Abstract

Description

{NON-FACE-TO-FACE AND AUCTION-TYPE USED CAR SALES SERVICE PROVIDING SYSTEM WITH IMPROVED RELIABILITY}

The present invention relates to a device for providing a non-face-to-face and auction-style used car sales service with improved reliability, and to a technology for providing a used car sales service that enables individual used car sellers to easily sell used vehicles.

The methods of selling a used car owned by an individual can be broadly divided into selling it to a dealer and selling it through a private transaction.

Among these, the method of individual transactions may offer a price advantage over selling to a dealer, but there are problems such as the lack of legal protection for problems that arise after the transaction and the difficulty in securing reliability of the vehicle being sold from the buyer's perspective.

Meanwhile, the method of selling a car through a dealer can be subdivided into various types depending on whether it is conducted in person or through an auction. For example, the most commonly used method in the past was the face-to-face and non-auction method, in which the dealer visits the location of the seller's vehicle or the seller visits the dealer and agrees on the purchase price before the transaction takes place.

In addition, there are face-to-face auction methods in which the seller registers vehicle information, the dealer visits the seller to conduct the transaction after winning the bid through an auction, and a non-face-to-face auction method in which a vehicle diagnostic evaluator visits to diagnose the vehicle's condition to ensure the reliability of the vehicle being sold, and then delivers the vehicle to the winning dealer based on the auction results of the diagnosed vehicle.

However, the aforementioned face-to-face and auction methods lack a vehicle diagnosis process, which may lead to issues with the reliability of the vehicles being sold, and even if the vehicle is sold to a specific dealer, problems such as receiving a depreciation request during the face-to-face transaction process may arise because the transaction is made after a face-to-face meeting with the winning dealer. In such cases, there is a problem that the seller may suffer time-related or mental damage.

In addition, the non-face-to-face auction method has the inconvenience of having to make a separate appointment with a vehicle diagnostic appraiser who diagnoses the seller's vehicle, and there is a problem that diagnostic appraisers who have only completed short-term training and do not have specialized knowledge visit, and bidders do not trust the evaluation results.

Accordingly, the inventor of the present invention completed the present invention after a long period of research and trial and error to solve such problems.
The technology that forms the background of the present invention is disclosed in Korean Patent Publication No. 10-2001-0082409 (August 30, 2001).

The present invention aims to provide a non-face-to-face and auction-style used car sales service providing device that improves reliability so that even when a vehicle seller sells a used car owned by using a non-face-to-face and auction-style method, reliability of the vehicle can be secured. According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the vehicle sales information unit may include a vehicle expected price derivation unit that searches a vehicle transaction database to extract vehicle transaction details corresponding to the vehicle type of the vehicle being sold, and compares a vehicle condition index included in the extracted vehicle transaction details with the vehicle condition index of the vehicle being sold to derive an expected sales price of the vehicle being sold.

According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the vehicle diagnostic center information section provides advantage information separately generated based on the vehicle diagnostic results provided from the vehicle diagnostic center terminal and the image information of the seller vehicle to online auction participants of the seller vehicle, and the advantage information may include the management status of specific parts of the vehicle that can be utilized as a criterion for determining the bid price of the seller vehicle.

According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the auction progress guide unit enables the seller to set a desired selling price of the seller's vehicle through the seller terminal, and if the final bid price as a result of the online auction of the seller's vehicle is lower than the set desired selling price, the online auction of the seller's vehicle currently in progress can be terminated without determining a successful bidder.

According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, when a re-auction proceeding option is set through a seller terminal, the auction proceeding guide unit repeatedly initiates an online auction of the seller vehicle until the final bid price as a result of the online auction of the seller vehicle becomes higher than the set desired selling price, and analyzes the trend of the number of online auction participants of the seller vehicle to provide option setting recommendation information recommending an adjustment of the currently set desired selling price to the seller terminal.

The present invention has the effect of saving time required for selling used cars because the used car seller does not need to make a separate appointment even when selling used cars in a non-face-to-face or auction manner.

The present invention registers as auction items only used cars that have been diagnosed through an authorized, designated vehicle diagnostic center in order to proceed with the auction, thereby providing confidence to auction participants.

The present invention provides image information for judging the condition of a vehicle and provides the results of analyzing the same to auction participants, thereby further enhancing the reliability of the vehicle being sold to auction participants and enabling used car sellers to expect a high bidding price by appealing to the advantages of the vehicle to be sold.

Meanwhile, it is added that even if an effect is not explicitly mentioned herein, the effect and its provisional effect described in the following specification expected by the technical features of the present invention are treated as described in the specification of the present invention.

