Abstract

The present invention is for maintaining the body temperature of a calf, and separates the living space of a mother cow and the living space of a calf, and installs a heat lamp in the living space of the calf, thereby maintaining the living space of the mother cow and the living space of the calf at different temperatures, thereby maintaining the health of the mother cow and the calf. Description

{A warm box for baby goats}

The present invention relates to a heat box for calves that can maintain the temperature of the living space of the mother cow and the living space of the calf at different temperatures by separating the living space of the mother cow and the living space of the calf and installing a heat lamp in the living space of the calf to maintain the health of the mother cow and the calf at different temperatures.

As a prior art related to technology for maintaining the environment for mother pigs and piglets, Patent Publication No. 10-2263100 (registered on June 3, 2021) discloses a technology for reducing the pig mortality rate by supplying different cooling and heating temperatures to pig pens where sows and piglets live in a livestock house, applying an indirect cooling and heating method instead of a direct convection cooling and heating method to supply cooling and heating to the livestock house to reduce the pig mortality rate, installing various detection devices including a heat detection camera in the livestock house to check changes in the condition of pigs in response to the cooling and heating temperatures, establishing a pig growth database, and physically blocking the space where the sow and piglets live after the feeding time starts and inducing the piglets to move to the sow pen for feeding and then moving to the piglet pen after the feeding time has passed.

In addition, Patent Publication No. 10-1895770 (registered on August 31, 2018) discloses a technology for reducing the pig mortality rate by supplying different cooling and heating temperatures to pig pens where sows and piglets live in a livestock house, applying an indirect cooling and heating method instead of a direct convection cooling and heating method to the livestock house to reduce the pig mortality rate, and installing various detection devices including a heat detection camera inside the livestock house to check changes in the condition of pigs in response to cooling and heating temperatures and constructing a pig growth database.

In addition, Patent Publication No. 10-1651552 (registered on August 22, 2016) discloses a technology regarding a pigsty system for protecting piglets, which comprises a main pen having walls on all sides to protect pigs, a pressure protection belt formed along the walls to protect piglets, a piglet room provided on one side of the main pen and connected to the main pen to form a passage through which piglets can move, a heat-insulating light provided above the piglet room, and an auxiliary cover selectively covering the upper part of the piglet room.

In addition, Patent Publication No. 10-2006-0086648 (published on August 1, 2006) discloses a technology for an eco-friendly pigsty that eliminates the farrowing crate for lactating sows, which is an unreasonable device in a pigsty, and creates a separate piglet protection board under which lactating sows and piglets can live separately, thereby allowing them to live in a piglet-only space during the lactation period and allowing them to be easily dismantled after a certain period of lactation. The technology also discloses a technology for an eco-friendly pigsty that allows lactating sows and piglets to live separately, which is installed in a pleasant and sanitary environment and an economical structure, thereby reducing installation costs by performing double and triple functions, and making it possible to construct a pigsty that is free of infectious diseases, parasites, pests, and odors, and which enables efficient raising and management of sows and piglets, thereby preventing environmental pollution.

The optimal temperature for the space where mother cows and calves live is different. As with other livestock, calves should be kept in an environment with a higher temperature than their mothers.

If calves are kept in an environment with the same temperature as their mothers, they will develop health problems such as diarrhea.

The present invention is intended to solve the above problems, and to maintain an insulating light installed in a calf insulating box at an appropriate height and angle.

In addition, the present invention aims to provide a space where mother cows and calves can live without stress by dividing the space where the mother cows and calves reside.

The present invention is a heat-insulating box for a calf, which is separated from a living space where a mother cow is present, to keep the body temperature of the calf warm, comprising: a frame (100) that divides the space where the calf lives; a height-adjusting frame (130) installed vertically with respect to a bottom surface on an upper portion of an inner side of the frame (100); a support frame height-adjusting guide (131) installed so as to be able to slide up and down on the outer side of the height-adjusting frame (130); a heat-insulating means (200) that is installed so as to be able to move up and down along the height-adjusting frame (130) together with the support frame height-adjusting guide (131) by means of a guide hinge (300); a calf entrance (110) installed on one side of the frame (100); and a windbreak installed on a portion excluding the entrance (110) while surrounding a peripheral side of the frame (100). It is composed of a plate (400), and each of the above components is described in detail below with reference to the drawings.

[Frame (100)]

The frame (100) of the present invention is formed in a hexahedron, as shown in FIGS. 2 to 4.

The calf pen with the conventional thermal insulation lamp was installed in a regular pen, as shown in Fig. 1.

In the present invention, the frame (100) is for installing the heat insulating means (200), the height (angle) adjustment chain (310, 320) of the heat insulating means (200), the windbreak plate (400), and the windproof vinyl (500) described below.

The frame (100) of the embodiment of the present invention may be formed in a hexahedron as shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, but may also be formed in a variety of spaces such as a cylindrical shape.

