order is scheduled to be processed.

According to one embodiment, information including a result of a transaction cancellation may include at least one of information including a list of items for which the transaction was cancelled, information including a list of items for which the transaction was not cancelled, and information including an amount to be paid to the user upon cancellation of the transaction.

An example of information including the result of canceling a transaction is illustrated in FIG. 3. Referring further to FIG. 3, the result of canceling a transaction may be further displayed on the screen displaying the result of processing the first order (310). In this regard, reference numeral 311 may correspond to information including a list of items for which the transaction has not been canceled, reference numeral 312 may correspond to information including a list of items for which the transaction has been canceled, and reference numeral 313 may correspond to information regarding the final amount to be paid by the customer in consideration of the cancellation of the transaction.

Meanwhile, a screen displaying the result of processing the first order according to an embodiment may display one or more user interfaces (such as "Order Details", "View Receipt") for displaying detailed information, and when there is user input for these user interfaces, a purchase receipt screen (320) and an order details screen (330) may be provided in response thereto. According to the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 3, on the order details screen (330), information such as the item price paid by the user, the item price still to be paid, and the item price to be refunded, etc., in relation to each item, as well as information such as the second amount and the third amount, etc., may be further displayed. For example, information notifying that the amount to be paid for the purchase of an item that the user has not cancelled is 190 yen, information notifying that the amount to be paid to the user upon cancellation of the transaction is 346 yen, etc. may be provided (331).

In one embodiment, the information including the list of items for which the transaction is not cancelled may include quantity information calculated by subtracting a portion of the transaction quantity from the transaction quantity if the transaction is cancelled for a portion of the transaction quantity with respect to a specific type of item among one or more items. For example, with respect to the example of FIG. 3, if the transaction of one of three cartons of milk is cancelled due to damage, the information including the list of items for which the transaction is not cancelled may include quantity information of "2 cartons" which is the original order quantity minus the cancelled quantity (see drawing reference numeral 311).

In one embodiment, information including a list of items for which a transaction has been cancelled may include information indicating a reason for the cancellation of the transaction. For example, with respect to the example of FIG. 3, if the transaction for a container of water and a container of milk has been cancelled due to damage, a phrase such as "Damaged Item" may be displayed as the reason for the cancellation along with information indicating the cancellation of each item (see drawing symbol 312). In relation to this, for items for which the reason for the cancellation of the transaction is the same, the reason for the cancellation may be displayed only once, but is not limited thereto.

Information indicating the reason for the cancellation of a transaction does not necessarily have to be included in the information including the list of items, and there may be various embodiments regarding the method of displaying that information, such as displaying it in a separate space on the screen displaying the results of processing the first order.

According to one embodiment, the user device (110) may further provide the user with information suggesting the purchase of an item. In this regard, the item suggested for purchase to the user may be determined based on the result of the cancellation of the transaction. For example, if the user cancels the purchase of milk, the user device (110) may suggest the purchase of milk sold by another vendor, suggest the purchase of soy milk, and in some cases, suggest the purchase of the same milk product as the cancelled product. The electronic device (120) may determine which item to purchase to the user, but is not limited thereto, and various embodiments may exist, such as the determination being made by an administrator's input or the determination being made by the user device (110).

In some embodiments, the purchase of an item may be suggested by considering not only the item for which the transaction was cancelled, but also the reason for the cancellation. For example, if the reason for the cancellation of the purchase of milk is because the user changed his mind, the purchase of soy milk may be suggested. If the reason for the cancellation of the purchase of milk is because the item was damaged, the purchase of a milk product securely packaged in a plastic container may be suggested.

FIG. 4 is a drawing for explaining a user interface for checking information related to an order and changing a transaction status according to an embodiment.

Referring to FIG. 4, an electronic device (120) according to an embodiment can check information related to an order and provide information for changing a transaction status. A device that has received the information (e.g., a manager's device (130), etc.) can configure and provide a user interface based on the received information (400).

The user interface may provide functionality for retrieving one or more pieces of order information. The functionality for retrieving order information may include functionality for filtering order information based on criteria including at least some of the following: order ID, order status, shipper ID, device ID, customer phone number, and order date and time.

The user interface may provide a function for changing the status of order information with respect to order information. This may include, but is not limited to, a function for changing the status of order information searched according to the search function described above, and there may also be embodiments in which a function for changing the status of order information is provided even though a search function does not exist.

The function for changing the status of the order information may correspond to an interface including a phrase such as "Change status" on the drawing. The authority for changing the status of the order information may be provided to, for example, an administrator, and in this case, FIG. 4 may correspond to a screen displayed on the administrator's device (130), but is not limited thereto. For example, FIG. 4 may include at least one of a screen displayed on a user device (110), a screen displayed on an electronic device (120), and a screen displayed on other external devices.

According to one embodiment, when receiving an input for changing the status of order information, a user interface may be provided for receiving a reason for cancellation of a transaction. In this regard, the input for changing the status of order information may be received from a person who has the authority to change the status of order information, such as an administrator, or may be received from a person who requests to change the status of order information, such as a user or a delivery person. In the latter case, an administrator or the like may further determine whether to approve the request, but the embodiments of the present invention are not limited to such cases.