FIG. 1 is a reference diagram for briefly explaining a non-face-to-face and auction-type used car sales service providing system (hereinafter, “service providing system”) with improved reliability, which comprises a non-face-to-face and auction-type used car sales service providing device (100) (hereinafter, “service providing device”) with improved reliability according to the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 1, the service providing system according to the present invention may be configured to include a seller terminal (10), a dealer terminal (20), a vehicle diagnostic center terminal (30), and a service providing device (100), and each component may be connected to each other through a network.

Here, the seller terminal (10), the dealer terminal (20), and the vehicle diagnostic station terminal (30) are preferably connected to the service providing device (100) via a wireless network. In addition, each terminal is a computing device that is carried, managed, or operated by a user, and may correspond to, for example, a smart phone, a tablet PC, a desktop, etc. According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the seller terminal (10) may mean a terminal managed by a seller who receives the used car sales service according to the present invention to sell a vehicle (used car) of which he or she has ownership, and the dealer terminal (20) may mean a terminal managed by an automobile dealer who receives the used car sales service according to the present invention. Here, the vehicle sales request information may include information on the manufacturer and vehicle type of the seller's vehicle. Specifically, the vehicle diagnostic center guide unit (110) may guide location information of vehicle diagnostic centers capable of diagnosing the seller's vehicle based on the information on the manufacturer and vehicle type of the seller's vehicle included in the vehicle sales request information, and may provide location information of vehicle diagnostic centers located within a certain distance from the location of the seller terminal (10) to the seller terminal (10).

Accordingly, reliable vehicle diagnostic results are generated, and the reliability of the online auction system utilizing the results can be improved.

In addition, according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the vehicle diagnostic center information unit (110) can provide advantage information separately generated based on the vehicle diagnostic results generated by the vehicle diagnostic center and the image information of the seller vehicle provided from the vehicle diagnostic center terminal (30) to the online auction participants of the seller vehicle.

Here, the advantage information may include the maintenance status of specific parts of the vehicle that can be used as a criterion for determining the bid price of the seller's vehicle, and specifically, may include at least one of exchange history, damage level, and aging level as a detailed indicator showing the management status of specific parts of the vehicle. For example, it may include detailed indicators of tires, paint, interior materials, etc. of the seller's vehicle, and if the condition of these specific parts is good, the vehicle diagnostic evaluator of the vehicle diagnostic center provides image information of the corresponding parts through the vehicle diagnostic center terminal (30) so that the advantage information is generated, and through this, the vehicle seller can expect that the final successful bid price of the seller's vehicle will be formed higher than when the advantage information is not provided to online auction participants.

The advantage information generation unit (112) can, for example, analyze the image information generated by shooting a tire to derive information on the manufacturing date, wear, damage, and depreciation of the tire, and can generate advantage information that digitizes and visualizes the derived detailed indicator information.

In addition, the vehicle diagnostic center information unit (110) can provide the vehicle diagnostic center terminal (30) with the past performance inspection history of the seller's vehicle.

Specifically, the vehicle diagnostic center information unit (110) can provide maintenance history, performance inspection history and vehicle evaluation history obtained from the seller terminal (10) or by searching the vehicle transaction database of the relevant vehicle to the vehicle diagnostic center terminal (30).

The vehicle diagnostic center to which the vehicle seller is guided can perform a more accurate diagnosis by using multiple pieces of history information provided from the vehicle diagnostic center guidance section (110), and in particular, since it provides information on specific areas that the vehicle diagnostic center should focus on diagnosing, the efficiency of diagnosis can be increased.

According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the vehicle diagnostic center guide unit (110) analyzes and organizes a plurality of pieces of history information obtained through the seller terminal (10) and the vehicle transaction database, thereby generating vehicle diagnostic characteristic information that intuitively displays the status of each diagnostic item of the vehicle, and provides the same to the vehicle diagnostic center terminal (30). Here, the vehicle diagnostic characteristic information may include grade information for each diagnostic item that allows a vehicle diagnostic evaluator at the vehicle diagnostic center to intuitively check the vehicle status corresponding to each diagnostic item.

The sales vehicle registration book (120) registers a seller's vehicle whose condition has been certified through a diagnosis at a vehicle diagnostic center in an online auction system where used car dealers can bid.

At this time, the sales vehicle registration book (120) can register the advantage information generated by the advantage information generation unit (112) together with the seller's vehicle, and can also register the vehicle diagnosis results provided from the vehicle diagnosis station terminal (30). Here, the vehicle sales guide unit (130) provides an online auction proceeding option that can be set via the seller terminal (10), conducts an online auction according to the set proceeding option, and includes an auction proceeding guide unit (131) that provides option setting recommendation information to the seller terminal (10) to help set the online auction proceeding option based on the status of the seller's vehicle or the online auction proceeding status.