In addition, the frame (100) may be installed with angle pipes in various shapes not only at the corners as shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, but also at other parts to reinforce strength.

As shown in Fig. 1, the above frame (100) is provided with an entrance door (110) through which calves can enter and exit, and a floor wire mesh (120) is installed on the floor surface.

The above door (110) can be opened and closed by the door hinge (111), as shown in Fig. 2, and a door lock (112) can be installed to restrict the movement of the calf, if necessary. For example, when a calf is sick, the calf can be isolated in the warming box of the present invention to prevent the calf from spreading the disease to other calves.

In addition, it is desirable to install a door mesh (113) on the door (110) to prevent calves from escaping while allowing ventilation.

The above floor wire mesh (120) is preferably installed at a height of at least 130 mm from the floor surface of the cage, to minimize corrosion caused by manure and sawdust on the floor of the cage.

In addition, it is desirable to lay hay on top of the floor wire mesh (120) to help the calf quickly adapt to the warming box.

In addition, on one side of the frame (100), as shown in FIG. 4, a height adjustment frame (130) is further installed vertically relative to the bottom surface in order to install a heat-insulating means (200) described below, and as shown in FIGS. 4 to 8, an upper frame (140) is further installed on the upper side of the height adjustment frame (130) in the left and right directions on the upper side of the frame (100), and a plurality of chain-catching U-shaped rings (141) are installed on the upper frame (140).

In addition, as shown in Fig. 3, when moving the present invention in a manufactured and assembled state, a moving ring (150) may be further installed on one side of the frame (100) to facilitate fixing to a tractor, etc.

In the present invention, the height adjustment frame (130) is installed on one side of the frame (100), as shown in FIGS. 4 to 8, and is preferably installed on the opposite side of the door (110) so as not to be obstructed when a calf enters or exits.

The height adjustment frame (130) described above is for guiding and adjusting the installation height of the insulation means (200) described below, so it is preferable to install two in parallel in the vertical direction. However, considering the weight of the insulation means (200), three or more may be installed. In addition, the lower part of the height adjustment frame (130) is preferably set at a height of 60 cm or more from the floor wire mesh (120) in order to install the insulation means (200) so that insulation is possible without hindering the movement of the calf.

In addition, as shown in FIGS. 4, 5, and 8, a support frame height adjustment guide (131) is installed on the height adjustment frame (130) so as to surround the height adjustment frame (130) on the outside of the height adjustment frame (130) and to be guided to slide freely up and down.

For example, if the height adjustment frame (130) is a 20 mm X 20 mm square pipe, the support frame height adjustment guide (131) may be a 30 mm X 30 mm square pipe.

In addition, as shown in FIGS. 4, 5, and 8, the support frame height adjustment guide (131) is rotatably hinge-connected to the guide hinge (300) described below, and the guide hinge (300) is rotatably hinge-connected to the lower edge (223) of the support frame (200) described below.

As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, an upper frame (140) is installed in the left and right directions on the upper side of the height adjustment frame (130). In addition, a chain-catching U-shaped ring (141) is installed on the upper frame (140).

In the embodiment drawing of the present invention, three chain hook U-shaped rings (141) into which the height adjustment chain (310) is fitted are installed in FIG. 6, and two chain hook U-shaped rings (141) into which the angle adjustment chain (320) is fitted are installed in FIG. 7. In other words, five chain hook U-shaped rings (141) are installed in the five upper frames (140).

However, since the above chain hook U-shaped ring (140) is installed to correspond to the upper circular ring (222) of the support frame and the lower circular ring (224) of the support frame described below, the number is not necessarily limited to five and may be smaller or larger.

In addition, when installing a small number of chain hook U-shaped rings (140), it is possible to simultaneously fasten the height adjustment chain (310) and the angle adjustment chain (320).

[Insulation means (200)]

The heat preservation means (200) of the present invention is assembled so that the height and angle can be adjusted on one side of the frame (100).

It is preferable to use a lamp that easily generates heat, such as a halogen lamp, as the heat-insulating lamp (201) of the above-mentioned heat-insulating means (200).

In addition, as shown in FIGS. 5 to 8, it is preferable to install a heat lamp shade (210) on the heat lamp (201) of the present invention to limit the size so that the light irradiation range from the heat lamp (201) is irradiated within the bottom wire mesh (120) of the frame (100).

The above-mentioned heat lamp shade (210) is supported by a heat lamp protection net (230) installed within a heat lamp support frame (220), as shown in FIGS. 5 to 8.

As described above, when the heat lamp shade (210) is supported by the heat lamp support net (230) and the heat lamp support frame (220), if the height and angle of the heat lamp support frame (220) are adjusted, the height and angle of the heat insulating means (200) are automatically adjusted.