An example of a user interface for receiving a reason for canceling a portion of a transaction is illustrated in FIG. 5 (500), and a user interface for receiving a reason for canceling an entire transaction is illustrated in FIG. 6 (600). Referring further to FIGS. 5 and 6, a user or an administrator may select whether to cancel a portion of a transaction or a whole transaction, and depending on the selection result, different options for selecting a reason for canceling the transaction may be displayed. For example, in the case of canceling a portion of a transaction, the options for selecting a reason for canceling the transaction may include "Partially out of stock," "Damaged Item," "Expired Item," "Missing Item," etc. (510). Alternatively, in the case of canceling the entire transaction, the options for selecting the reason for canceling the transaction may include "Order Canceled by Customer", "Out of Stock", "Delayed Delivery", "Item Not Received", "Wrong Address", and "Payment Declined" (610). In addition, the options for selecting the reason for canceling the transaction may include options that do not specify the reason for canceling the transaction, which may be to allow cancellation even when the reason for canceling the transaction is unknown or does not exist in the options.

The reasons for cancellation of a transaction described in FIGS. 5 and 6 are only examples, and the contents of the present invention are not limited to such examples. As described above with reference to FIG. 2, at least some of the reasons for cancellation of a transaction may be applied to both cases of canceling some of one or more items related to a first order and cases of canceling all of them. For example, "Expired Item" may be a reason for canceling a transaction for all items, and "Item Not Received" may be a reason for canceling a transaction for only some of the items.

FIG. 7 is a flowchart illustrating an operation of a method in which a user device provides information related to an item transaction according to an embodiment of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 7, a user device (110) according to an embodiment obtains a connection request from a user to a customer support center (710). The connection request according to an embodiment may include at least one of a phone connection request with a customer support center and an online chat connection request.

The user device (110) that has obtained the connection request connects the user and the customer support center in response (720). The operation of the user device (110) connecting the user and the customer support center can be interpreted as including various operations for mediation between the customer support center and the user.

The user device (110) obtains information from an electronic device (120) associated with a customer support center to notify of cancellation of a transaction for at least some of the items related to the first order corresponding to the user (730). The information notifying of cancellation of the transaction may include at least one of information notifying of stopping the transaction if the transaction has not yet been completed and information notifying of proceeding with a refund for the items after the transaction has been completed.

The user device (110) provides the user with information including the result of canceling the transaction (740). According to one embodiment, the user device (110) may provide the result of canceling the transaction to the user by further displaying it on the screen displaying the result of processing the first order.

FIG. 8 is an example diagram of a configuration of a user device that provides advertising content according to one embodiment.

Referring to FIG. 8, the user device (110) includes a transceiver (810), a processor (820), and a memory (830). The user device (110) is connected to an electronic device (120) and other external devices through the transceiver (810), and can exchange data.

The processor (820) may include at least one of the devices described above with reference to FIGS. 1 to 7, or may perform at least one method described above with reference to FIGS. 1 to 7. The memory (830) may store information for performing at least one method described above with reference to FIGS. 1 to 7. The memory (830) may be a volatile memory or a nonvolatile memory.

The processor (820) can control the user device (110) to execute a program and provide information. The code of the program executed by the processor (820) can be stored in the memory (830).

Additionally, the user device (110) of one embodiment may further include an interface capable of providing information to the user.

Meanwhile, the present specification and drawings have disclosed preferred embodiments of the present invention, and although specific terms have been used, they have been used only in a general sense to easily explain the technical contents of the present invention and to help understand the invention, and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention. It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that other modified examples based on the technical idea of the present invention can be implemented in addition to the embodiments disclosed herein.

The user device, electronic device or terminal according to the above-described embodiments may include a processor, a memory for storing and executing program data, a permanent storage such as a disk drive, a communication port for communicating with an external device, a user interface device such as a touch panel, a key, a button, etc. The methods implemented as software modules or algorithms may be stored on a computer-readable recording medium as computer-readable codes or program commands executable on the processor. Here, the computer-readable recording medium includes a magnetic storage medium (e.g., a read-only memory (ROM), a random-access memory (RAM), a floppy disk, a hard disk, etc.) and an optical reading medium (e.g., a CD-ROM, a Digital Versatile Disc (DVD)). The computer-readable recording medium may be distributed to computer systems connected to a network, so that the computer-readable code may be stored and executed in a distributed manner. The medium may be readable by a computer, stored in a memory, and executed by a processor.

The present embodiment may be represented by functional block configurations and various processing steps. These functional blocks may be implemented by various numbers of hardware and/or software configurations that perform specific functions. For example, the embodiment may employ integrated circuit configurations such as memory, processing, logic, look-up tables, etc., which may perform various functions under the control of one or more microprocessors or other control devices. Similarly to the fact that the components may be implemented by software programming or software components, the present embodiment may be implemented in a programming or scripting language such as C, C++, Java, assembler, Python, etc., including various algorithms implemented by a combination of data structures, processes, routines, or other programming configurations. The functional aspects may be implemented by algorithms that are executed on one or more processors. In addition, the present embodiment may employ conventional techniques for electronic environment setting, signal processing, and/or data processing. Terms such as “mechanism,” “element,” “means,” and “configuration” can be used broadly and are not limited to mechanical and physical configurations. The terms can also include the meaning of a series of software processes (routines) in connection with a processor, etc.
