Description

Plastic wrap with built-in absorbent pad}Plastic wrap with built-in absorbent pad

The present invention relates to a vinyl wrap having an absorbent pad built into it that covers a wide area of a bedsore to prevent wound contamination and facilitate air circulation to the affected area to promote cell growth.

In general, bedsores (decubitus) refer to skin injuries that occur when the back, waist, shoulders, and elbows of a patient lying in bed for a long time come into contact with the floor.

These symptoms of bedsores can be seen in patients who have been bedridden for a long time and are weakened or in patients who cannot freely change positions due to cerebrospinal nerve disorders, and they are likely to occur in areas that are compressed by body weight, especially in areas where bones are exposed.

It can also be caused by pressure from a splint or cast. The skin in the compressed area becomes pale at first because blood flow is poor, and the surrounding area becomes red and tender.

It is one of the most dangerous diseases in which blisters develop later, and as it progresses, it becomes dark and gangrenous, and the parts fall off and ulcers form, producing a foul-smelling secretion.

Using disinfectants can kill normal tissue cells and slow down wound healing.

Among the attached drawings, FIG. 1 is a configuration diagram of a vinyl wrap with a built-in absorbent pad according to the present invention, FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a vinyl wrap with a built-in absorbent pad according to the present invention, and FIG. 3 is a bottom view showing an example of use of a vinyl wrap with a built-in absorbent pad according to the present invention.

As shown in Figures 1 to 3, the vinyl wrap with built-in absorbent pad according to the present invention,

A vinyl bag (100) having an opening formed on one side, a space formed inside, and a number of ventilation holes (150) formed therein,

An absorbent pad (200) inserted into the interior of the above vinyl bag (100),

An air circulation unit (300) composed of an air hose (320) connected to one side of the vinyl bag (100) and an air motor (340) connected to the air hose (320).

It is configured to include an adhesive portion (120) formed on one outer surface of the vinyl bag (100).

The vinyl bag (100) is closed on three sides and has an opening formed only on one side, and a plurality of ventilation holes (150) are formed on the lower surface.

The above-mentioned ventilation holes (150) are formed with a diameter of 8 to 12 mm, and are formed in large numbers on the lower surface of the vinyl bag (100) corresponding to the area of the absorbent pad (200), so that ventilation performance can be exerted on the inside of the vinyl bag (100), and a blow effect can be obtained by exerting an appropriate discharge pressure to blow air to the wounded area.

If the diameter of the ventilation hole (150) is less than 8 mm, there is a risk that the ventilation may be reduced, and if the diameter is more than 12 mm, there is a risk that the blow effect may be reduced because it is excessive and cannot exert appropriate discharge pressure.

An adhesive portion (120) is formed on the outer periphery of the lower surface of the vinyl bag (100). Accordingly, it can be attached to the skin and fixed, and can be removed after use.

By covering the wound (W) with a vinyl bag (100) and then adhering it, the wound can be protected to create a moist environment and prevent the inflow of harmful bacteria from the outside.

The air hose (320) of the above air circulation unit (300) is made of soft material so that it can be freely bent, and can be selectively applied as either an intake hose (320a) that sucks in air inside a vinyl bag (100) or an exhaust hose (320b) that supplies air inside the vinyl bag from the outside.

Therefore, by connecting the intake hose (320a), air in the vinyl bag (100) can be sucked in and discharged to the outside.

By connecting the exhaust hose (320b), outside air can be sucked in and blown into the inside of the vinyl bag (100).

The air motor (340) can ensure ventilation for the wound by injecting or sucking air into the vinyl bag (100) through intake or exhaust operation.

An oxygen supply or ozone supply is connected to the air motor (340). Thus, oxygen or ozone is supplied together with air injection.

Ozone is used to purify the air by taking advantage of its property of being broken down into oxygen, and it has strong sterilizing power, so it can eliminate bacteria from wounds.

Oxygen can help the tissue around the wound regenerate and can help dry up pus, promoting faster healing.

The above absorbent pad (200) is a sanitized absorbent cloth that absorbs pus and blood from a wound and forms a space to allow air to pass through without obstruction.

In addition, it may include a saline solution discharge pipe connected to the outer surface of the lower surface of the vinyl bag (100) and discharging saline solution, and a saline solution storage tank (not shown) connected to the saline solution discharge pipe.

The operation of the present invention configured in this manner is explained as follows.

A vinyl bag (100) with an absorbent pad (200) built into it is attached to the wounded area.

Afterwards, air is injected or sucked through an air hose (320) to provide ventilation to the wound.

In addition, ozone can be supplied to the air hose (320) to deodorize and disinfect the wound area.

Alternatively, oxygen can be supplied to the air hose (320) to improve blood flow and achieve skin regeneration effects.

Meanwhile, if the inlet nozzle and outlet nozzle of the air motor (340) are switched, that is, if the intake hose (320a) is connected, the intake hose (320a) sucks the air inside the vinyl bag (100) from the wound area toward the intake hose (320a) to depressurize the wound area.

Decompressing the wound in this way causes pus to flow from inside the body towards the wound, which helps with wound healing.

Although the invention has been described with reference to preferred embodiments thereof, it will be readily apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and variations may be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention, and it is to be understood that all such modifications and variations are intended to fall within the scope of the appended claims.