First, the height adjustment function of the above-mentioned insulating light support frame (220) will be examined with reference to FIGS. 6 and 8.

As shown in Fig. 8, one end of a height adjustment chain (310) is inserted and fixed into a lower circular ring (224) formed at the lower edge (223) of the lower support frame (220) of the above-mentioned insulating light support frame.

As described above, with one end of the height adjustment chain (310) fixed to the lower circular ring (224) of the support frame, the other end of the height adjustment chain (310) is fixed to the chain hook U-shaped ring (141) shown in Fig. 6. At this time, depending on the length at which the other end of the height adjustment chain (310) is fixed to the chain hook U-shaped ring (141), the height of the lower end of the insulating light support frame (220) is determined.

That is, if the distance from one end of the height adjustment chain (310) to the other end is shortened, the height of the heat lamp support frame (220) increases from the floor surface, and if the distance from one end of the height adjustment chain (310) to the other end is lengthened, the height of the heat lamp support frame (220) decreases toward the floor surface, so that the user can adjust the height of the heat lamp support frame as needed.

Next, the angle adjustment function of the above-mentioned insulating light support frame (220) will be examined with reference to FIGS. 7 and 9.

As shown in Fig. 7, one end of the angle adjustment chain (320) is inserted and fixed into the upper circular ring (222) formed on the upper edge (221) of the upper support frame (220) of the above-mentioned insulating light support frame.

As described above, while one end of the angle adjustment chain (320) is fixed to the upper circular ring (222) of the support frame, the other end of the angle adjustment chain (310) is fixed to the chain hook U-shaped ring (141) shown in FIGS. 7 and 9. At this time, depending on the length at which the other end of the angle adjustment chain (320) is fixed to the chain hook U-shaped ring (141), the height of the upper end of the heat-insulating light support frame (220) is determined.

That is, if the distance from one end of the angle adjustment chain (320) to the other end is shortened, the height of the upper end of the heat lamp support frame (220) becomes higher from the floor surface, and if the distance from one end of the angle adjustment chain (320) to the other end is lengthened, the height of the upper end of the heat lamp support frame (220) becomes lower toward the floor surface, so that the user can adjust the height of the upper end of the heat lamp support frame (220) as needed.

And, as described above, the angle of the insulating light support frame (200) is adjusted by adjusting the height of the upper part of the insulating light support frame (220).

In other words, first, the height of the lower part of the warming light support frame (220) is determined by the height adjustment chain (310), and then, by adjusting the height of the upper part of the warming light support frame (220) by the angle adjustment chain (320), the angle of the warming light support frame (220) with respect to the bottom surface is adjusted.

In Fig. 6, the lower circular rings (222) of the support frame are made of two, and the corresponding U-shaped chain hooks (141) are made of two, and in Fig. 7, the upper circular rings (224) of the support frame are made of three, and the corresponding U-shaped chain hooks (141) are made of three, but the numbers can be adjusted as needed. For example, if the number of insulating lights (201) of the insulating means (200) is increased and the load is increased, the number can be increased, and if the number of insulating lights (201) of the insulating means (200) is decreased and the load is reduced, the number can be reduced.

[Guide Hinge (300)]

The guide hinge (300) of the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 8, is a hinge-connected structure in which a support frame height adjustment guide (131) that is slidably fitted on the outside of a height adjustment frame (130) and a support frame lower edge (223) formed on the lower side of a heat-insulating light support frame (200) are joined.

Accordingly, the support frame height adjustment guide (131) and the support frame lower edge (223) are linked by the guide hinge (300).

In addition, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 8, it is preferable that the lower circular ring (224) of the support frame installed at the lower edge (223) of the support frame be installed around the guide hinge (300).

By installing the lower circular ring (224) of the support frame as described above, the height adjustment chain (310) can be adjusted up and down near the height adjustment frame (130).

[Windbreak plate (400), windproof vinyl (500)]

The windbreak plate (400) of the present invention is intended to prevent a calf's body temperature from decreasing due to cold wind.

Preferably, as shown in Fig. 11, it is desirable to use a material that allows the interior to be seen so that the manager can visually check the condition of the calf, along with a windbreak function. For example, it can be made of poly carbonate sheet.

In addition, as shown in Fig. 12, the windproof vinyl (500) of the present invention is installed on a door (110), and it is preferable to vertically cut the doorway at 10 cm intervals on the left and right to have a windproof function. By doing so, outside air enters the vertically cut portion to achieve natural ventilation.

In addition, as shown in Fig. 13, the upper part of the frame (100) is preferably opened without adding a structure such as a windbreak plate (400) or windproof vinyl (500) to prevent respiratory diseases in calves and to allow natural ventilation.

For example, in the embodiment of the present invention, the frame (100) is made in the form of a hexahedron, but the frame (100) can be made in various shapes, such as a cylindrical shape, and the frame (100) can also be applied in various shapes, including a square tube.
